CHAPTER : 33

A SEARCH WORTH A SEARCH?

Guts of read dust were swirling all around. Panchi could hardly dare to open her eyes but she could feel the temperature around, rise. Paarth could feel the heat surpass his body's limits. He quickly shouted to ask them "What is it? What is it? What's this red dust, flying all around?". "It is not dust Paarth! They are ashes. Ashes of the Phoenix's wings! It is living the last moments of his life! It is dying!" Panchi was quick in replying. "Ashes! We are stuck between a storm of ashes!" Paarth said, much of his was clearly visible in his voice."Panchi! We need to save it! We cannot let it die!" Govind shouted. "No Govind! It has to die! It's his destiny. Every five hundred years, it dies! Then rises from it's own ashes!" She replied with a tear escaping her eye. A cry roared around in the air as the Phoenix breathed it's last and collapsed on the land. Crying her emotions out, Panchi towards the majestic creature! Then sitting near it, she caressed it's flame wings, which were now disappearing. Athe Phoenix closed it's eyes, Panchi's heart cried out and she said to deep pain "Sleep well my friend!".

"What is it Vrushali bhabhi?" Nakul asked. "Whatever it is Nakul, it is not good!" she replied. "I was searching about that temple of Japan. And I came to know that, the temple, in itself, is a huge maze complex. It is known to house a strong maze in it's interiors. In the center of that maze rests the disk of fire, but before you reach it, you are tested with the most fierce tests known to humanity. Not physical but emotional, mental. The capability to tame fire is not easy to gain. I hope that Panchi is able to control it." she added. "What kinds of tests?" Vasusen asked anxiously. "I have no idea. But, whatever it is, it is definitely not easy enough!" Vrushali told him with fear resting deep in her heart. "Do you think we should inform them?" Bheem asked. "No Bheem! I have faith on Panchi! She is strong enough to have control in her emotions! She will not fail!" Vrushali said with pride. "But what if is does fail?" Dhrishtradyumna asked in despair. "She won't!" Vrushali said again. "I have only my sister to lose! And if that happens Vrushali, I promise you shall meet the worst fate on this Earth!" Dhrishtradyumna warned all of them. "You are warning us. O' Dhrishtradyumna! Don't lose your senses! Remember that we are working together for the quest!" Sahdev shouted. "Yes Sahdev! For the quest! But this quest does not matter more than my sister's life! I warn you again! If Panchi is touched by atrocities, I shall put an end to this quest! This quest is not important to me, my sister is!" He declared again.

"A fight between the fantastics! Now that is interesting! This Dhrishtradyumna surely can be a helper to us!" Bhanumati said schemingly. "Wiat! Do you mean..." Shakuni too understood her plans. "No! Not now!" she said. "Let the iron get hot enough to melt. Hammering it then will shatter it into two pieces, which we never be able to merge again!" She added to her words, with a smirk. "What about Duryodhan and Dushshasan?" she asked Shakuni. "They are following the four of them. Duryodhan told that some creature died in front of the temple. The are grieving on that. Fools!" Shakuni said with absolute disgust. "Good for us! We have to make sure that Panchi never returns alive! Oh yes! Then their group will surely divide! And divide and rule is what I believe on!" she said darting the marker on the board with Panchi's picture in the center. The marker hits her image.

"I is time Iravan!" Ulupi said. "Panchi is not here!" she added. "The best time to implement the second plan is here!" she told him. "Yes! It is time we set upon the reemergence of the treasure. Without Panchi around, we are free to have control of situations in our hands!" Iravan replied. "Wait! Others are here! What about them?" Ulupi asked. "Don't worry about them! Without the queen around, the generals are listless. They will not prove to be a big challenge." he said laughing. "Iravan! I fear the treasure has hugely large power stored. Reopening it can lead to serious consequences." Ulupi said with great fear in her voice. "Don't worry! I have plans in mind. As they say 'Warth for others, victory for me'!". he replied with a smirk.

As you all know, lately I have not been able to update regularly. But now, I am free to update almost daily. So I will try my best. But on Sundays, it is a day for the update for another FF of mine. So no updates on Sundays.
