I love the description of the shaadi - you made us all silent guests at the affair that was meant for close family only. You were simply bang on describing the myriad of emotions that they go through with each step and the acceptance of their vows even if this was not a lve marriage per se. What a contrast from the hate marriage in the show where he completely threw all her thoughts and feelings out of the window as he pursue his own agenda! You have erased that awful night from the show with this very touching ceremony. Thank you. CHOTI for someone so young and who has not gone through the wedding ceremony herself, you have simply outdone yourself with what a couple feels as they go through the actual function. Bravo!

As beautiful as the first part was, I just knew the bad part was coming. I am hoping that he did not go back to his presumptuous self so quickly after the wedding - the one who thinks he has to make all the decision because it will be a shame if he has not learned anything yet. His silent confession before the wedding started led me to believe he got the core reason as to why their relationshio was not working so please Arnav babu do not disappoint me this time since I gave you the benefit of the doubt the first time. Somehow I feel there may be an element of truth in what a reader said in an earlier update, that maybe he was working for the resistance in secret, by working with the British to get information for the resistance. I am probably grasping here but would it not be beautiful for Kushi's Prince Charming to be on the same side as her? What a waste of a suhagraat when emotions were running so high on the passion side! But it will not be good to give in to those when there are unresolved issues. I love that he did not send her to sleep by the pool like in the show because that truly was degrading for a woman. I feel he is going to pick her up during the night and brings her back to the bed. He just promised her Hamesha and will wait for her. Yes there is hope.

I am liking the concept of the story.how two people are different yet similar,come together.totally follows the tagline of ipkknd..
It would be interesting whether khushi will resist or not to go england.

My young writer friend! What a tale you weave... so many threads, with precision and finesse you do it again in this update.

It was all things mushy, soft, romantic ... all on the inside and all things tough, hard and real on the outside - Just like a tortoise/turtle. Now if only we could flip both of them and have them show their bellies.. 😉... we would have a happy couple. Now, what would get these two to show their bellies (read vulnerabilities... heh heh) to each other? Perhaps they can learn a thing or two from Arnav's mother and father?

Keep that pen moving, your imagination running, Do whatever it takes to spin this tale. It's a web and we are all caught in it. :)
