Arnav: You have put on some weight than before. Is it from Aarav's birth?

Khushi: I am glad you noticed this difference.

Arnav stopped at the door but didnt place her down yet . He just stared at her face.

Arnav: There are hell many things I have noticed this time in you Khushi.. Only if I can detail each one of them before you someday.

Was he scaring her by his over cheesy and romantic talks? She was controlling hard not to blush but seemed impossible because her husband was no longer the same like before. She will have to go through a tough time if he keeps this changed attitude forever henceforth.

Khushi: Put me down now. We have reached the room.

Arnav: Eager?

Khushi was very shy. She didnt know on what context he just asked her that.

Khushi: For?

Arnav: To see whats in?

Khushi: I know whats in. A decorated Bedroom or a lighted poolside.

Arnav: Thats all you know about your husband?

Their talk was getting interesting especially because she was still been carried in his arms and she was holding his shoulders for support.

Khushi: My Ex husband Arnav was capable of all that I said. Now if my present husband can do more this time, then I am waiting to know. Now put me down. How will I see otherwise?

Arnav: What will I get?

He was demanding like a kid these days unlike before.

Khushi: What do you want?

She cross questioned him just to know what he might want for this surprise.

Arnav: You know what I want Khushi.

She felt shivers in her spine as he replied. She knew? What did she knew? She didnt want to make guesses because her guess of what he wanted in return was creating plenty of Goosebumps on her skin. He could feel the change in her expressions. He thought of ending her guess work.

Arnav: Jalebi. I want to eat Jalebi. You are too good in making that, arent you?

Her heart skipped a beat knowing what he wanted because she was expecting all other types of demands from him. Somewhere she knew he just changed the demand and he knew she guessed what he wanted from her.

Khushi: Sweets arent allowed to you. I havnt forgot that.

Arnav: One wont harm.

She had not even agreed that they both heard Aarav clapping his hands seeing his Mumma been carried by his Dad in arms. Khushi felt uncomfortable. She started struggling to get down but Arnav didnt do it.

Aarav: Mumma, why is dad carrying you?

Khushi had no reply.

Arnav: Champ. Your mumma is tired. So I am taking her for some rest inside.

Aarav: Yehh . I will come in too.

He pushed the door open to get in whereas Arnav and Khushi kept looking at each others faces. Not that they needed privacy but both somewhere had started guessing their coming days would be the same. They were no more a newly married honeymooning couple. They had a 5 year old son who was not much innocent.

He took her in and what she saw after that was more than enough to bring a smile on her face. When they were married 5 years back she had painted their picture together on a canvas and the same was now framed and hung on the wall opposite to their bed. He allowed her to get down now .AArav was busy at the poolside. He had never seen an in-built pool in bedroom. Khushi went straight to that painting and touched it. She had memories of the old days when she took almost a week to finish this painting of hers and Arnav.

Arnav: Kuch Yaad aaya? So how much are you rating me as a good husband on a scale of 10?

Khushi: 5.

Arnav: What? Just 5? This is the best painting of yours Khushi which you always wanted to hang here.

Khushi: But you didnt do it .You asked the servants to get it framed and then to hang it on this wall because we re-married and were coming back to this house.

Arnav : No. You are wrong. I hung this painting here a year back when I actually started realising its worth. Yeh frame bhi maine ki.. aur isse lagaya bhi maine.

She was impressed .A year back he did this. ? That showed how much he again wanted her in his life .The decision of re-marrying Arnav was never wrong, she thought. He had changed and this change was noticable now. The bed was decorated too with rose petals which made her feel uneasy. He read her face.

Arnav: Umm. This is not my idea. Its Hari Prakash's work.

Khushi smiled and went to the cupboard. She turned behind

Khushi: Can I see whats inside?

Arnav: All yours. You are the owner of this house and the person whom it belongs. Go ahead.

She smiled hearitly and opened the cupboard. All the Sarees , jewellery that she had left it was still in place. She suddenly thought something and her face was low again.

Khushi: Arnav . I. wanted to ask you something.

Arnav: Hmm bolo.

She was hesitating to ask but this question was haunting her mind from past many years.

Khushi: AFter I left this place , your life..did you. . I mean. did anyone else ever took my place in this house?

Arnav was little confused. He didnt understand clearly.

Khushi: I mean any affair , relationships that you had after I left? Look Arnav, I know all that hardly matters now. We are married once again and its obvious even if you had some flings its past. Infact I have seen men who after Divorce dont take long to get into relationships because they simply cannot lead a bachelor life all over again. They.. They need warmth of a woman. So. DId you . ?

