Chapter 2
He is shocked beyond limits seeing her standing there as too someone else's wife. And that someone else is none other than Siddhant Modi, his good for nothing cousin. He never imagined in his wildest dreams that she will be here that too like this. He keeps on looking at her and feeling someone intense gaze upon herself. She looked up and for a second their eyes met with each-other. And they have lots of questions for each other nothing more. And their trance breaks with one voice as Tara called her.
Ta:''riddhima you have to cook today as this is custom.''
She said in sugar coated voice and riddhima just nodded her head. She knows all these customs. But she is just going to do for the sake of name relation not from her heart. Then she speaks up.
Ta:''come riddhima I will show you the kitchen.''
She said and riddhima again nodded and followed her. Jai observed armaan as he is looking at riddhima's retreating figure. Then he called him.
Ja:''armaan.''
A:''ji uncle.''
Armaan breaks his trance as he heard his voice then seeing him, he started.
Ja:''armaan we are sorry. We have to rush Sid's marriage. We really don't want this especially when you were not here.''
He said in his sugar coated voice and armaan just nodded his head.
Ja:''armaan you know how sid is, riddhima is a nice girl. We really hope that riddhima will amend sid's ways.''
He said and armaan looked at him. He has pain in his deep blue oceanic eyes.
A:''may be uncle but I really hope in your blind love towards Sid, you did not spoil an innocent girl's life.''
He said feeling a stab in his heart and jai looked at him. Then he just excused himself.
A:''excuse me. Jospeh bring my breakfast in my study.''
He said to Joseph who just come after dropping that idiot sid in his room. And joseph nodded and he made his way in his study.
As soon he entered in his study, he slumped on the leather chair. He opened the drawer of his table and picked one of the frame. And he traced the face over the frame.
A:''why riddhima? You got married to that sid. You don't deserve that idiot riddhima. He is not at all good guy. You both are poles apart. I know I did not confessed my love to you. But I really don't know that you will get married to sid. Its so much shocking for me riddhima. I was going to ask your hand for marriage from your parents last week. But then these important things comes up and I have to left for States. But I really don't have any idea that my life will be ruined when I will be back. Why it happened with me all the time. I so love you riddhima from the time I first saw you. Why me whenever I love someone why he goes away from me. But I really hope that sid did not spoil your life the way he did with Tammana. And I will make sure of it. One hurt or one scratch on you and I will be death to him. I will forget my all so called relations with him. You are my strength but at the same time you are my weakness too. Though you are not with me now, but you will be happy. And this is my promise to myself to you and to My Love.''
He said determined in his heart and then he looked at his parents's huge photo frame. He so missed them today if they were here today. At least he can share his pain with them. But they are not here, left him alone in this cruel world.

Then his trance breaks as he heard knock on the door. He immediately cleared his tears then called the person in.
A:''come in.''
And as he heard the foot steps he spoke up thinking it must be Joseph with his breakfast.
A:''joseph put it on table. I'll have it later on.''
He said as he opened his files to check but then he heard one soft voice.
R:''ji.''
And his head shoot up hearing her and he looked at her. There she is placing his breakfast on the table. And he don't even know
A:''riddhima aap?''
He questioned her and riddhima just replied placing tray on the table.
R:''ji apka breakfast layi thi.''
She replied and armaan nodded but
A:''But why you I mean Joseph would have bring it.''
R:''ji actually mom said as I made this. I should have bring this for you.''
She cleared his confusion and armaan nodded his head. Then as she started walking away as they don't have anything to say, armaan called her.
A:''sorry.''
Riddhima is surprised hearing his sorry. For what he is apologizing now. For breaking her heart in pieces.
R:''kis liyye?''
Armaan is taken back with that sudden coldness in her voice but still he speaks up.
A:''I don't have anything to gift you. As I don't know about your marriage.''
He explained himself and that makes riddhima's heart pained. She gets angry trying her best to control she speaks up.
R:''its completely fine. I don't need anything from you Jeth Ji (brother-in-law).''
She said and then she walked from there leaving a shocked armaan behind. He is shocked beyond limits seeing her cold expressions.
