Readers,

I know most of you only like to read TaaRey scenes and might not enjoy Akki and Nikki scenes. But I can't change my story and keep it all Taareylicious. A story needs to have every aspect and can't have only leads' scenes. With that in mind, don't request me to just write about TaaRey. Nikki and Akki's story will unfold while I will definitely give you TaaRey scenes on the side. There is a lot more in store for the ending. So stay tuned.

The next few days went by uneventful. Everyone was busy shopping for the wedding. It could have been easy if everyone chose designers to bring their best clothes at the Shikhawat Mansion. But, no! Everyone wanted to hit the malls and streets to enjoy every bit of the traditional shopping style. Nikki shook her head remembering the open-mouth reaction of everyone when she gave the idea of calling all the designers to the mansion.

At that moment she was happy to oblige to the wishes of everyone and do this the traditional way. Standing now at this moment, she wanted to slap herself for agreeing to this. By this, she means the constant argument of Mrs. Shikhawat with every sales person she met today. It was funny in the beginning to watch such a rich woman bargaining so tactfully. But now it was getting tiresome. The scorching weather wasn't making it any easier. The constant heat of the streets and air conditioner inside the stores were making her feel sick.

A few hours ago, when everyone arrived at the very famous shopping outlet, boys and girls split to do their shopping. About thirty minutes ago, she received a call from Rey saying they were all done. She wished she could say the same but they were barely halfway done. She needed the much-needed break but she couldn't ask for it. She was afraid to approach the very annoyed Mrs. Shikhawat. To her much surprise, Jeevika approached her and told her she can join the boys in the cafeteria and take her lunch break. She was relieved, to say the least.

Obliging happily, she all but ran out the store and towards the cafeteria. The outlet was huge and hence it took a few minutes before she reached the boys. "She will be here soon. Don't worry," Rey teased impatient Akki as he nudged his friend with his elbow. Rey let out a throaty laugh when he saw the glare Akki was giving him. It was so damn obvious to everyone that Akki has been trying to talk to Nikki about that night. He wanted to apologize for his horrible behavior. To his dismay, Nikki was doing a great job in avoiding him. She was hurting and wasn't great at hiding it either. He was thrilled to know that everyone was going to the shopping together. He hoped to God to get a chance to talk to her while everyone was distracted in shopping. He was disappointed when Nikki suggested to split up to save time. He had silently grunted and followed the boys. When Jeevika informed them that Nikki is on her way to the cafeteria, he was practically jumping in his seat waiting for his moment. Rey was taking every opportunity to settle the score by teasing and taunting him playfully. All in good humor and Akki knew that as well.

They finally spotted Nikki entering the shaded cafeteria. She wanted to cuss herself to find such a huge outdoor mall to go shopping. She could have chosen a fully air-conditioned mall but no she wanted to go for the one out in open. She wiped the sweat from her forehead with the back of her hand as she approached them. Rey quickly got up from his seat giving her the spot right next to Akki. Before she could mutter a thank you, she swayed making everyone freeze except Akki. In a swift motion, he was next to her holding her by her slim waist. With his free hand, he wiped all the sweat from her face and neck blowing cool air on her face. "Get water! She is having a heat stroke," he demands to no one in particular while recalling all those times she would pass out due to the scorching heat.

Carefully he walked her to the seat and makes her sit down while kneeling in front of her. Rey got the water for her as he handed the bottle to Akki. Nodding in appreciation, he makes Nikki slowly sip it. "How many times have I told you to keep a fu*king water bottle with you at all times? You are very well aware of your condition. In such hot weather, you can't be neglectful. How can I be such an idiot and didn't make sure you stay hydrated?" he mutters the last part to himself angrily putting away the half empty water bottle. Nikki couldn't stop herself from smiling seeing his old concern and possessiveness. She always enjoyed his possessiveness and pampering. Then things went haywire and the misunderstandings between them drew a crack in their once beautiful relationship. The thought left a bitter taste on her.

