Chapter 3

ASR wipes his gun and looks at the dummy he had placed on the chair. Shree said "that is the fourth assassin that has been sent to kill you ASR."

ASR: what can I say. I have become very popular.

Sh: arjun, its not funny.

Both of them turned hearing a voice say "it's never is."

2 men entered the room followed by a girl who wrinkles her nose and said "ewww, what people say is true. Blood really smells like rust."

Sh: get used to it nisha.

Ni: already am. Alright boss?

Arj: never better.

He turned to see his two club members or soldiers in this war sameer damsingh rathore and ranveer vaghela. Sameer is the head of the investigative ETF and ranveer is the head or people can say the leader of the diamond industry. All 3 of them had nothing in common with each other. The only thing common between them is their junoon.

Sam: well you certainly take a piece of cake for this assassination attempt. Mind telling me why you played so long with him?

Arj: I wanted information from him.

Sam: got it?

Arj: yeah, more than he think I would get.

Ran: so sikander is back again?

Sh: from looks seems like it.

Arj: its not sikander.

Everyone looks at him.

Sam: how can you tell its not him?

Arj: sikander would never sent such a sloppy person. its someone who is a part of sikander's organization. Shree traced the call?

Sh: yeah, it came from a burner phone.

Sam: which area the call emerged from?

Sh: near nariman point.

Sam: let see whether we can work with that. are the other people's security intact?

Sh: yeah they are. Except...

Ran: except

Sh: phoenix is again in hell.

Everyone's face tightened. Nisha said "I will go and get her." arjun hands fisted.

Arj: I told her to stay in the house today.

Nis: when does she ever do what you told her to do?

Nisha walked out leaving the 4 of them to continue investigating the crime scene. She reaches the place within 15 minutes. Seeing the scene she could easily understand why the place is called hell. She is stopped at the entrance but as usual saying ASR name worked its charm. She steps into chaos. Everywhere bodies were pressed close together it was a miracle that they could breath swaying against the music or doing who knows what. She stiffens as a person puts his hand on her shoulder but recognizes his touch. He leans down and whispers in her ear "she is in the VIP lounge."

Nis: with someone.

Chotu grimly nodded. Nisha and chotu struggle through the crowd to reach the other end. They see a couple of men and women sitting in the VIP lounge complete out of their senses. They instantly recognize the girl who is leaning her head back in the head rest as a man with a lustful look watches as her top rises up and down. Chotu and nisha are stopped by the guards.

Nis: riya. Riya

The girl opens her eyes and looks blearily at nisha.

Ri: nisha.

She gets up and wobbles her way to nisha. Instead of coming down the 3 steps she falls at the edge of the steps and chotu catches her and rights her up. Riya hugs nisha and said "ASR's secre. What are you doing here wasting your time with me? you should be spending your time with my dear hubby not waste your time with his drunk wife."

Chapter 4

Nisha feels a pang hit her heart as she heard the words. Any person would have thought that she was insulting her but nisha could easily hear the hidden longing and pain in her voice. She signals to chotu and chotu carries her. the man's bodyguards came forward to take riya but a single steely glance from chotu makes them shift back easily showing who is in charge. Chotu and nisha walk out of the club and place riya in the backseat. Riya slumps on the backseat and curls herself into a fetal position and in a few seconds her breathing deepens indicating her sleep. Chotu and nisha sit in the front seats and chotu starts driving the car.

Ch: god! nisha. Thank god you had come. Otherwise I was pretty close to beating that man to pulp and hauling mrs rawte out of there.

Ni: come on chotu. Seriously you would'nt have done that.

Ch: I would have nisha. You should have seen the way she behaved in the club. Dancing provocatively, flirting with men as if she is single and does'nt have a husband and two children. I don't know how Mr rawte, anjali and Aryan stand her. I really feel sympathy for them. she must be always raising hell for them.

Ni: don't let the boss know about your sympathy.

Ch: I don't want to lose my job you know. it is pretty good.

Nisha and chotu laugh. Both of them don't notice the tear running down the face of the backseat person.

Ni: but arjun sir is tough and anjali and Aryan are his children. They will always manage her.

Ch: even toughness has its limits nisha. And sometimes it is better to leave something than to suffer the consequences. Wow

Chotu breaks the car. Nisha turns her gaze to a body lying on the road.

Chotu is going to get out of the car but nisha stops him.

Ni: chotu take the gun. It might be a trap.

Chotu takes the gun and both of them step out of the car. They walk to the body. Nisha bends on her knee while chotu raises his gun to a position which ensures no sudden moves is made. she turns the body and sees that it is the face of a young man. She places her hand near his throat and feels that there is a pulse. The man's eyes open and he grins at her. someone catches chotu and nisha from behind and puts a hanky on their face which had a sour smelling smell. both start to feel an unconsciousness creeping upon them and were unable to stop it. As nisha slowly slides into unconsciousness, she hears vaguely a gunshot and her last thought was "oh god riya."

