Khushi opened her eyes. She felt little weak even now . She tried to get up but found her hand stuck somewhere. She turned around and saw her hand holding Arnav's who was sleeping next to her and that too so close. She was astonished. They slept in this position? And when did he come? He had gone for a night out, didnt he? And was not supposed to come back so soon. Or may be, he finished his playboy responsibilities a bit early and returned back home fearing she will let the family know where he was. The thought of Arnav spending a night like this with some other girl made her very much weak . She removed her hand away from him and then started her day. She cannot show him she was affected. He will be more than happy to know that. She had kept masking her emotions , her feelings towards this man since long and she will keep doing that because he was not worth her.

He didnt find her on bed which made him restless. She was sick last night then how can she still wake up early? Where was she? He came down and found her arranging the plates for breakfast at the Dinning Table.

Arnav: How's your fever?

Khushi: How was your night out?

She didnt meet his eyes and kept doing her work.

Arnav: I asked something first. Reply that.

She remained quiet. Arnav was enraged. He forcefully touched her forehead if she still had temperature. She moved away.

Khushi: Dont touch me Arnav. Dont you have some shame? After cheating this relationship between us, you still have the audacity to know if my health is good or bad?

Arnav: Khushi stop it. Dont mix up things here. I came ba..

Khushi: I dont want any explanations. You get that? Just leave me alone.

Suddenly both heard Anjali coming towards them. They became quiet. Anjali felt Arnav and Khushi were having some argument.

Anjali: chotte? You didnt go to Simla?? Hari prakash told me , you came back at night. Khushi you know how much CHotte cares for you ? He happened to call me last night , I guess he was on way to Simla. The first thing he did was ask me about you. And when I told him you had fever and were resting, he cancelled everything and came back. Chotte, didnt you believe we can take good care of your wife?

Whatever Anjali said was hard to believe for Khushi. He came back for her? That means he didnt spend his night out with any other girl ?SHe didnt speak anything but left in the Kitchen to get the breakfast.

Anjali: How is Khushi's fever now? Did you check?

Arnav: No di. She is not allowing me to check. When I woke up and didnt find her in the room, I came here to see if she was fine.

Anjali: SHe never misses her daily responsibilities. You know Chotte, I think you should take her out somewhere . I mean you guys cancelled going to Honeymoon because you had work. But I think if you are planning any such business trip, even to Simla, just take her with you. She is your newly wed wife. She has all rights to miss her husband, doesnt she?

Arnav was struck dumb having no words to speak.

Arnav: DI, I will think about this.

Anjali left for doing her Puja and Arnav saw Khushi coming back to the DInning table with the bowls. He tried to assist her with arranging this but she denied.

Khushi: Arnav stop it .I dont need your help.

Arnav: You are not fully recovered yet. Whats the need of doing all this. Leave it and get back in the room.

Khushi: Why do you care?

Arnav: Because I am your bloody husband!!

His pitch became high suddenly because Khushi was not coperating with him.

Khushi: Husband? Ohh really Arnav? We both know this marriage means nothing to us. It was our ego's which led us both here.

Arnav: You want to fight with me early morning? I wont stop. But not here. Lets have some decency and take this fight forward in our room. Come.

He purposely dragged her to the bedroom. She was denying him. She was asking him to leave her so that she can work but he didnt wanted to leave this matter unfinished. They came back to their room and then he locked the door after leaving Khushi's hand.

Arnav: Continue now.

Khushi: Enough of this conversation Arnav. I dont wish to spoil my mood early morning.

Arnav: Spoil mood? Khushi you have spoiled all my plans I had for last night. What about that ? I left everything there and came back for you.. !

Khushi: Then who asked you to come back? I didnt. I never even stopped you from enjoying because I know men like you never change. If a wife doesnt accept this quality of her husband, he starts showing two faces. He behaves an honest husband at home and still keeps such flings outside. I dont want that to happen with me. So I didnt stop you Arnav. Just keep being a playboy and sleep with girls. I dont care.

He gripped her hands drawing her close.

Arnav: Dont lie to me Khushi. You do care. You always did. And last night when I left, you were so upset, so worried that you kept crying in this room, became tensed and then fell sick. What was all that then?

Khushi: You think I give so much importance to you Arnav?

Arnav: Yes Khushi. You do. Even if you wont accept it right now, some day you will. Since the time I have married you, I never looked into having such pleasures from anyone else. Even last night when that girl was so close to me, I just pushed her back and left the place. Since the time we kissed, all I do at office is hallucinate you kissing me again? What is that suppose to mean? I dont care how much importance you give me, but one thing is clear now. I dont want to touch any other girl. Thats my state.