"I am fine," she says quietly taking her hands back from his. They both didn't notice when Akki took her hands in his. Clearing his throat, he gets up too and goes to order her favorite food. "Eat," he instructs in a soft tone as he places the food in front of her with a lemonade. She was about to object but her stomach growls making everyone chuckle while she blushes. "You are so cute," Viren says seeing her blush in embarrassment. Akki clinches his fist at the comment making Rey laugh. "He is married, dude," Rey says to Akki making Nikki look at them confused. Finally, it dawns on her the meaning of Rey's words making her look down avoiding their eyes. She quietly eats while everyone makes small talks as they wait for the girls to be done with their shopping.

Once Nikki was done, everyone decided to join girls and annoy the crap out of them. They were hoping this way girls will go home with them and not bore them to death. Nikki only shook her head at their silly plan. She decided to go along with the plan. They all walked to the boutique girls were in trying the dresses the picked for the upcoming bachelorette party. Akki had a water bottle in his hand as they walked in. The salesperson argued a lot but Akki didn't let go of the bottle. It was cute to see him fight for her health. She finally decides to get him out of his misery and made the salesperson keep the water bottle at check out instead of throwing it away. Rey just watched in amusement at their stubbornness and care for each other. Soon they went about to find their respective lady love.

Swayam was the first to find Sharon standing in front of the mirror with a short black cocktail dress in her hand as examines it. It had a lace bodice with a tight waist that flows freely at the hips. It had two black straps crossing at the back leaving the entire back bare. In short, it looked sexily elegant. "Try it," Swayam whispers in husky tone in her ear making her jump. "Swayam," she reprimands him for scaring her as she turns red. Ignoring her attempt to get mad at her, he grabs the dress and pushes it towards her making her take it from him. Huffing a sigh, she walks into the changing room. He paced impatiently as she changes into the dress.

She opens the curtain and walks out confidently. It was like a diva walked out, ready to walk on the ramp. He looked at her with mouth open almost drooling. She never seized to blow him away. She turns red at his reaction tucking a loose hair behind her ear. She bites her lower lip making him snap out of his daze. "Sharon," he says her name in tortured tone as he pulls her for a kiss. "You drive me crazy," he mutters against her lips as he cups her neck tilting it to deepen the kiss. She tasted like her favorite strawberry lemonade. Swayam knew she must have had it just now. He slips his tongue into her mouth devouring the taste of her sweet mouth. His free hand wraps around her waist pulling her impossibly close. She lets out a moan making him realize where they were. Cussing under his breath, he pulls away resting his forehead against her.

"Buy the dress, but you are not wearing this in public," he says possessively as he pulls away from her. She snaps out of her daze, and the diva was back as she glares at him. "I love this dress and I am going to wear it," she all but snaps her finger at him making him narrow his eyes at her. "Oh yeah? we will see..." he says in a tone that holds the promise of punishing her if she defies him. She shudders as she recalls what his punishments were like turning red.

She shakes her head pouting using her cute face to get out of it. He couldn't help but smile at her as he pulls her into him by quickly tugging at her wrist making her gasp. He hides his face in her neck as he says, "you will be the death of me." He plants a kiss then bites on the crook of her neck followed by sucking on the spot. When he knew it will leave a mark on her, he slowly pulls away breathing hard just like her. "Now, no one will dare to touch what's mine," he says arrogantly making her eyes go wide when the realization hits her. She looks at the red mark on her neck in the mirror and then glares at him. He shrugs and walks away smirking as she stomps her feet in anger. If she wins, he is not losing either that was the only to keep his wild girl happy yet grounded.

"Ughh!," Taani groans in annoyance as she tries to pull the zipper. She huffs a breath out making the zipper go down even more due to her action. She gasps as she realizes her mistake. She was about to have a meltdown as she covers her face with both hands. Rey was passing by the changing area when he heard her groan. There was no mistaking it was his Taani. He slowly walks into the changing area moving the curtains aside a bit. He finds her standing with her back facing him and face covered with her hands. He inhales deeply as he sees her milky bareback. Shaking his head clear, he slowly walks to her and starts zipping up her dress. She jumps a little as she uncovers her face and looks at him in the mirror. He gives her small smile as he clasps the hook in place unintentionally grazing his knuckles on her bare neck while doing so.

