Well, it all started when I was not even born that my parents and his parents promised each other that they would turn their friendship into a relationship when they have children. I know I know that this a very typically thing for people to say but if you know my parents and Arnav's parents then you would never have taken this so lightly because once they say something that is the rule no matter what happens.
Narrative POV
So on a Cold December night in the year 1992, in Delhi. A princess was born in to this beautiful world. Everyone from their family to friends were here to meet the little princess. She was very special to everyone because she was born after six long years of trying and of prayers. The family finally got what they have been waiting for. They have a healthy and cute little angel in their family now. Just an hour after she was born her father Shashi Gupta made an announcement to his family and to his friends. "Since our prayers have been answer and I officially am ready to give my Khushi to you Ram and Piya. I am keeping my promise and allowing my Khushi to be known as the future bahu of the Raizada family."
Ram and Piya were the happiest of them all to know that Khushi is going to be part of the Raizada family."Don't worry Shashi, you know we will keep her happy. I also know that my son will never disappoint me or his Chota papa." Said Ram very emotionally. "I know Arnav is the one and he can never be a disappointment to all." The best friend shake their hand in agreement to the relationship they were going to seal.
So from that day everyone knows that Khushi is Arnav's and
Arnav is Khushi's for life.
A few year later...
A 12 year old girl was sitting in her room crying, while hugging a photo frame. "I can't you left me without even meeting me. I though that I was your lucky charm. But I guess you proved me wrong. I wish you would have stayed or at least meet me before you left." She looked at the photo and kissed it.
Suddenly she heard the vase at the window fall to the ground. She looked up with her teary eyes. There stood a 16 year old boy look directly at her eyes. "Khushi how many times have I told you not to cry it make me restless and I hate tears in your eyes Pumpkin." Khushi stood up from her bed and went near him and held the collar of his shirt pulling his down to her face and spoke directly on his lips. "Really Teddy, if you hate my tears then you would have never planned to left me here. You would have fought with bade papa and stayed here with me." Arnav grabs her hand and held them in his tightly trying to calm her down. "Pumpkin you know that I have to go no matter what happens. It's a family tradition and I change back it." "I know that Teddy but I can't deal with it. I can't live without you in my life. What will I do if NK teases me or if mom doesn't let me have jalebis? Who would I run to for help?" He chuckled at her reasons. "Pumpkin you know that Chota papa would help you with your mom and as for NK, I would talk to him before I go." Khushi look at him and hugged him. "Don't go na Teddy." "Khushi, you know I have to go, it a tradition Granddad went, dad went, Bhai went and now it's my turn. After me NK
will go too. But Khushi I'm just doing away for studies and I will be back
every vacation and when I'm done with my studies I won't leave you again. I promise." Khushi looked in his eye. She step back from him and held her pinky out at him. "Pinky swear that your will always be with me and you would email me every day and would be my best friend forever." Arnav locked his pinky with hers and nodded his head yes. "OK Teddy you can go but remember your promise." "I will never forget this promise ever Pumpkin." Arnav and Khushi hugged each other a good bye. Arnav when to the balcony and hoped to the balcony right next to hers. (They were neighbor so he would always jumps the balcony to come and meet her.) Khushi went to the balcony and waved a goodbye.
