Chapter 31 - Dare to date again ?
Part two - Main Tenu Samjhawan Ki !
"Pink or purple ? "Chitra asked looking at the available colours ranges from the huge leap of cloth material heaped in Draupadi 's room .
"None ! I want something more glamouros , something like off golden "Draupadi said as she looked through the materials of cloth . As their friend's Hidimba wedding was near they were deciding on what to wear. Draupadi was good in designing and knowing that both Chitra and Hidimba had given her the responsibility of designing their clothes . Hidimba had trusted her so much that from engagement to the reception all her clothes were to be designed by Draupadi and Draupadi was really panicked as there was only two weeks left for her friend's engagement and she really did not know how would she end up . Yes she was confident that she designed clothes very well and had designed all her outfits in her cousin sister Shikandi wedding which got many praises but then she was not actually ready to take the responsibility to design all the outfits that too of the bride herself !
After all she was not a profession , she still needed to learn more .
"Okay Drau , first of all please tell me what is off golden ? What kind of colour is that ? I have heard off white and golden but not off golden ! "Chitra said as she sank into the couch with her hands in her head .
"It means ...it means ...the colour ...u know " Draupadi searched for the perfect words . She too really did not know want off golden meant so she just sighed and shook her head . What rubbish was she speaking ?
"Leave all this Drau ...we still got plenty of time ..."Chitra left her sentence unfinished as Draupadi rolled her eyes in the word plenty ."okay okay not plenty but at least enough time . Right now lets discuss about the date that u are having tonight ! "Chitra said trying to distract her friend's mind as she knew that if she was left in this confusion then her mind would surely blast .
"What what about the date ? "Draupadi asked and Chitra hit her head with her hands as she asked so.
"What are u wearing for the date ? "Chitra asked and Draupadi opened her mouth to speak and again closed it.
"U don know ? "Chitra asked in a surprised . Draupadi shook her head in no and Chitra gave her a *r u insane* look . "You r here panicking for the engagement that is two weeks far where u don know what to wear tonight ! "
"Seriously Chitra , I never thought about the dress ! What do u think , what should I wear ? "
"Ummm wear what u wore when u first met him "Chitra suggested .
"That's a nice idea! "Draupadi exclaimed . "Only that I do not remember what I had worn that day ! "
"Oh ! Drau ! "
"Yeah , yeah I remember , I remember . I had worn a white dress "Draupadi said sighing in relief . Thank god for that she remembered that .

After two hours of search Draupadi finally got the white dress . The dress was half blue and half white . The upper part was blue with a big blue bow and the lower part was plain white .
With that she wore a plain blue high heels which matched the upper part of the dress .
Her ears were decorated with diamond earring shaped like a feather which covered her half ears .
Draupadi fair silk smooth hands was beautified by three gold rings with small diamonds in it . Her finger had an excellent piece of nail art .
Her hair was made tied and half was set free . Chitra had made a bow with Draupadi 's beautiful brown hair .
To add to the beauty she had placed white lilies in it .
Draupadi stood up as they were finished with her dress up . She looked at the mirror and could not believed the sight she saw . She was looking like every man's fantasies . She quickly hugged Chitra in excitement.
"Draupadi seriously you are looking so so beautiful . Your man is surely going to go in his knees looking at u " Chitra complimented which turned Draupadi red .
"Now it is getting late , it is already quarter to six u should get going "Chitra hurried Draupadi out . As they came out of Draupadi 's room they came across Dhirs .
"Oh he has a such a bad timing just like Hindi movie police ! "Chitra commented as both Draupadi and Chitra tried to ignore him . But as they were going to climb down the stairs Dhirs got his eyes on them .
"Hey Sis ! Hi Chitra ! What r u both doing ?" Dhris said and the voice alarmed both Draupadi and Chitra.
"We r trying to sneak out "Draupadi gave the very honest reply as Chitra pinched her softly . "What r u doing Bhai ?"She asked back in order to distract his attention away from them .
"Oh searching for a person to watch Fast and furious 7 "Dhris replied. "I bought two tickets and then my girlfriend sorry ex girlfriend backed out from the movie so I got no one to go with me . All my friends have already watched the movie , I was too stupid to wait for my girlfriend , correction again ,ex girlfriend . "
"Oh why don't u take Chitra with u ?she loves action movie "Draupadi suggested .
"I do ? "Chitra asked Draupadi and Draupadi signalled her to keep quite .
"See , she is also agreeing "Draupadi said and continued "And Fast and Furious is her favourite series , she has watched all the parts more than two times "
"Drau I have not watched any parts how m I going to watch part seven ? "Chitra asked silently to Draupadi as she turned to her and replied .
"Do not worry they are not related "And as Draupadi whispered that ,Chitra eyed her suspiciously . "Okay not so much!" She corrected her sentence.
"But where are u going Sis ? "Dhirs said looking at his sister in admiring eyes as he saw her dressed very beautifully .
"Somewhere ! Now leave her . We need to go right ? Do u want to get late . At least I do not want to miss the start of the movie "Chitra said as she pulled Dhris not letting him to speak .
"Wow they would make a perfect pair ! "Draupadi said as they both disappeared . "But Right now I should be worrying about my better half ! " and saying this she hurried towards the door .

