I thought to write a story on RagNa here and I hope you all like it!!😳
Prologue
"Hello Shello!" Raghav hollered peeking around the door. Kalpana turned around in her chair and looked at the man standing in front of her. He was dressed in total Punjabi Clothing.
"Sadi aj interview hai thade saath!" Raghav said eagerly. (I have an interview with you)
Kalpana sighed and picked up his file. "Come sit" she ordered. "Hanji bilkul" Raghav said quickly sitting down on a couch placed across the room. "What is this!" Kalpana said angrily. "Mein beitha hi hoon" Raghav yelled across the room. (I am sitting) Kalpana raised an eyebrow and said, "For goodness sake speak English and come sit here right in front of me!"
Raghav shook his head and came forward to sit right before her. "I felt that we should always stick with our own language" he said more professionally.
"And so you also dressed according to this illogical mentality of yours?" Kalpana asked him. "Well.." Raghav said. "Anyways Mr. Singhania" Kalpana said. "This is not your Punjab, it is Mumbai and in this company you need to dress and talk accordingly." "Got that?" she asked pointing her finger at him. Raghav nodded silently. "It seems that you have been a top student in college though it does not look like it by your actions" Kalpana said coldly. "Don't worry I'll be professional" Raghav replied. "Good! And now tell me..your father Mr. Singhania has such a huge business so why should you want to join Jadhav Group of Industries?" Kalpana asked curiously. "I want to be known as Raghav Singhania and not my daddy's boy" Raghav replied. "Or shall I say that both companies are rivals and so your dad has sent you to spy on us!" Kalpana said sharply. Raghav opened his mouth to speak. "Just shut up!" Kalpana snapped. "Why would a son instead of supporting his father in his work suddenly come to work in his father's rival company!" "No Kalpana Ji, you are totally wrong!" Raghav tried to say. Kalpana held up a hand. "Look Mr. Singhania I do not need to take risks. You are the son of my rival and so you become my enemy automatically." Raghav threw his head back and started laughing.
"What?" Kalpana asked him. "Tussi darr gaye aa" Raghav replied grinning. (You are scared) "Kalpana Jadhav fears no one!" Kalpana said her face burning at the remark. "Fine you're hired!" she said in a haste.
"Thought so!" Raghav said. He brought his hand in front of his face in a salaam and walked out of the cabin.
Kalpana stood up and turned around to face a large portrait of a woman with a huge flowered necklace hung around it. She clenched her fist and said, "Ma, I will fulfill my Ek Mutthi Aasman even if it makes me lose all emotion and love and become a heartless woman." She leaned against her mother's portrait and closed her eyes.
