Chapter 29

Next morning, as usual Sanyu got up first and started making breakfast. she was so bored that she had decided that all of them will be having corn flakes and tropicana orange juice. To her hard luck, neither the juice was there, nor cornflakes. But she remembered that Kastuki had stocked the grocery, so she brought out a ladder and started climbing on it to take the cornflakes from the top most shelf where they usually keep the provision items which is in excess. She was rummaging the box where they had stored the items and finally found cornflakes and was climbing down. She was 2 feet above the ground, and she slipped from the ladder. She closed her eyes tightly to kiss the surface, which never happened as there was someone who had caught her right in time.

She started screaming "Chor chor" once she realised that she was in someone's arms. Soon her mouth was covered with the other person's hand and he spoke loudly "Kyun hamesha chillathi rehti ho yaar". Sanyukta recognised the voice and slowly opened her eyes to meet the beautiful and attractive orbs of Randhir.

Sanyu: R..ra..randhir?

Randhir: mein hi hoon.

Sanyu: Sorry mujhe yaad nahi tha ki tum yahi ho. I thought some thief came.

Randhir: Hahahahaha

Sanyu: Hass kyu rahe ho?

Randhir: India mein subah ki 7 baje thief aata hai kya?

Sanyu: Arey! Koi timing hai kya ki thief 7 baje nahi aa sakta?

Randhir: tum na... chodo

Sanyu: tume hi chodna hai mujhe!

Randhir: Kabhi nahi!

Sanyu: Kya?

Randhir: Matlab tum kabhi nahi sudhregi!

With that Randhir made her stand properly and left her hands.

Randhir: Waise tum bandar ki tarah upar kya kar rahi thi?

Sanyu: Bandar? Tum ne mujhe bandar kaha?

Randhir: As far as I remember yes. Did you hear something else?

Sanyu started hitting him with her hands and soon realised that she was hurting her hands only.

Sanyu: Kya yaar itna hard kyun hai tumhare chest?

Randhir burst out laughing hearing her question.

Sanyu: arey phir se hass rahe ho? Parth aur bhai ka chest tho itna hard nahi hai!

Hearing Parth's name, Randhir stopped laughing. He started going out of the kitchen, when she held his wrist and stopped him.

Sanyu(innocently): Compare karne se bhura laga? How will I know how a boy's chest will be? Sorry na!

How could Randhir be angry with her for long when she questions him so innocently. He chuckled and she smiled. But she didn't forget that he called her a monkey and so started throwing things at him - spoon, tumbler, etc. She even threw the cornflakes cover on him. But he was an action king and could easily defend himself. She became tired and sat down on the floor.

Randhir: Ho gaya?

Sanyu: Haan. Am tired!

Randhir: Girl you need a lot of stamina to fight with me. Am an actor darling and have done only action films.

Sanyu: Don't darling me! Isliye itna hard chest hai kya?

Randhir(laughing): Nahi! Woh tho mein ladikiyo ko impress karne ke liya kiya hai! Tum bhi check out kar rahi ho

Sanyu: Kya? Mein kyun karoongi! Meine kaha na mera hai ek ladka!

Randhir: Kaun?

Sanyu: Tell me about your love and I will tell mine. Time kya hai?

Randhir(checked his watch): Hmmm 8:30

Sanyu: Kya?? Oh god aaj late ho jaaungi aur Jij se daant khani padegi.Yeh sab tumhare waje se hua hai. So you will drop me at office. Got it?

Saying this she immediately rushed out of the kitchen leaving Randhir totally amused. "Pagal" He got up and kept all the things in its place and went to get ready!

After about an hour she came out to see JiKi talking and having breakfast, while Randhir was reading the newspaper. Soon she came and started having her breakfast. Within 10 minutes she had finished eating and asked Jiggy and Randhir to start. Just as Randhir heard her voice, he looked up to see her in a simple black and pink salwar with dupatta hanging on one side of her shuolder, her hair was neatly binded into a clutch and she had lined her eye with black khol. He came out of his world only when Jiggy tossed his tie on him. Soon all of them left for work.

