"Sometimes it's worth lingering on the journey for a while before getting to the destination" - Richelle Mead, and that's where I am with your story Mirabell.
Meera entrusting Arnav with her favourite book was so telling of her instinctive trust in him. That he will be able to help her understand "the theory of everything" she comes across. The trust which is apparent when she reaches out to him as she sees her mother break down. It was heartbreaking seeing Khushi like that, but she needed to let it out. Arnav's resolute determination, and much more' is going to be needed to show Khushi that she doesn't "have to do this alone" and that he is more than "just a friend". Symbolically, "the willow belongs to the beginning of spring, when all of life is stirring in the depths and begins to shoot outwards once again." Will she open her heart or be a "whomping willow" guarding it fiercely ...