Arjun sighed as he looked at his watch again . What if she did not come ? What if she concluded that he did not love her and backed off ?
All these thoughts worried Arjun as he could feel some droplets of water in his forehead . Was he sweating ? Yes he was sweating but why ? Maybe due to fear ...but fear of what ?
He was lost in all this confusion when he heard car horn and saw a car coming towards him . He was standing in the middle of highway supporting his back on his bike waiting for his lady love . He saw the car stop right in front of him and when the back door slam opened a beautiful young girl came out of the car.
Arjun eyes widened looking at the sight he was waiting to look at from the past hour . She was looking so beautiful and gorgeous that he wanted to take her away far away. He was so taken aback looking at her that he wanted to marry her just then . But he controlled himself .
Where Arjun could not take his eyes off her , Draupadi was lost in the sight in front of hers . He was looking so damn hot in his red shirt and black jeans . He was looking so handsome just like the same way when she had first laid her eyes on him . He was wearing the same outfit which he had worn the first time they had met .
He had vans in his feet , simple yet sexy . Draupadi got distracted as his hands moved towards her . She joined her hands with his inviting hand and he pulled her into a warm embrace .
She smiled as she felt his presence in her soul . Their hug which was long enough to bring peace and calm to worried minds and hearts , was ended by a small yet passionate kiss .
"Close your eyes "Arjun said as they departed .
"Why ? "She asked softly .
"Please close your eyes "he insisted and she obeyed him .
As she closed her eyes she felt something over it . She touched her eyes and felt a silk smooth cloth around it.
"What are doing ?"she asked as he helped her mount his bike .
"That's a surprise "he said much to her annoyance .
She hated surprises . She could never take suspense . She was always too curious and could never wait especially when someone says surprise . From when she was a little girl she did not like surprise . Even she hated surprise birthday parties .
But today her heart said to wait for the surprise as it would be worth waiting.
...
After, maybe half and hour of bike ride , the bike stopped and she jerked forward and her head banged with his back .
The ride was really a memorable one , Draupadi thought . Unlike their first time Arjun did not speed up and with her eyes closed she could not see anything and all her mind could concentrate was his touch . And with her holing him tight Arjun thought he would lose his way and maybe end up doing something unexpected ;)

