I always wondered how she would react on seeing herself as a muse and her reaction was simply beautiful. She being surprised was kind of expected, but a tear trailing down her eye added the 'real' to her emotions. And well, wasn't that their first hug! Mereko bahot cute lagi.
Khushi is a pure soul and her goodness reflects in her every move. Her childlike glee is enthralling and her wish of 'being given the liberty to dream' is heartfelt. I really hope she gets her due appreciation soon. Well, Arnav did hint at something, nai? A surprise visit to a famous dance virtuoso or her getting a chance to perform. Something like that??
I have never been to Udaipur but it isn't difficult to visualize what the City looks like. The way you have described its culture, the locals, the tourist attraction it holds and the various food delicacies, is perfect. I am not sure how splendid his next painting of hers at the lake side turned out to be. The backdrop setting and her appearance had been so deeply imprinted into his mind and then replicated on the canvas that it is difficult to do the same and not match up to the picture he has already painted.
This chapter was a play of emotions via the words. The way she appreciated an ugly duckling and later went on to praising the 'ugly' shows how well she understands him, as a person who is not perfect and as an artist who is absolutely the best.
The way he described the beauty of the colour 'white' shows how accepting and selfless he is for every thing that he comes across.
I think he is going to paint her very often because every time he does that, he makes her cry and ends up hugging her. Chance maarne ka acha style hai! ;)
I read this somewhere: "The sound of colours is so definite that it would be hard to find anyone who would express bright yellow with base notes, or dark lake with the treble..."
Waiting for the next part.
Update soon. 😊
