His wait was over. Khushi came down in a Red Saree, wearing minimum jewellery as she never needed them to enhance her beauty. Not that Arnav never complimented her before when they were married. He did it but it was always very superficial. Today he realised how much he missed to compliment her in real sense. She came down scanning the room . She was just avoiding his gaze because it was too new for her.

Khushi: Where is everyone Arnav?

He didnt reply , he was that lost in her . She patted his arm to get his attention.

Arnav: Uhh. They left for the temple.

Khushi: They left? Without me?

Arnav: Thats why I am here. I dont want anybody else to take your responsibility henceforth. So let me take it forever this time.

His words were assuring and very impressive but will this remain the same forever? She had to check that out .He escorted her towards his car. He was driving through the heavy traffic while she was busy lost somewhere. For a change and unlike before, he needed her attention on him. Only if he could ask her directly to talk something to him. It was like she read his mind . She turned to him.

Khushi: Maa was telling me about some meeting of yours in Delhi day after tomorrow.

Arnav: Yeah. New clients. Hoping to crack the deal. I have asked my manager to handle everything. He will take care of it.

Khushi: Manager? But the Clients are coming for the first time in AR. Dont they deserve to meet you?

Arnav: Yea they definately do .But its fine Khushi. All this kept happening before but now that I have promised myself and defined what my priorities are, its not important .

Khushi: No Arnav. Its not right. I am glad that you have realised the importance of being with the family and spending time with them but ignoring work totally is not appreciated. Since the time you came to Lucknow, your work is been hampered. Lets do one thing, we shall start tomorrow for Delhi. I will inform Maa .Sure she will understand.

Arnav: You sure ?

Khushi: Haan.

Arnav: Isnt it strange? We divorced because of me concentrating only on work and now when we are getting re-married , you want me to focus on it again?

Khushi: This re-marriage doesnt ask only one of us to bend and work on this relationship Arnav. We both should be working for it to make it stable forever. This time I am sure you will balance work and your family well.

Arnav smiled at her because her thoughts gave him that support which if had been given earlier, they would never had divorced.

The marriage was simple. They performed all the rituals before Garima, Akash and Aarav. The moment the priest pronounced them as husband and wife, Aarav jumped with joy and ran into his parents arms, wishing them first.

Aarav: Dad, mom . Thank you. Now we all will be together .

Both Arnav and Khushi acknowledged his words by completing his sentence

Arnav / Khushi: Humesha (Forever)

It was nice to see them together as a complete family. Akash congratulated both and Garima blessed them. The real Griha Pravesh was to be done when Khushi reaches back to Shantivan. And since they had to packed their bags tonight, all of them were busy in doing the same. Khushi was packing Aarav's clothes at night with Garima helping her.

Garima: Its 11:00 Khushi. I think finish the rest tomorrow. You should be sleeping now.

Khushi: Maa, tomorrow we wont have time.

Garima: I will do it then. You go. Arnav must be waiting for you.

Khushi understood why her mother was forcing her so much to leave back. Tonight was their marriage night again. But it was difficult for Khushi to accept things so quickly . But what about Arnav? Was he expecting anything from her tonight? She didnt know. There was so much of confusion in her mind. From past 5 years he hadnt touched her , she had missed his touch like hell but now when they were legally bonded, she was afraid of giving Arnav what he deserved or expecting the same from him for her. All this was so strange. Aarav came hurridly inside the room and hugged Khushi.

Khushi: Baby, did you brush?

Aarav: Yes, dad helped me brush. Mumma I am sleepy.

Garima: Uhh Aarav .Tonight Nani will make you sleep .Let Mumma rest too. She and Dad both are tired.

Aarav: No Nani. I want to sleep with Mumma and dad .

Khushi: Maa its fine.

Garima: No Khushi. Its not fine. Just a matter of one night here. And once you go Delhi, he will be with you both all the time. So whats wrong if he sleeps with me tonight? I am going to miss my Grandson too.

Aarav: Nani No..

Aarav was not ready to sleep away from his maa and dad tonight .Afterall he had got this opportunity for the first time today to sleep between them. How can he miss it. Garima was still arguing when Arnav entered the room and interrupted their arguements

Arnav: Aunty, lets not spoil Aarav's mood. He was waiting for this night since long.

Garima zipped her lips after this and agreed .Khushi and Arnav shared a quick glance. Arnav picked Aarav in arms.

Arnav: So big guy, tonight dad will put you to sleep. Come.

Garima: Arnav wait. Take Khushi along otherwise she wont come that easily.