He freed her eyes from the cloth and she opened lotus shaped eyes slowly and closed it again as bright light hit it .
She again opened her eyes this time looking at the man of her dreams whose eyes was fixed somewhere else .
Arjun looked at her and smiling pointed front . Draupadi moved her eyes from him looked around . She found themselves somewhere which seemed like a hill and they were standing in the edge of it . She looked down and found water thousand metres down . And then looked at front and found water everywhere . But the sight that mesmerised her was the sight of the setting sun . The sea was calm and sun was going to set . The sky had yellow and orange mixed colour whereas the lower part had tinge of red and orange . The sun was surrounded by a bright violet colour . The sea had mixed blue and orange colours .
The sight was a mesmerising one . It was as if all the colours were meeting at the same place mixing and colliding with each other .
She smiled and looked at Arjun .
"This sight is so beautiful "Draupadi said in an excited voice .
"Yup , but this is just the trailer the picture is left to come ."Arjun said confidently as she looked at him confused.
Slowly the sun disappeared and the place darkened a bit . The night fell very soon and both of the lovers witnessed the scene silently .
Slowly the sea calmed again and stayed still . All the colours that had decorated it ,had faded away and now the sea had dark blue over it . The mid part still had some orange colour left by the sun.
A faint whitish colour lined the sea . The moon slowly emerged and was half seen . From the back of the moon a bright light came and formed like a tail . The light moved in a rapid speed and then disappeared into the sky .
"This happens only once in every ten years "Arjun said . "This happened last in November ..."he suddenly stopped and cursed himself for forgetting the date .
"November 18th 2005 "she completed it for him . "I remember the day. Dad had driven Dhris ,me and my mom out of the city , far from city buss near the sea shore to see the sight . That's one of the best day of my life and the only memory that I have of my mother " she said with tears in her eyes .
Arjun looked at her ,' only memory of my mother 'this left his mind confused .
"My mother died when I was seven "Draupadi said sensing his confusion . "The memory that I have of that day is only memory that I have of my mother . I do not remember how she was or anything but just remember some vivid face . "As she said tears made down her eyes and touched her cheeks.
Arjun quickly wiped her tears and cupped her face in his hand . "I m really really sorry I never wanted to hurt u . I never knew that so much was related from your past with this day , I m really sorry "
"No no . Please do not be sorry arya . U did not hurt me . It is just that u made me remember the day which has great importance in my life and u added more importance to it . Till now this day reminded me what I lost but from today it will remind me what I have . You made this day just more special for me . Every time I will rememebr this day with all those vivid memories this wonderful memory will mark my mind "Draupadi said and when Arjun opened his mouth to say something she silenced him by her lips .
It was a gentle yet captivating one . Mesmerized lips press together time after time, transporting them to another world. Ragged breathing and dancing tongues brought a fiery heat to the cold ocean air. With just the two of them there, the rest of the world disappeared .
As their lips pulled apart, a gentle breeze fluttered over the flame extinguishinging the desperate heat. Their breathing came out in short, desperate gasps. The intensity had washed away. The rest of the world was slowly coming back into focus.
Arjun smiled faintly as he turned his eyes and attention away from from her lips . "Do u know there is a love story related here ? "He asked and Draupadi turned her gaze towards him shaking her head in no.
"Love story ?"
"Yes an ancient love story . Of the moon and the sea "
"Moon and sea ? What kind of love story ? " Draupadi asked curiously . Just take the name of story and she got excited and here he was talking about love story and to put cherry on top her love of life was telling the story .
"It is said that the sky god had a beautiful calm daughter , the moon who fell in love with the ocean god son the violent sea . They both were madly in love with each other but that was not acceptable by anyone . In order to separate them the moon was not allowed to come out in day time and the sea was locked up in a cage . But still till the date they try to meet each other . "He said pointing towards the sea . The sea now was violent and was swiftly moving in a high speed . The waves were moving high and it looked as though the sea was trying to touch the moon .
Arjun looked at Draupadi who has some water pearls in her eyes . "Are u crying ?" Arjun voice clearly showed astonishment .
"No I m not "Draupadi denied the truth quickly . "Anyways who knew that Mr cool dude would know such a romantic story "she said in order to distract him away from her current situation .
Arjun laughed at that . "I know the story because I had the story in my literature book when I was grade 5 "his laugh grew more as she gave a surprised look .
"Wow your school seems so interesting ! "She said shaking her head in disappointment .
"Leave about my school but please tell me why were u crying ?"he asked what she wished he wouldn't . She tried to avoid it but then blurted out the answer .
"The story looks so familiar . Though being always in front of each other can not be each others . Circumstances, well being for others separating two lovers . This story seems so much same Arya as if its the story of my life "
"What ? U know Panchali, u get easily carried away by stories ,especially romantic ones " Arjun said shaking his head in amusement .
"Whatever "Draupadi said helding her head high and giving him a warning look .
"God ! U r so much like a queen ! "Arjun laughed out as Draupadi kept on looking at him with firey eyes.
...
"You are really looking beautiful today "Arjun complimented as she stroked his hair . They were lying under a tree looking at the clear sky filled with stars . The sound of the sea reverted their ears .
"Tell me something I do not know "Draupadi said in a proud tone as she looked away from him .
Arjun gave a small laugh . She was still upset with him ! "Umm I love u "his reply came in a soft and attracting voice .
Draupadi heart danced with the words that just escaped his mouth and entered her ears . But then she was upset with him so she would play this game with him .
"Umm really ? "
"Swear my blood "he said pinching his neck .
"I do not believe u . Say in more appealing way "She said trying hard not to smile and act serious .
"How ?"
"I do not know . But tell it in a way that will make me believe that u love me ."
He sighed as he got up . He looked directly into her eyes . The lotus eyes were filled with emotions . Emotion of love , confusion , expectations and worries . He promised himself not to disappoint her this time . He took the guitar that was placed behind the tree and started to play a tune .
The tune of the guitar vibrated in her ears and sent a hundreds of emotions down her . After sometime he humbled a tune . Just the staring had such an effect on her , only god knows what would happen when he starts singing , she thought as her mind and her soul gave up slowly to his tunes .
Main pyar ton wadh tenu pyar karaan
Tenu sajda sohne lakh waar karaaan
[I love you more than love itself
I bow in front of you a lac times]
He started singing pouring his heart out .

