Hello?" I asked.

"Hey." It was Angad.

"Hi." I replied, aware of Mishti listening intently.

"She there?"

"Hmhm."

"Is it going ok?" he asked.

"Kinda."

"Oh. Ask her if she wants to ride the coaster tomorrow morning. Maybe she'll like me."

"Alright. Bye."

"Bye" he hung up.
"Who was it?" Mishti asked.

"Angad." I replied.

"I already knew from the way you were talking. "She said. She could be so annoying at times! Ignoring the urge to hurl something at her, I asked her the question.

"Angad is the manager of the coaster in Thrill Ride! and he wants to know if you wanna ride it tomorrow."

"Sure." She replied. I cringed. I was hoping she would say no.

"You're gonna have to get up early, you know. Around 5." I said, hoping that she would say no.

"I don't mind." Mishti shrugged.

"Oh" I thought for a moment. "And he's gonna test drive it with you riding the coaster, you know."

"What?" Mishti asked.

"That's his job. Every morning he has to test drive the coaster, to make sure it's running ok."

"That doesn't matter. I've heard a lot about this coaster, and I know that it's been running safely for while now. I don't have a reason to worry." She smirked at me. "By the way sis, has he persuaded you to join him yet?"

I scowled. She had that annoying habit of always being able to switch the conversation back to me.

"No."

"Oh. Still preferring the carousel huh?" she asked, that smirk still on her pretty face.

"Whatever. We should get going. Im sleepy cuz of the meds, and we both have to get up early tomorrow." I started getting up, stumbling with my crutches. Mishti helped me and smiled.

We checked into a tourist hotel right by Thrill Ride!, and spent the night talking, watching movies, and pigging out. Before going to bed, my last thought what that maybe, just maybe, Mishti wasn't all that bad.

"Where is he?" I whined. My foot hurt, and it didn't help that I was standing.

"Hey!" a voice called from a feet yards. Mishti and I both turned, and saw Angad approaching.

"He sure is a fine specimen" Mishti whispered. I blushed and looked down. I heard the subtle hint that Mishti didn't come right out and say.

"Hey. Sorry for being late. Follow me." Angad said as he came by us. He walked ahead, waved to the security guard, who let the trio in without a question.

"So Angad, Kripa tells me that you live in Cali?" Mishti asked.

"Yes. And Kripa tells me that you're getting married?" Angad asked.

"Yea."

"Well that's too bad." Angad winked at her. Mishti laughed and looked at me.

"I like this one." I just rolled my eyes, trying extremely hard not to blush. Mishti and Angad talked some more, and within the a few minutes, they were acting like good friends. I was relieved; it would be a pain if they both hated each other.

They reached the coaster, and as always Angad waved to the boy at the controls. He helped Mishti climb into a cart, and then looked at me.

"Coming?" he smirked, knowing that I would say no.

"No." I stepped back.

Mishti laughed. "Same old Kripa."

"She was always like this?" Angad asked, raising his eyebrow at me.

"Pshh. Yea. And I always had to suffer cuz of her fears" she winked at me and I groaned.

"Both of you need to shut up and get going. I have to punch in for my shift in, like, 10 minutes!" I said, angrily.

Mishti and Angad laughed and put the handle bar in place. Angad turned and gave a thumbs up to the guy at the controls. The track started slowly, and before the roller coaster started, Angad winked at me.

Within minutes the silent theme park was filled with Mishti's screams.

The rest of the day had passed uneventfully. After the coaster ride, Mishti had decided to go to the hotel and talk to her future hubby on the phone. But of course, thanks to Angad, she had insisted to see me in costume. Reluctantly, I wore it, and Mishti took a quick picture before I could protest. After my shift was over, I took the rest of the day to show her the park and the lake.

"Bye!" she said at the airport.

"Bye sis. Good luck with the wedding." I replied.

"Wait. You are coming for the wedding right?"

"Yea. Wouldn't miss it." I said.

"Love ya." She hugged me.

"Love ya, too" I hugged her back, and watched as she walked away, into the terminal. Sighing, I turned back and got in the red shuttle which would take me back to Thrill Ride!.

It was night now, and I sat in my bed, reading a novel. Alliyah was sleeping in her bed, and I could hear her soft breathing. All of a sudden, my phone vibrated under my pillow. I cringed. It had to be Prithvi; I hadn't talked to him in a while. Sighing I picked up the phone.

"Hey babe" he said.

"Hey. Wats up?" I replied, trying to sound normal. Apparently I was convincing.

"Ugh. We got this new waitress, Tess. And I have to train her. She thinks she knows everything….." he continued on with his rant. He always seemed to be talking about this Tess chick on the phone. I tuned him out, but managed to put in a few "aha" or "Hmmm"'s.

"Can you believe it?!" he asked.

I signed. "Sorry, what?"

He seemed to sign too. "Never mind. Wats up with you?"

I could tell he was trying to be polite. He would probably tune me out like I tuned him out.

"Mishti came here to surprise me." I said, expecting no reaction. Apparently I was wrong.

"Really?!"

"Erm ya. Why?"

"No reason. Listen, I gotta go to bed. I have an early shift tomorrow. And I have to tutor Tess too. Love ya, night"

"You too, night"

That's the part! It was longer than usual. This ff is coming to an end really soon. Coming up: Surprise visit from _____, break-up?, wedding, and the end. Erm, 15 long && good comments. I wont count a "good" or "Cont soon" or anything of that nature as a comment. Ill be updating The Devil Wears Armani next. I think that's about it? Yeaaa. :p
