"Randhir ...Randhir speak "
Even after Sanyukta's continuous shaking he stood still ,her phone fell on the bed ,tears dribbled down his eyes . He didn't seem to blink ,even for once.
"Dad" was all he uttered after hours of silence.
"What happened to him ?" She asked worried .
"Your dad.. is in ... hosp..ital" he stuttered.
"He what ?" She didn't seem to believe what he said . seeing her break he wiped his eyes with his sleeves and took her in his embrace. She was behaving like a mere corpse.
"Shh calm down we will catch the next possible flight to India , nothing will happen to him ,you trust me right ?"
He consoled her ,but her condition broke him into several pieces.
"I ..do trust you" she sobbed.
It was the seventh time her phone rang and their trance broke. He panicked seeing her mother call them again.
"Hello" he almost whispered.
"Are you mad ,at least listen completely to what I say " her Mother, Anju spoke angrily.
"What happened mom, is everything okay with dad ?" He questioned gaining a bit of courage.
"He is in the hospital, because he has high blood pressure and he wishes to see you both ,but you didn't even listen to me and reacted "
"I'm sorry mom " he apologized for his impatience
"Did you tell this to her as well , I know you would have told her"
She almost answered the question ,knowing how impatient his son in law was.
"Y.yes" he fumbled on his words.
"I'm hanging up now, tell her and stop getting worried , he is okay "
"Bye mom" he finally bid adieu ,and moved towards the volcano which was soon to erupt.
"Sanyukta.. " he stuttered nudging her.
"Yes " she looked at him with her tear driven face.
"Umm dad is okay , he just had high blood pressure".
"Really "she gleamed with happiness .
He thought it would be better if he doesn't tell her ,but that clearly was cheating on her so he decided to break the ice.
"Listen "
"Say "
"Umm, actually I didn't hear mom at first she was about to tell me this but ,I reacted too soon and I'm really sorry for overreacting" he spoke in a go looking at the floor.
"Are you mad or what? You scared the hell out of me" she shouted on him .
"I'm really sorry" he made a puppy face which did melt her this time.
"It's okay " she smiled remembering he was impatient from the beginning.
It was the day after they had that sensual encounter in the club.
They sat by corner table of cafe coffee day in sector 17 of Chandigarh .It was a table for two. It was warm on the outside at it was just four by their clock and they were hungry enough after the shopping they had done. The dimly lit yellow lights ,aroma of coffee and air conditioners created a romantic situation which both had avoided from the last night encounter ,when they had literally kissed each other in their vision.
"A chocolate browny , vanilla ice cream, and a latte mocha for the lady and umm get the same for me"
He had ordered the waiter still indulged in the menu, While she still tried to ignore the aura and so did he , there was a weird feeling capturing their hearts.
Time didn't seem to pass for them and the order was late too as half an hour had passed and the valet didn't come back with order and with every passing second Randhir had gone impatient.
"Excuse me ,are we here to just wait ,when are you going to get our order"
He had shouted over the valet as he didn't pay any attention to their table earlier but when the valet had seen the anger in his eyes he had apologized with all he had .
"Sir we are really ,really sorry for the inconvenience ,your order will be here in a movement"
His anger had made her gulp too as she was a sophisticated person and creating a scene in a restaurant wasn't, a cup of tea she could have had.
"Randhir please calm down ,we aren't home and its a god damn restaurant "
"I'm sorry but I'm a little impatient person from the beginning" he had replied looking at the floor.
"Its okay " she had replied frowning.
"Mom said dad wants to see both of us"
"Huh what "
"Where were you lost"
"No where .. You were saying something" she stuttered and mentally slapped herself for remembering it all at first place.
"Mom said dad wants to see us " he repeated"
"I'm booking the tickets " she said in excitement and grabbed her laptop.
She wasn't impatient like him but her laptop did give her a hard time as it was running out of memory and working really slow and it really pissed her off.
"Arghh this piece of junk " she shut it down and Randhir laughed out hard.
"What's funny"
"Nothing " he simply shrugged his shoulder .
"Can I use your laptop "
"Sure ,but I guess you don't need it"
"And why do you think so?" She questioned lifting her left eyebrow.
"I booked the tickets so you can relax now ,we'll leave in the in an hour "
"But we need to get back till Monday, how are we supposed to do that "
"Stop panicking ,we take off for two days "
"Lady Angela is already upset with me and you just got your job , I mean what would we do"
"Sanyukta Calm down firstly"
He couldn't tell her it won't be a problem if he took a day off as he worked with Parth ,concealing this from her was killing him from inside but he had no options to himself and he was not going to loose her this time.
"I will talk to my boss ,he is a great man and would allow me to join from Tuesday, it's hardly a problem , you call lady Angela and talk to her I'm sure she won't let you down"
How he wanted to tell her that his job wasn't a problem and it was no use to convince Lady Angela for this , probably she would be leaving her job but he chose to keep it to himself for now.
Lady Angela didn't seem to give heeds to her calls. It was her last try for the day and luckily she did pick it up.
No matter what Sanyukta had given all her life to the job and Lady Angela couldn't disagree on the fact and when she discovered it was her father who wasn't well she easily gave her off.
"Guess what " she shouted in his other ear as Randhir was busy on the line conversing rather convincing Parth that nothing was wrong with her father. Parth though was a grown man but he still had the same soft corner for his best friend and her family. Their friendship was pure and nothing on the earth could break it.
"I will talk to you later" he instantly cut the call detecting her presence .
"What happened" he asked with a genuine smile.
"Lady Angela allowed me to go and she even found about Diana and everything is sorted out now"
"That's amazing" he hugged her all of a sudden forgetting everything they shared ,she was happy and so was his. Some pieces of their life were joining and some far yet so far. After all Love is a pretty mess in its own.
There was a awkwardness in the situation after he broke the hug.
"I will go and pack my stuff, you pack yours" he didn't ask for apology because he wasn't sorry ,it felt so right for him to be with her .
"Yeah I'll pack" Even she loved his warmth ,as in she belonged there but something in her heart did stop her from getting close to him.
She was a perfectionist in her work and her suitcase had all the things she required completely packed but his suitcase was a complete mess to be calculated. It did had all the random things packed except the ones he really required for a small trip.
"What the hell is it" she shouted on him seeing him pack the stuff he had in his bag.
"The things I would need to take for the trip"
"You need this all for a trip that's gonna last a few day" she looked at him with 'are you serious' expression.
And he simply shrugged his shoulders filling what not.
"Get a side and let me pack it"
"No I'm almost done "
"You know we are not allowed to carry luggage which weighs more than 40kgs " she teased .
"Funny right"
"No I'm serious "
"You never know we may need all this"
"Yeah right as in the plane is going to crash and you are a survival expert , don't tell me you are a fan of Bear grylls "
She mocked and gave a hearty laugh messing up her hairs.
"You are making fun of me isn't it"
"I don't have that much courage"
And the quarrel continued for long .
He sighed in dismay and she did a happy dance as she won over him and emptied his luggage and stuffed in his requirements. It did feel strange to her as she did remembered what he badly needs and what he carries precariously .
He can be crazy at times she thought...

Heya ppl okay fine sorry I'm again late ... N I love your comments a lot I feel blessed ... I was busy with exams and then I went for vacations ... I really needed a break ...as we all have stressed up our life ... But here I am back with an update hope you will like it...
Hmm let's see this 18 hours journey has in store for them...