She couldn't stop the shiver that ran through her body. He notices that and his eyes darken as he looks at her in the mirror. She looks away unable to look into his passionate eyes. "Rey, I... how did you find me?" she asks trying to calm her breathing down while changing the subject. Rey takes a step closer towards her making his chest and her back meet as his hands land on her bare forearms. "I heard a groan. There was no mistaking it was yours," he whispers against her ear his lips grazing her skin making her quiver. He plants a kiss right behind her ear watching her reaction.

Taani closes her eyes at the sensation as she clutches on to her gown.

"Look at me, Taani," Rey demands softly and waits for her to do as asked. When she meets his eyes through the mirror, he continues the trail of kisses down her neck. He made sure to hold her attention as he nibbles at the crook of her neck. He wanted her to be there with him, see him and feel him as he tastes her. She gasps when she felt his teeth nibble her flesh. "Rey," she lets out a breathy moan struggling to close her eyes in undeniable pleasure but he wouldn't let her. It was like he was looking straight into her soul. "I love you, Taani," he whispers as he steps back and turns her around. His eyes trail down to her feet and come back to meet her gaze. "You look ravishing," he says in a throaty tone making her shiver at the need evident in it.

"Rey, stop," she says shyly looking away unable to face his desires. He steps closer to her lifts her chin up to meet her gaze. "I can't help it, Taani. Only I know how hard it is to hold myself back. I don't even know how I haven't made you mine yet. All I want to do is push you against this wall and ravish you. Explore every inch of your body. I want to leave my mark on you. I want to love you until we both forget everything else but us. I want to make love to you until we both pas..." Rey was interrupted when Taani puts her hand on his mouth stopping him from speaking any further.

She was literally shaking at the intensity of his words. There was a storm brooming inside of her. there were too many emotions running through her desires, love but the most prominent one was fear. She couldn't push away the tremendous fear she felt. She tried to reassure herself that it was her Rey but nothing helped. "I am sorry," she says more like pants and runs out of the stall, they were in. A confused Rey was left in the stall as he tried to decipher what went wrong.

"Where is Rey?" Akki asks short of whining as he was beyond tired of this shopping spree. He broke into a grin when he finally spotted Rey coming out of the store. "There he is! Man, we have been waiting for you. Let's go!" Akki slaps Rey's back and they all start heading towards their cars. Taani was with the girls she could feel his eyes on her but she ignored him completely. She needed to gather herself before she could face him.

They all went home and went to their respective rooms to rest.

It was dinner time when everyone gathered at the huge dining table. Akki looked around for someone particular. "She went home when we all got here," Sharon says winking at Akki making him glare at her. She giggles while everyone laughs at his expense. Ignoring everyone, he digs into his food. Taani also joined with Nanhi and stayed pretty occupied in feeding her. Rey was quiet the entire time playing and replaying their time in his head. He wanted to know what he said that made her react like that. He was relieved, to say the least when he saw her join them at the dinner table.

But he was no fool to think everything was fine between them. He just needs to figure things out before everything goes down the hill.

After dinner, everyone sat down in the living room to show what they shopped. It was a nice family time with Nanhi adding her own cute comments on every purchase. Some were downright hilarious. Everyone had a good laugh when she asked Akki if he bought the sleeveless traditional coat (jacket) for his girlfriend. To her, the coat was too girly for him. Even Taani cracked when she heard the comment. Akki, being him, huffed and puffed and threw his coat back in the bag and pouted like a baby. Sharon awed at his antics and pulled his cheeks. Seeing that Swayam pull her back to him making everyone laugh again. After an hour or so, everyone called it a night and went to sleep hoping to get the rest they needed after the long tiring day. Only two souls were restless that night while everyone slept soundly.