Arnav had not expected that kind of question from her. But he didnt had to worry about answering. He was clean in this aspect.

Arnav: No. It was always you Khushi whom I have ever touched. Now I dont have any proofs of being clean, but if you can believe it, I would be greatful.

She sighed in relief. How she wished to get the same reply from him.

Arnav: Ab hogaya yeah aur kuch poochna hai?

Khushi : What will you have for today's dinner?

Arnav: Dont tell me you planning to cook? We 3 are going out tonight for Dinner. You must be tired. Take some rest. Till then I will handle our baby champ. He seems to be over excited seeing the house.

He passed Khushi a hearty smile and then went to the Poolside picking Aarav in arms and took him to show the Terrace. Khushi was very very happy. She was enjoying this side of Arnav and neverthless she knew the day isnt far when the little uneasiness between them will be wiped off soon. She wanted everything to be perfect now .

The Dinner at her favourite restaurant and a long drive back home. What else was needed for Khushi to feel loved and cared. He really was doing everything she always had dreamt from him. Aarav was already asleep by the time they reached home. Arnav carried him to the bed and placed at the centre while she changed into her night dress in that time. Desires bubbled inside him when he saw her moving those rose petals of the bed and making a place for herself beside Aarav. She was tired and needed proper sleep which Arnav didnt wanted to disturb. Wishing her a good night he dimmed the lights.

When she woke up in the morning, she heard Arnav talking over the phone at the poolside. Business talks and seemed like he was needed in the office. But Arnav was cancelling his today's appointments only because he wanted to spend time with his family. So much unlike the past where he never even gave a thought to anything over his work. He kept the call and turned behind. She was standing some feets away.

Khushi: You should go.

Arnav: You heard?

Khushi: Yes Arnav and I think you should go Office. You already have spent enough holidays with us in Lucknow. Now that you are back, just concentrate on work for sometime.

Arnav: No Khushi. Its not much important. I have some other plans for you today.

Khushi: We can make these plans on weekend. You are going to Office and thats final Arnav.

Arnav: You wives are really unpredicatable. Now I want to spend time and you making me work?

Khushi: I know what I am asking you to do. Please dont argue. And you can finish the important meets at least if not wait till the evening to come back home.

Arnav gave up.

Arnav: Okay. I will have my shower. I might be back in 3 hours.

Khushi: Good. Let me make some breakfast for you.

Aarav was busy downstairs watching his morning cartoon. Khushi came in the room with Arnav's juice and saw him getting ready for work. She placed the juice on the table. Arnav was holding a tie in hands and a thought popped in his head.

Arnav: Khushi, would you mind helping me fasten this.

Her lips curled into smile as he extended his tie towards her. He could read her mind, she was little nervous for this act.

Arnav: Is it that difficult for you to help me with the Tie?

Khushi: No. I was just wondering why you even need my help. You never asked me this before.

He could feel her hesitation but it was only because she was too shy to make this effort of coming closer to him all over again after 5 years. He covered the distance between them making her skip a beat and eyes lowered. Pulling up her chin he made her meet his eyes.

Arnav: I told you there is a major difference between then and now Khushi.

He was so close to her that his breathe fanned her face all over. Holding her hands he placed them on his chest, making her well aware of how hard he was breathing.

Arnav: You seem to be scared Khushi. Relax.. I am just asking you to fasten a damm Tie, nothing beyond that, I promise.

She bit her lower lip not meeting his eyes and took the tie from him. He maintained the distance as promised but how could he miss admiring her face. She stepped closer and slipped her hands around his neck to fasten the tie. Khushi realised his top 3 shirt buttons were still open and she cannot fasten the tie until she buttons them up. She looked in his eyes but he maintained the same look on his face. Does that mean he wanted her to button up? The thought itself got goosebumps on her skin. Her fingers Shiverred as she started buttoning the shirt. They touched his hard chest at times, brushing it there for a while and moving to the next. The sensations she gave him by doing this simple gesture was overwhelming. He curved his palm over her cheek, stroking his thumb gently over her soft skin. An electric spark ran down her spine. She wanted to close her eyes and take in everything he offered but soon he held her hands .

Arnav: You are turning cold Khushi.

She felt very shy to face him after this. Neither could she concentrate on the tie nor the old feelings developing inside her. He pulled her chin up and kissed her forehead.

Arnav: Its okay. I will do this. You go and check if Aarav needs anything.

His understanding nature and patience was to be rewarded. She rushed outside the room obeying his orders.
