she turned to the other side of the bed closing her eyes as the worried voices of swayams mom and her naanima came in to give her food ..disturbing her - she just wished they would go and felt guilty for thinking of their concern like that

And rey irritated kriya continuously till she snapped at him to grow up and act mature atleast sometime in his life
he had avoided kriya the whole time spoiling their date successfully and getting her worried and irritated.

Taani got up sometime in the early part of the morning or late part of the night, she was sweating- they had given her medicine .she smiled not the correct drug though, him she would never get..she got up went to the washroom freshened up and came out ...there was a glass of milk that she hadn't drunk ..smiling thinking of her grandmom, she drank it up feeling like the good girl that they always expected her to be. She was feeling better after lying on the bed without doing anything for 24 hours
Tho now what? she asked herself looking at the mirror , taking in her puffed up red eyes and swollen face maine itna roya? Rey aapse milna meri zindagi ki sabse badi misfortune thi...she complained half seriously..dekho ab meri haalat..maybe yeh chehra dikhaao tho vishesh mana kardenge shaadi karne keliye! She thought hopefully and smiled at her own hopes
Aur mana karenge tho kya? Tum rey ke paas jaaogi? Her heart leapt up for a second and she remembered him saying once he gets settled they would get married- she laughed, she was such a kid then, come to think of it he was foolish too to plant hopes in her. nahin taani foolish nahin, tum dono hi serious the..agar sab teek hua hota tho ...she had a hazy picture of rey in his vest at the dinner table and she serving him she shook her head to clear it
Aaj na rey mujhe sahin maayne mein samaj aaraha hain ki jab aapne kahaan ki aap kuch incomplete sa feel kar rahe ho tab aapko kaisa laga tha...ab dekho sab kuch teek hain meri life mein and phir bhi itna adhoora adhoora lagrahaan hain.
She went to stand at the window and stared out at the garden- heard him telling her with tears in his eyes - i feel incomplete without you taani- it was dark still, she sighed..agar unhe pata chalega ki main abh unke baare mein yeh sab soch rahin hoon tho kya kahenge...go for your dreams, dont give up, be happy , be smiling .. thats what he would say always to everyone

of course he s right, the rey fan in her spoke up life ki har stage mein theres a new dream, if one goes another has to take its place..she sighed

And she had a strong urge to see him once- mere paas aapka kuch bhi nahin hain ab, jo rey corner tha wo bas ab mere dil mein hi bandh hain ... her eyes fell on the mobile and laptop on the table"internet! She hesitated but then unable to stop herself opened the laptop and started searching for d3 dance shows and academy website for news and anything related to them and watched lying down ulta on the bed
shayad yehi galthi thi meri,ki maine unko itna completely shut off kardiya...she watched a few group performances , some teaching videos they had online...some new people..watched and watched not realising the time... she watched the whole gang sometimes all of them , sometimes in pairs , sometimes some missing and admired their friendship- they had stuck it out and they would continue to be together- they all shared a common passion - dance"after a long time it didnt make her feel bad , she smiled - she had a life of her own too , she didnt need to belong to them anymore but...REY...that was a different case all together
and finally happened to catch a solo of his -it impressed her like everytime before making her smile , she paused at a point and ran a thumb over his profile on the screen wanting to feel him - she zoomed on the face - he was facing the camera and seemed to be looking at her- joy of his dance on his face ...be happy sweetheart she heard his voice telling her...she smiled back at him involuntarily , her heart whispering - i will rey - and feeling a wonderful sense of calm after the turmoil that she had faced since two days...she heard a single voice from inside her she had to go ahead with her life, she had to let him go.. for herself
she zoomed back...the dance continued and at the end the rest of the team came in on stage hi fi ing and hugging each other, she paused again and zoomed in to catch a clearer view of rey giving kriya a quick hug with a satisfied smile ...she stared at them for a second and another reality hit her- he had a life apart from her too ...just like her
She got up from the bed and stared out of the window- it was becoming light- feeling better about her decision ... he was happy and truthfully she had been happy too till two days back. they had never been good foreach other- no that wasn't true- she had learnt a lot from him and he had been so happy with her- but ...maybe they just hadn't handled circumstances well...but that was the past... as of now mujhe kuch bhi change karne ki himmat nahin hain mujhme.. maybe a second hand borrowed happiness but there was no point spoiling any happiness...least of all reys and her own
She had to let him go for his sake too.
she wiped her eyes of the remaining tears and took a deep breath and turned to face her reflection- ok, now what? back to life taani...mera mobile kahaan hain she looked around for the mobile and switched it on...a hoard of msg and missed calls hit her back to life taani...she looked at all the congrajulatory messages - vishesh hadn't sent any message however- itna granted nahin lasakthi unhe taani and sent a msg to vishesh- sorry vishesh, do din se avoid kiya baat karna, call back asap.
And left a msg to swayam im coming tomorrow...she looked back at her laptop screen and ran finger on reys profile again and closed it.
And started booking a her tickets to Mumbai- ek baar unse milna tho hain and didnt feel guilty as her heart leapt up in excitement at the thought of seeing him again which stayed till she had had her conversation with him two days later

