good of khushi to stand up for herself against bullies like manya. i just wish she would say her feelings aloud to her parents as well.

Thank you so much for the Valentine's Day wishes, hope you all had a wonderful weekend as well :)

With the AD being particularly hectic over the weekend, I wasn't able to type much, so the next update is running a little behind schedule. It should be up by Wednesday afternoon, US time. Evening, IST.

I know there are a lot of questions swirling around in everybody's mind and the next two updates should answer most of them :)

Take your time. The fact that u are writing such a wonderful story makes me happy. In fact I have been reading saffron fields from the beginning. I must say I feel great going through the whole thing. There are some scenes I love like khushi coming to arnavs apmt the first time n him sharing everything about aarav. Then the Tampa holiday where navin n arnav talk. Then Khushis birthday in the SUV where she records her wishes... Oh the list goes on.

Since, I was getting bored, I dug up the teaser for the second half again, just to see if we had missed any clues last time... And the lines of the poem (esp. the ones in pink), stood out to me like a beacon this time, which IMHO, speaks volumes of Khushi's state of mind...

"When life becomes an existence,

and existence, a candle,

a smoldering stick of incense...

To light..

To perfume..

To burn into nonexistence...

Really, is that how Khushi is going to live after she leaves?? Life will be just an existence?? And she will be burning up like a stick of incense, into oblivion, into nonexistence?? 😲

Geez! now that is so depressing... 😭

The other clue that I found that was kind of interesting was the season... Kavi, that should tell us about the timeline methinks...

Both in Khushi's case & Arnav's, Jen's referring to the "monsoon" season... In Khushi's case it heralds the onset of monsoon, which in Northern India, (which is where I think she will be hiding), sets in anywhere from late June to mid-July...

And in Arnav's case, it tells us about "monsoon-lush plains", meaning, well into the monsoon season, that is anywhere from late July to August/September...

I hope that train when it stopped suddenly on the tracks, had something to do with an event that will lead him to Khushi... Poor girl, I can't bear to see her leading a lifeless existence like this...