Rey woke up with a migraine. He had spent all night thinking about Taani and their relationship. A bit after dawn, he had passed out of exhaustion. Grumpily, he stepped out of the bed and left his room in search of coffee. He stopped mid-step at the entrance of the kitchen. A soft smile was replaced on his face when he saw the two most precious girls in his life cooking breakfast. Nevermind, they were not cooking but fighting on who gets to do what. He laughed silently as Nanhi tricked Taani into getting the spatula as she fist pump in the air and get to cooking whatever that was on the stove. Taani gaped at her tactics as she stood beside the stool Nanhi was standing on.

All the thoughts of a migraine were gone, as he leaned against the door frame and watch them cutely quarrel as they cook. It was a sight to cherish. But his moment was shattered when someone bumped into his shoulder. "Fu*k man, what the hell are you doing standing like a wall," Akki says rubbing his now red nose as he glares at Rey then look past him to find both Nanhi and Taani glaring back at him. He gulped and give them a sheepish look and apologized for cursing. Rey had to do nothing but smile as he watched his girls glaring at Akki with their hands to their waists. They were a carbon copy of each other.

Rey stood straighter as he let Akki get into the kitchen and fix himself a coffee that was already brewing. "Good morning," Rey says not knowing if it was okay to kiss them morning as he couldn't kiss one of his girls and not kiss the other. So, instead, he walked towards Akki and grabbed the mug of coffee he just made. "Hey!" Akki protests with a cookie in his mouth making it sound like 'Heee'. Rey just shrugs and drink the coffee making Nanhi giggle. He winks at Nanhi as he walks up to them. "What are you guys cooking?" Rey asks sounding casual but his Taani knew better.

She smiles and walks up to him so now he was sandwiched between the girls. "We were preparing breakfast for you," she says smiling softly at him then signals Nanhi. They both lean at the same time and kisses his cheeks making him smile. The burden on his chest lightens and he finally breathes easily. He looks down at Taani and the look on her face assured him that she was okay, they were okay. He pulls her into his arms making her gasps. Nanhi giggles when he winks at her and then pulls her to his other side hugging both his girls. He plants a kiss on their hairs as he holds them to him. "Awww, the moment is so sweet and I hate to ruin it. I really do but I am starved," Akki interrupts them making Rey grunt at him while the girls shake their head at him. They all settle down at the dining table as Taani and Nanhi serve them.

"Good morning, I made breakfast. Please join us and tell me how was it," Nanhi greets Nikki and takes all the credit for the work which was mostly done by Taani. Taani raises an eyebrow at Nanhi which she ignores and drags Nikki to sit beside Akki. She serves her before Nikki could protest and then makes puppy face waiting for her feedback. Nikki couldn't help herself as she giggles. It was music to the ears of the person sitting next to her. But she was bewitched by the little girl beside her to notice the way Akki was looking at her.

She takes a small bite of the cheesy omelet and lets out a small moan. "This is delicious, I would kiss the cook," Nikki says winking at Nanhi who gasps and giggles running back into the kitchen. Akki shifts uncomfortably beside her which does not go unnoticed by Rey making him laugh silently at his expense. Akki jabs his elbow into Rey's side making him groan in pain as he smirks at Rey. "Akki," Taani reprimands as she comes to Rey's side and rubs where Akki jabbed him. "I bet he is fine and probably wants me to beat him more if the end result is this," Akki says smugly pointing at Taani rubbing his side. She turns red and someone slaps Akki upside down at his head making him yelp. He turns to see who it was and pales to find Swayam all but glaring down at him. It was Nikki's turn to giggle at his reaction followed by Sharon who greets everyone. Their cute teasing continues throughout the breakfast as more and more family members join them. Even Nikki participates while they all made her feel like the part of their family once again.

