PREVIOUS NOTE ABOUT REMOVING STORIES FROM IF
Important Note:
In the past few days, my threads were spanned with comments for the Important Note like they never had for any updates in all of my works posted here in India Forums. I came across with readers, both silent and new, dropping few words of understanding and supporting my decision of having a restricted blog, appreciating my work and just how much they like my writings, and of course, requesting access for the same.
When I made the decision, I was surrounded by few what if's and confusions, as to whom shall I give access to. I know all of my regular commenters, and so that will not be a problem but what stuck with me is the limited readers who actually see the passion and hard work that I, any writer in that matter, undergoes while working on a story. For them, I'll be eternally grateful.
If there is one thing that I abhor, for the lack of better word for what I feel, is silent reading. While I appreciate for giving my stories a chance, I fail to understand the whole concept of "liking" but not "commenting". This is virtual world where we writers don't make money out of our works, or any other form of luxury or fame. All we get in return is few kind words and the number of followers. So I like to have it as much as I can while I entertain you with my share of fill in this world.
With the first ever try in writing, I promised myself that I'll never demand for comments. And that I'll write for one such reader who really sees the story the way it is and appreciates both the story and its writer. Now, after a couple of years and few completed stories down the lane, I think it's only my right, the least I deserve, is to ask for comments, and to discourage "silent readers".
So after a lot of consideration and re-thinking over the matter, I came to a conclusion that I'll provide my blog links both in my Index and respective FF Threads with few conditions -
#1 - The blog can be accessible for all the readers for a couple of days so that they can be able to read all the parts posted till date, until I decide to restrict the access.
#2 - I believe in fair game so, this is, in utmost dramatic way, the final call for all the "silent readers" out there. I ask you either like and comment on each update of the FFs, or, provide a detailed analysis of what you like and dislike about plot and its characters, if you like me to consider you as a "potential reader".
#3 - As a writer, I've every right to make calls on my stories. By my calls, I mean, to whom I shall provide access to, and whom shall I restrict. Once the blog is made for restricted readers, no amount of PMing or EMAILing will help consider providing access to those who are not a part of that final list.
#4 - I never demanded for certain number of likes and comments in order to post the next update. That isn't me. But I do wish for these likes and comments to be of around same digits. I'd be disappointed if I get 100 likes but just around 30 comments. That doesn't make sense, given all the time and energy consuming, hard work and passion, sweat and blood in its purest form, it takes for me to work on each of its updates. Now, I'm compelled to for my own happiness and satisfaction. That simply meant, comments are now mandatory.
#5 - By comments, I don't mean "update soon", "short update", "missing ArShi", "nice one. Continue soon". If you appreciate a story, really find it worth reading, the least you can to show you do is by sharing your views and opinions. You don't need to be an expert in a language or be poetic in your comments. So, please comment if you find it interesting, or stop reading. My apologies for being rude but the time for modesty is long gone.
#6 - Last, but nothing new here. None of stories are ever based of main leads. In fact, I have more number of main leads than that of supporting characters. So, do not ask for a specific scene or expect most of the parts shall be based on a particular couple. I understand if you are not interested in reading about others, except for Arnav and Khushi. I really do. Please feel free to stop reading if that is the case.
#7 - Once the blog is restricted, I'll filter the readers list or followers list for every three updates and those who fail to comment on three successive updates will not have any future accessibility to the blogs.
With everything said and done, the blogs for Celestial Moon and Stay Here Tonight will be open for a week starting from now. That is, I might make it a restricted blog on March 12, 2016. Those who comments on the respective blogs as mentioned above will have an access for future updates. Rest, be assured that this week is your last to read and re-read the FF available so far.
PS: Nobody's Wife is under construction and I'll provide you the link for the same on/by March 12, 2016. So, you all still have a week's time to reserve your seats.
PPS: Deja Vu shall remain in India Forums and no blog will be made for the same.
Thanks and Regards,
V