This confession made Khushi unable to articulate anything further. She kept looking at his face.

Arnav: Yea I know I am sounding like an idiot to you now. I too felt the same when I realised what I did last night. I mean who will leave such a nice opportunity and come back to his sick wife? But when I saw you here on bed, with some tear stains on your face, your dry lips, your warm body, I forgot everything and thats the moment when I felt my heart beating loudly in my ears and telling me that whatever I did was right. I am not supposed to touch anyone else.

Khushi: Wow. Did you put any bet with that stupid friend of yours? Jas? To show him what you couldnt do in the college , you will do now and prove yourself manly Arnav?

Arnav: What? You think I am making Stories here? Dammit ! WHatever I said is all true.

Khushi: True? A man who always kept lieing to his family about his character is now asking his wife to believe him? I am not a fool Arnav? I cannot trust you AGAIN.

She left the room because she had no plans to keep listening lies from him. Arnav angrily brushed his hand in his hair thinking why was she arrogant? But suddenly he recollected her last sentence. "I cannot trust you AGAIN"? WHat is that suppose to mean? DId she ever trust him before? No , it cant be. She always hated him. And you cannot trust a person you hate. Then why did she say that? Did she actually trust him anytime and he broke her trust? Was she hiding something? He had to find out. But he knew Khushi will never agree anything so easily. So he will have to find these answers the other way.

Arnav: Come on Simran, I have to meet you okay. I know only you can help me.

Simran: What is so urgent that you want to meet me? And that too hiding from Khushi? I hope your intentions are good Arnav.

Arnav: Shut up Simran. Just see me at office today afternoon.

Simran: Okay. I will come. Bye.

Arnav cut the call. Whatever doubts he had regarding their past, today Arnav thought of clearing it with Simran . He wanted to know what trust Khushi was talking about today .

He had just finished his shower and was back in the room wiping his head when his phone started ringing. It was Jas's call. He picked it.

Jas: Hey ? Good Morning. Why didnt you answer my calls last night? Did anything happen at home? WHy did you leave so suddenly? Is everything good there?

Arnav: Yea Jas. All is well now. Khushi was sick . Now she is better.

Jas: Ohh. You know I was left out alone amidst those girls last night. But it was fun man. You should have been there. Anyways, we can make it happen again. What about tonight? You want me to book such a party again today?

Arnav was frustrated

Arnav: Stop it Jas. Dont you have any other work than arranging parties like this? I am not interested . I dont know about you , but I am surely not going to entertain such flirting now. Its enough yaar. Dont you think we should concentrate on what we have?

Jas: What? You are saying that? A playboy?

Arnav: Yes I am saying that Jas. Everyone is responsible for his actions .I think its high time I understand whats mine. So next time you call me and talk about such indecent partying, I am going to cut off everything we have between us.

He cut the call and threw the phone on bed. He looked at the mirror to finish his head wiping but saw Khushi standing at the door . SHe was hearing his conversation. He turned around . She stepped in.

Khushi: Am I dreaming this or is it happening real? Arnav SIngh Raizada is asking his friend Jas to stop coaxing him from enjoying his playboy nature? Who was sick last night? You or me? I think my fever has got transferred into you. Thats why such a huge change.

Arnav: Well. At least you realising I am changing. Thats enough at the moment.

Khushi: Ohh Arnav. I told you I am not a fool. I know your nature. You are and you will be like this forever. You cannot change. All this challenge of becoming a saint from a playboy will not last longer. In few days, I might see you flirting again. So I am not keeping much hopes from you.

Arnav moved towards her. His eyes passionately looking in her eyes. His body language made her feel uneasy and hence she stepped behind. He pinned her very decently to the wall behind , ensuring he doesnt touch her at all.

Arnav: You are right. Very soon, I am going to flirt again. Very soon I am going to show my urge to touch a girl again. Very soon, I am going to Kiss a girl again. And you know what will happen after that Kiss?

Khushi moved her head aside.

Khushi: I dont want to know.

Arnav pulled her chin back making her meet his eyes.

Arnav: After that kiss, I am going to lay that girl on my bed and break my V******* with her. Because she is the only girl who really owns that. You want to know who she is?

Khushi: I dont.

Anger seemed to rising in her body.

Arnav: She is here, in this room, just behind me. See her carefully Khushi and give her my wishes till I get dressed in the bathroom. Okay?

He left and the moment he moved, Khushi saw herself in the mirror. He said she was standing behind him. So he meant the girl was her? His wife?