Nisha feels a heaviness and her eyes felt as if they were stone. She catches her forehead massaging it to stop the piercing headache from attacking her. feeling someone's presence beside her, she slowly opens her eyes and as her vision clears sees that it is her boss. Seeing arjun nisha's eyes lowered immediately and she said "sorry boss."

Arj: what for?

Ni: we could'nt save her.

Before arjun could say anything the door opened with a bang and in comes riya. Nisha felt her eyes pop out with a shock.

Ri: well well look who is awake? Seriously arjun what kind of bodyguards do you hire for me? people would think that you gave me such incompetent guards because you wanted to kill me.

Arj: shut up miss kashyap. The reason you are here alive is because of nisha and chotu. Be grateful whoever came to kidnap you did'nt succeed in taking you and it was'nt because of them.

Ri: hmm..

She leaves and arjun turns his gaze back to nisha.

Ni: arjun sir, we did'nt save her.

Arj: what? Come on nisha. We became worried when the gps showed the same position for the 5 minutes and when we arrived over there only you three were there and all those goons were already dead.

Ni: arjun sir, we were drugged with choloroform and we were unconscious before they were going to take riya.

Arj: but if you and chotu had'nt saved riya. Then who saved all 3 of you?

Ni: and why did he leave the place?

Arjun entered the room to see riya pacing back and forth. He stares at how the hospital gown clunging to her body shaping her curves perfectly and felt himself harden at seeing like that. he was disgusted with his body reaction and for the life of him could figure out at what it was about her that draws him in even today. But the thought which stopped him brought about a hard expression in her face. riya turned around to see arjun standing in front of her his arms folded. She smirked and said "wow, I never warranted that you would meet me mr arjun. Especially after you spend all the time with your lovely assistant? Tell me have you two slept together again?"

Arjun hand's fisted and his disgust turned into anger seeing riya's delight in irritating him. he said in a calm voice "don't be ridiculous riya."

Ri: ooo, angry rawte. What you will do? Hit me? oh right I remember. You would never do that. because your sanskaar does'nt allow you to do it. I wonder arjun, how much of the animaliness do you control in the name of sanskaar?"

Arjun anger slowly shifted into calm as he recognized her routine with him. first make him angry, then taunt him about his sanskaar.

Arj: I don't have time to answer the question which have already answered a hundered times. What do you remember after being in the car?

Ri: nothing.

Arj: don't mess with me miss kashyap.

Ri: sheesh you can't even call me by the married name. oh right! I remember that belongs to her only. And arjun seriously, use your common sense. What person remembers when they have got tequila and vodka in them? which I am still not happy that the hospital pumped it out.

Arj: you remember nothing at all?

Ri: I just remember hearing something which sounded like a shot.

Arj: you saw the gunman.

Ri: duh, obviously not. I thought that something was on the radio.

Arj: did you at least open your eyes to see?

Ri: why would I do that? I was tired and just wanted to sleep.

Arjun turned to go when riya asked "are nisha and chotu okay?"

Surprised, arjun said "yes, they will be okay?"

Ri: good, now cut the hospital fees from their salary. And fire them.

Arj: why would I do that?

Ri: they could'nt protect me. that's why.

Arj: I think I know how to run my company riya. I don't need me to tell you. and next time come quietly when they tell you to leave with them or I will cut off the credit cards. Samjhe ya samjhau?

Ri: sheesh, okay hitler.

Arjun left shutting the door with a bang. The next second, riya's eyes is filled with tears. She wipes them and crouching down she feels under the bed and removes the phone. Removing the tape and placing it carefully on the table she dials the number and after one ring a voice picks up and said "everything is okay in hell?"

Ri: everything is okay. I want to meet the master.

The voice : no. can't do

Ri: I don't think you are in the position to refuse me. I will meet him at the blue lagoon at the time when the sun glows the most. Be there or else.

And she cuts the phone before the voice could say anything else.

sorry guys, i know its a long time that i have updates and i technically don't feel like giving excuses for why i did'nt post as i feel it will be false reason for making you all wait by not updating. the reason for this note is that i read through this story and i was not satisfied with the way it was turning out. so i am revamping this story. this story will be in 2 in 1. one story will appear in arjun forum and the other in the sony tv serial reporters. both the stories will be having different perspectives and will be posted within 2-3 days along with the rest of the stories pakka promise. the new story will be posted as a new link.please be patient and thank you so much for being patient these past 2 months.
