Liked the beginning and the grumpy Arnav...who wrote 9 3/4 on his ticket?! LOL! Also Khushi's reply to Arnav daatoing Aman for not booking two tickets...so reminiscent of the coffee shop scene and so quirky! But the quirkiness was countered by the seriousness of Arnav's respect for the armed forces and his family connection to them.

I love this zany, theatrical Khushi. She sounds like so much fun. Just what's needed to loosen up the Laad Governor! Watching her eat that jalebi seemed to be a bit of an uncomfortable experience for him ;)

DD, the prologue mentions of IAF and Sukhois and MiGs. Does this have some connection to the story.

And the reference to platform 9 3/4 was indeed nice and humorous. For a moment I thought you are literally sending Arnav to Hogwarts. 😆

This is indeed going to be an interesting train journey for both of them.😉

A recent news article about a Sukhoi crash( where the pilots fortunately ejected safely) prompted the reference to the MIGs & Sukhois of the IAF. Their connection to the story ended with the cause for the strike & Arnav's grandfather's service in the IAF.

I intend Hum Safar to be a fun , frothy read and I apologize if by referring to the crashes I have lead readers to expect a more serious story line.