"Are you ready?" Sharon asks as she knocks at Taani's door. "Yeah, almost," a nervous reply comes from behind the door. Sharon smiles and walks into Taani's room. Taani turns around to see Sharon walks in fully ready. Sharon twirls around like a fairy to show off just to ease Taani's nervousness. It worked when Taani broke into a giggle as she takes her bhabhi in. She was wearing a red blouse. Her blouse had a halter neck covering most of her front but it was compensated by the bare waist and back. She was wearing a purple flowy sharara with golden work on the borders. Her dupatta was draped like a saree around her making the outfit look like a blend of sharara and saree. It was beautiful and made her look nothing short of the diva she is. Taani smiles lovingly at her bhabhi as she gets up saying, "my turn."

It was her turn to flaunt her beautiful dress to her bhabhi. Taani was adorned in a beautiful cream color ghaghra choli. Her blouse was sleeveless and ended at her midriff, showing off her slender waist. As she swirled the ghaghra flowed with ease. Her sheer dupatta was draped over her right shoulder to give a look of saree just like her bhabhi's. A huge kundun necklace hung around her neck with matching jhumkas. Her hairs were neatly done in a bun covered with jasmine flowers. Lastly, she had a tika on to finish off her future bride look. Her hands were mostly bare except she wore thick kangan in each hand given to her by Rey's dad. She finally came to halt facing her Bhabhi who was nothing but gawking at her in awe. She blushed and looked down feeling giddy. "If I didn't know better, Rey would definitely elope with you today, Sharon exclaims winking making her turn even redder.

Sharon walks up to Taani and in a traditional way she swiped a finger on her kajal and placed a dot behind Taani's ear. Taani teared up seeing that and hugs her Bhabhi. She was glad her bhaiyyo chose her as his wife. Collecting herself, Sharon steps away from her and says, "let's go before Rey comes here to get you. The girls share a laugh before they both leave the room to go downstairs.

Everything looked amazing. Nikki left no stone unturned in preparing for the sangeet's function. The place was lit from every nook and corner. There were baithaks (sitting arrangements) everywhere with drum-like cushions for the comfort of guests. A square shaped space was left empty in the middle of the hall. Everyone was eager to meet the bride-to-be especially Rey. His eyes kept going back and forth towards the staircase. "Why don't you go get her yourself? Viren teased making Rey huff in annoyance as everyone laughs. "There she is! Swayam announces a few seconds later making Rey's head snap towards the stairs to find it yet again empty.

He turns back to look at Swayam who was trying so hard to hold his laughter but couldn't any longer. The look on Rey made him laugh out loud while another chuckle at his expense. "Guys, guys! She is here, Akki says excitedly as they all look behind Rey towards the staircase. Rey didn't fall for it this time. He just glared at Akki making him shake his head. "I swear! She is coming down the stairs now with Sharon, Akki tries to tell Rey but he wouldn't budge. He moved only when he heard someone in the background gush about the beautiful bride-to-be.

It was like he was in the movie where a guy turns and spots his girl. Their eyes meet and everything around them fades away. All the guests, the annoying friends, everyone, all that left are them. The exact same thing happened to him when he saw her, his Taani. His breath got stuck in his throat when he took her beautiful attire in. She made it look even prettier than it was. His eyes came back to hers and he saw nothing but love and happiness sparkling in them. Her usually rosy cheeks had turn red as tomatoes as she noticed his gaze on her.

While Rey was being teased by his friends, Taani was bundle of nerves. She was nervous as hell as she stepped down the last step, but when she spotted him all her nerves disappeared, and all she was left was with happiness and excitement. She could see she had cleaned bowled him with her beauty. The way he stared at her star-struck made her turn red. Sharon swiftly guided her to Rey who was still gawking at her with his mouth open. "Close your mouth, before you embarrass yourself by drooling all over the place, Akki says jamming his elbow into Rey's side. Rey finally looked away from Taani to glare at their best friend. Before he could say anything in return they were being pulled towards the area designated for them.