Her ears took in the sound as her mind grabbed the lyrics . She could feel her heart already giving up to his words .
Main tere layi duniya nu chhaddeya
Tere layi door apne kare
[I have left the world for you
I have sent my closed ones away for you]
His words sent her thinking for his love once again . Did his love took his words ?

[The extent to which I love you,
You can not imagine ]
Draupadi smiled as she heard that . So he was blaming her that she did not understand his love for her ?
Akhiyaan ch har vele tera mukh ve

When I glance you, my all grief are destroyed]
Deed teri da eh najara na pyaas lagge te na lagge bhukh ve
[This is the effect of your glance, I feel neither hungry nor thirsty]
His words left her mesmerised . Did he love her so much ? All these question pooped into her mind but she did not know that today he would clear all her confusion and leave her question which doubted his love answered forever .

Supne vi jhidak ke main dharre
[I get no dreams without you
I have shrugged away my dreams]
He had no dreams without her . He dreamt for her without her leave the dreams he did not even have a life .
Zindagi de dite tenu saare hakk ve
Gairaan vall takea naa akh chak ve
[I have given you all the rights over my life
I didn't even glance at strangers]
Arjun today confessed that all the rights of him was now hers . And he promised her that he would never look at any strange women from now onwards .

Don't doubt my faithfullness]
His love was not any game or just attraction towards opposite sex and he wanted her to know that . Know that his love was real and honest enough that he would even dance in glass if he had to prove his love to her .

[Just to get you,
I have bored many wounds]
Her eyes filled up as she heard that . She now understood what she really meant to him . What an great importance she hold in his life .

As he finished the song not being to be controlled over her feelings , Draupadi quickly hugged Arjun almost making him fall down . He smiled as he invited her into his arms which was always opened for her. He softly wiped her tears and took in her lips .
His tongue swept out against her lips and she let him in, begged him in. He filled her mouth, stroking the most sensitive spots and retreating only to return. He pushed his tongue against the inside of her mouth loving the way her body tensed as the pressure increased.She moaned, putting her arms around his neck. He helped her, rocking her harder against his body. His hands came around her back, and Arjun tried to get all of her to press against him. He increased the pressure, cupping her chin with his hand. He moved his lips down her neck and behind her ear. Alternating between trailing hot kisses down her neck and blowing against the coolness his kisses left .
He continued to make a path of kisses across her forearm and all the way to the crook of her arm, and then turned upward, showering her skin in succulent kisses until he reached the top of her shoulder. He gave it an affectionate suck and his tongue rolled out along her skin. The sensation of his zealous breath drove a shiver through her body and she placed a hand on his shoulder to keep from falling down...