At work Randhir and Jiggy were busy with their project sketches and designs while, Sanyu was busy with her files. She had to deal with various tenders and quotations which the company was dealing with. Her team completely cooperated with her and gave her the required details.

It was lunch time, when she heard a knock on her door. "come in". She looked up to see Vikrant and Kajal standing there. She immediately closed her file and came up to them beaming and stretched out her arms to engulf them into a hug.

Sanyu: What are you guys doing here? School nahi hai kya?

Kajal: You are leaving us and going somewhere?

Sanyu: Nahi tho. Am gonna be here only.

Vikrant: Then papa ne kyun kaha ki Mumbai mein Sanyu has to be careful.

Sanyu: acha woh. Haan I should go to Mumbai. Kaam hai.

Kajal: who will teach us dance and acting then?

Sanyu: Parth haina! He will teach you.

Vikrant: aur acting? We have annual day coming up at school maasi.

Sanyu: Hmmm kab hai audition?

Kajal: Next week. Thursday!

Sanyu: I will not be here baby!

Vikrant: Haan. Ab gadbad na!

Sanyu: What are you guys doing?

Kajal: I want to do sita role. Vikrant: aur mujhe Kans ka role

Sanyu: Both of you are in plays?

Kajal: Nahi am in dance drama and he's in drama alone.

Sanyu: Hmmm.. teeke tho aaj se hum practice kare? Its for audition right. Tho I will teach you guys dancing. Aur acting hmm Randhir will teach you Ok?

Vikrant, kajal : Yay!! Love you maasi!

Sanyu: Did you guys have lunch?

Vikrant, kajal: nahi. Aap khilao na.

She immediately called her PA to bring lunch for her, also for the kids. She then called Jiggy and Randhir's room to call them for lunch. Randhir alone came to her room. He saw her playing with the kids while feeding them. He was lost in her again. Sanyu noticed him suddenly and asked "When did you come? Jiggy?"

Randhir: A while ago. Was seeing what you were doing. And Jiggy has gone for a date'

Vikrant, kajal: Ajao chachu lets play

Randhir: You don't wanna eat. Mujhe bhi bhook lagi hai!

Kajal: Tho kya, maasi will feed you like she's doing for us.

SanDhir: Kya?

Vikrant: Kya timing hai boss. Kyun maasi you wont help him?

Kajal: Please maasi

Sanyu: hmm ok ok.

Randhir was in cloud nine, but he didn't show it. Soon Sanyukta started feeding the 3 of them, while Randhir was playing with the kids. Vardhan had come to Sanyu's room for something important, but seeing the sight in front of him just two words came to his mind "Perfect family". He smirked and cleared his throat. All the four of them froze at their places hearing the sound.

They all turned around to see a stern faced man. He gazed everyone the same way and the four of them hung their heads low as though they had committed a huge crime. Vardhan burst out laghing seeing their reactions and came inside the room and picked up the kids in his hands. "What are you guys doing here?"

Vikrant: we came to meet maasi.

Kajal: It was lunch time, so chachu bhi aagaye. Haina?

SanDhir: Haan!

Vardhan: Intersting. Very intersting. Hmmm Miss.Aggarwal and Mr.Shekawat please come to my cabin after finishing your lunch. Inform Mr.Patel as well. Kiddos chalo ghar chalo. Mamma is waiting for you guys.

The kids bade good bye to SanDHir by kissing their cheeks and left Sanyu's cabin along with Vardhan. Randhir asked Sanyukta to finish her lunch while he informed Jiggy about the meeting. In about 20 minutes, SanDhir and Jiggy went to meet Vardhan in his cabin. They knocked and waited for the acknowledgement and once they got it they entered the room.