After fussing around over them, everyone left TaaRey alone in their assigned seat. "You look beautiful, were the first words Rey utters as his eyes meet hers. She turns red and shyly fixes a strand of hair behind her ear. "Thank you. You look handsome too, she says to him then look around trying to avoid his intense gaze. His smile only got bigger seeing her all shy and giddy around him. He couldn't say anything further to make her blush even more as they both got interrupted by Swayam. "Mic testing... hello!... It's working much to everyone's dismay, he says smirking as their group of friends pretends groan. TaaRey smiles at their antics and waits for Swayam to speak, "Let me start with welcoming every one of you to join my sister's and best friend's Sangeet function. When I first met Rey, I never thought we would become best of friends let alone relatives. Today, I share a bond with him that I can't explain but the fact that I am giving my precious choti, Taani, to Rey shows that I trust him with my life. Everyone was now listening to Swayam intently. Unknowingly, Rey's eyes had misted at his best friend's words as he watched Swayam with a wide grin on his face.

"It definitely doesn't mean I won't interrupt you whenever you are trying to romance my sister, he adds with a wink making Rey groan in fake annoyance. Ignoring that Swayam continues, "its been years, so long, after I finally found you, Taani. I can't believe my eyes when I see you sitting right in front of me so happy and radiant. Today, I am the happiest brother to finally find his sister and to give her away to a guy I know will never bring tears to your eyes. It doesn't mean that I don't envy him. He will now have you all by yourself and I will again have to live without you. By this point, everyone was teary including Taani who got up and ran to her brother hugging him tightly. He wasted not a single second to hug her back. Rey slowly joined them and once they pull away, Rey hugged Swayam.

"Sorry to interrupt the beautiful moment, but I am dying to perform, Sharon says in a whiny tone to lighten up the mood. Everyone erupted in laughter as they all settle down to let Sharon burn the dance floor.

The booming sound of applause was deafening. The loudest of all was Swayam who watched his wife dance gracefully as always. He came back with the mic, "don't worry! I won't make you guys cry again... I think. Everyone chuckles as they all buzz with excitement to see what's in store next for them. "The upcoming performance is by all of us, your talented friends, Swayam says cockily making TaaRey shake their heads at him.

The performance was amazing. The environment was still oozing with electricity they all created with their dance and music. Everyone was grinning ear to ear. TaaRey waited for someone to come on the mic again but no one did. Instead, all their friends huddle around them, especially around Rey. Rey looked around confused as they start fussing around him. "Rey, let's go! Simmi says grabbing his hand making him stand up. Before he could ask where Vicky adds, "its time for pooja. Taani frowns at them and asks, "what pooja? They all ignore her and literally drag Rey towards the praying area the Shekhawat's had constructed. "Rey, it's for your better future, Sharon adds as they stop right outside the area.

Take your shoes off, man!', You can't enter like this', make it fast, dude,' All of these were the words from his friends as Rey slowly took his shoes off. Before he knew one of them reached down and grabbed his shoes and ran away followed by the rest of the group leaving him gaping. Taani was watching the entire scene unfold and when she saw Rey standing there barefoot with his mouth hanging, she bursts out laughing making him glare at her. He quietly joins her, huffing silently at her teasing him. They both look at the now girls and boys team in front of them fussing over who gets the shoe.

Finally, Sharon reaches them panting with shoes in her hands. The rest of the girls join her as she demands a big stack of money from Rey. Rey tries to dodge off the inevitable, but when Nanhi joins in asking for money for her new dollhouse, Rey reaches in his pocket and give away all the money he had. Everyone cheers and showers Nanhi with lots of kisses confusing the crap out of her. TaaRey just shakes their head at the girls.

Someone announces that the dinner was ready and everyone rushes toward the buffet. TaaRey were famished too and as if the silent prayer was heard, Swaron come to them and drag to their special table for dinner. After the dinner, the guests start to leave. Taani yawns when it was only the family and friends left. Noticing that Rey asks her to go get some rest earning aww and ooo's from everyone. Blushing Taani says goodbye to everyone while thanking them all for making the evening so memorable for her. She then heads for her room where Nanhi was already fast asleep. Soon everyone does the same calling it a night. It was finally after three at night, the Shikhawat Mansion was finally silent as everyone sleeps like dead meat due to exhaustion.