And then rey told SS/K he had been feeling something wrong the past 3 days which stayed till he had had his conversation with her two days later and he felt freed

Reys side -Academy office- two three days after taani and rey met - late in the evening.
loud voices reached the practice rooms "...i dont get it, whats the problem kriya? Achanak se tumhe shaadi mein nahi jaana hain? "
"rey i dont want to go bas..and ive been saying this- i dont even know her"
"of course u know her..maine bataya tho tha uske baare mein and Im sure usse bura lagega"
Laugh," i dont think so..rey aap mujhe akela chod do bas , main nahin aanewaali.."
He moved closer and attempted to hold her hand- she moved away ," kya hua hain tumhe? achanak se practice bhi stop kiya " she had stopped her usual practice with him abruptly
"what the hell rey!mujhe kuch nahin hua... yeh aap khudh se poochlo ki aapko hua kya hain..mera mood nahin hain bas " she snapped at an edge
"what nonsense? do din pehle tak tho teek thi, ab kya hua tumhaare mood ko?" sarcasm creeping in
"kyun sirf aapki mood up aur down ho saktha hain mera nahin? aapko nahin lagtha ki aap kuch zyaada hi selfish banrahen ho ? Aur main kyun aapki mood ki hisaaf se behave karoon? Mujhe jo karna hain mujhe karne do..." she shot back talking senselessly .. he looked at her perplexed at her suddenly changing expressions," dont take me for granted .."
"granted ?? main tumhe granted letha hoon? " rey laughed suddenly, mirthlessly," agar main tumhe granted letha tho everytime tumhaare saath discuss karke kaam nahin kartha, i dont decide for you kriya.." he ended sharply making her look a little apologetic
Rey pulled her hand in his and said," ive made one big mistake in my life kriya taking someone for granted, trying to decide whats good for her and whats not..." he shook his head thinking of taani ," main kabhi wo galthi nahin karoonga...i ll never do that with you" talking more to himself than her- kriya realised
And kriya was torn between trying to understand his point of view, his feelings and her own sudden disappointment that there was a huge part of him that didnt belong to her at all. She stared at him with a disappointed expression- she had never expected such a deep seated effect of anyone on rey- he had always seemed so easy going. Kriya, Pata tho tha tumhe uske baare mein, haan par yeh nahin pata tha ki itna ...important hain..ki wo puraani baat nahin old girlfriend nahin kuch aur hain, kuch zyaada ...and looked at him equally hopefull and doubtful
...rey suddenly had had another glimpse of taani s shocked face when he told her about the fake break up"kriya s heart sank- he still was somewhere where she wasn't important where she wasn't even present -she pulled her hands away from his and turned away to clear her thoughts- her secure small world had suddenly shattered
He came back to the current world as she pulled her hands away and sensed her upset and pulled her towards himself- her hands in his , he said," kriya i m sorry agar maine kuch stupidly behave kiya hain ..ive just had some really bad days and i dont know why..."She wondered if he really didnt know why she was upset ," sorry " she half smiled uneasily," but..."
" but im not coming for the wedding" she spoke up before he could say anything else
"kyun?" sharon s voice came in..Kriya and rey turned to see SS walking in and moved slightly apart," why kriya?"
"wahin tho sharon, kriya ko lagtha hain ki wo taani ko teek se nahin jaanthi so she doesn't want to come.." rey answered
Swayam looked at kriya who was looking at rey her face full of confusion and suddenly wanted to hit rey i should have expected this, kriya s not dumb - " kriya " he called making kriya turn to himself," look i understand" and kriya met his eye for a second and realisisng that she would get caught , turned away to see Sharon," but tum mere liye tho aasakthi ho na..meri behen ki shaadi mein" his voice strong and persuasive . she looked back at him and found some solace- and unable to anyway refuse swayam- nodded.
Sharon gave her a quick hug saying -" we need the break kriya aur waise bhi i need you there, main akeli kaise iski family ko face karoongi? " Rey smiled happily and as he turned to swayam caught swayams almost angry look at him and lifted his eyebrows questioningly..swayam opened his mouth but then shook his head- wait karke dekhthe hain, waise bhi shaadi tho do din mein hojaayegi maybe things ll just settle down by themselves- thinking hopefully
