Part 9..

A lot of things had already changed between them.. she surely was facing a totally different phase.. she had started hating the fact that he was DEAD... she didn't know why it felt her like crying to learn about someone's death these days.. it actually reminded her of HIM... It reminded her that the soul she had been living with TOO was a lifeless SOUL...

Him being around her was no more just a duty of HIS but was slowly turning out to be a NEED of HER TOO.. She liked whenever he saved her.. She liked that she was being cared by him.. She wud feel nostalgic not to see him near her.. She didn't want to know the reasons..All she knew was dat she loved his Aura... She had started enjoying his not so frequent gazes on her.. Though he preferred to remain silent but she loved his mere presence around her.. It felt as if she had known him since years.. yaa she knew him from childhood but it felt amazing that how she knew every small thing about him..And moreover the thing that he reciprocated the same for her was of sheer satisfaction to her..

On a silent Sunday night sitting on her bed with her arms folding around her chest she was stealing glances on his ghostly soul who was faking to be busy staring outside her room window, when her phone buzzed wid her favorite ringtone thus bringing her back to reality..

"Hello??" she enquired the unknown caller about his intentions..

"Hulllo??" she chipped again receiving no answers from the one at the other side..

"How... are.. U..??..i.. was... i.. mean.. I've been..Missing u.. sanyukta.." a drunken Aarush stammered in a hurt voice finally breaking the ice between them..

"Aarush..??..u..ok??..wats wid ur voice..??" a concerned friend inside her suddenly felt worried for him..

"U don't.. Miss me right??.. the way I do..??.. u've been so away.. I've not seen..u for days...?? He choked not able to coming up with exact words..

"Hey..u.. wat are u saying.. u are scaring me now... ARE U OK..n..n where are u..??".. she was really confused wid his behavior..

"IT'S MY BIRTHDAY... SANYUKTA.. DO U REMEMBER.. U DIDN'T EVEN WISH ME.. U've been ignoring me.." Aarush complained like a kid badly upset wid her ignorance..

"Shit!!" his reminder made her erupt this only suitable word at the moment.. "Oh God!! Aarush!! im ready for my punishment.. I need to be with u.." She threw her already hung phone on the bed collecting the changeable piece of clothes to wear but not before turning to grant permission from her ROOMMATE..

" Aarush needs me.. I made a big mistake.. im his only close one.. how cud I do this.. I forgot his b'day.. I never was like this.. She gulped her saliva and looked up to face THE GOST...RANDHIR!!.. I know u wud object but I really need to be alone with him for a while.. I hope u understand..??... he cares for me a lot.. I promise nothing will go wrong.. can.. I .. please.. be alone wid him for a few hours..??"... she hesitantly but In a determined tone requested for his approval..

"Just call out my name when u feel like.." stress being noticeable on his forehead, for the first time ever he allowed her to go out genuinely knowing that he cudnt rule over her personal life.. that being a human she had all right to be wid her human friends.. he promised not to follow her this time.. she cud sense his stress and concern for her which she always loved to rejoice in and moved out of her house wearing a long shrug over her figure...

PRECAP:- reducing the gap between their bodies as he leaned forward for a kiss she smiled confusedly wid her eyes closed.. "Aarush!! Kya kehna chahte ho?? Let me open my eyes na..??.. tum aise bhi to keh sakte ho..??"...
