Arjun turned back & gave an uninterested look to the girl who beckoned him from behind.
The girl ran up to him to cover the distance between them in 3 steps. But in a hurry, she lost her balance & fell. She closed he eyes due to fear of falling but a pair of strong & muscular arms came to her rescue.
Girl: Thank you, dost.
Arjun: Dost...main kisi ka dost nahi hoon!
Girl: First of all leave my hand.
Arjun immediately jerked back her hand, in embarrassment, but portraying it as anger. Why the hell was he holding this crazy girl's hand, whose face was as innocent as any child, whose smile revealed her naughtiness, who spoke so much without reason, & that also so loudly? And by the way why was he thinking so much about a girl he did not knew & didn't even want, or may be he wanted to. His chain of thoughts were broken by the Girl's voice.
Girl: O ho! Itna attitude. Apni biwi mil gayi toh dost ko bhool jaoge?
Arjun: Yeh kya bakwas kar rahi ho? (his blood boiling)
Girl: Tumhari yaad dasht bohot kharab lagti hai. Are main Riya.. Us din tumhari biwi ghar se kahin chali gayi thi, to maine use dhoondhne mein help ki thi naa, remember Sikander.
Arjun's eyes almost popped out hearing that name. But what was this girl talking about & why the hell did she call him Sikander?
He caught hold of Riya's shoulders and started shaking her, like a mad man, with all his might.
Arjun: Kya jaanti ho tum Sikander ke baare mein, batao mujhe... Batao...