Khushi widenend her eyes seeing her mother which Arnav noticed.

Arnav: Aunty if she wishes to pack everything and then sleep, I am okay with it.

That was too much of understanding from his end which surprised the mother and daughter. But before Arnav left the room with Aarav he saw Khushi again.

Arnav: But that doesnt mean you keep packing the whole night. You looking quite tired. We have a flight journey to make too. So take some rest.

His sugar coated advsies created some tickles in her body which she waved off by passing him a quick smile and continuing her work again. Garima was delighted that her Son in law had already started fulfilling his duties towards his wife and son so easily. She was sure that this time her daughter would get the desired happiness which always lied in Arnav only.

With quite a hesitation, Khushi entered Arnav's room thinking what should be next .She just didnt wanted to have any kind of uncomfortable moments between them. This relationship was complicated until they ease before each other like old times and that might take some more days. SHe saw Arnav and Aarav sleeping peacefully on the bed. Aarav had cuddled in his father's arms. None of them had taken the quilt on them and Aarav's story books were scattered on the bed. So the father was having a bed story time with his Son? That was again unexpected. She shut the lamps off covering the father son with sheets. She stood before the bed for some seconds thinking where she should be sleeping. The father and the son had occupied almost more than half of the space. She was about to leave at the sofa not wishing to disturb them when suddenly he caught her hand rubbing his eyes. More than Aarav, he looked like a baby tonight.

Arnav: Where you going?

Khushi: I was just.

Arnav: Aarav wanted his parents to sleep beside him tonight. Wont you fulfil his wish?

This WISH made her remember the most important and recent wish which her Son had demanded from both of them. Having a sister. The dhak dhaks became prominent again which was little hard for her to control.

Arnav: Come here. Let me make some space for you.

He pulled Aarav towards him , leaving some space for Khushi to join them on bed. She accepted his gestures and then made her way to the other side of the bed. Smiling at each other again they closed their eyes. Both knew how difficult it was to get peaceful sleep because after almost 5 years they were sleeping so close to each other.

Garima and Akash had come to the Airport to see off Khushi, Arnav and Aarav. Garima promised to visit Delhi soon and stay with them for few weeks if possible. Akash asked Khushi not to worry about the business here. They were three before to handle the work , ie Garima, Khushi and Akash and now one more member was added in it , though not officially. He announced Arnav's name and also told Khushi what all arrangements Arnav had planned to provide a helping hand to Gupta business from Delhi. Khushi was once again impressed. She appreciated Arnav's extra efforts and now waited to see how he was going to handle his work and family together after they reach Delhi.

The flight journey was quick and within 2 hours they reached Delhi. Arnav had made some real good arrangements in Shantivan for welcoming Khushi and Aarav. Khushi was asked to stop at the door with Aarav until one of the maid came there and kept the rice filled kalash on the floor before Khushi and left.

Khushi: yeh sab?

Arnav: Zaroori hai for our new start.

She pushed the kalash with her feet slowly dropping the rice on the floor and entered inside with her husband and Son.

Arnav: Welcome home Khushi. Sab kuch waise hi hai jaise tum chod ke gayi thi. (Its the same you had left it before while leaving this house) Now I leave it on you to make the necessary changes if you want any.

Was he planning to kill her with such cute and sensible talks? This was so unlike him which she always wanted to see in him earlier but was unsuccessful. But today when he had really started turning out to be the man she loved, nothing seemed to be more delightful than this.

The house had memories for her , both good and bad and it was difficult to remember all those again. Yet the good thing was that she was back here with the same designation. She was wife of Arnav Singh Raizada again, thus having the same rights on this house like before. Aarav was too busy in admiring his Dad's house which was more big than a palace for him. Arnav kneeled down at his Son and took him in his embrace.

Arnav: Dad has a surprise for you. Wish to know what it is?

Aarav: Yes Dad.

Arnav: Okay then climb the stairs and open the first door to your right.

Without waiting for his mumma and dad to join him, Aarav rushed upstairs. The maid followed him to ensure he reaches safe in that room leaving Arnav and Khushi all alone in the Living room.

Khushi was about to leave upstairs but Arnav held her hand. She stopped and looked at his face.

Arnav: Where you going?

Khushi: Upar. Humaare kamre mein. (Upstairs. In our room)

Arnav: Peechle baar bhool gaya tha par iss baar nahi. (Last time I had forgot this. But not today)

He picked Khushi in arms which was most surprising even for her. She had to wrap her arms around his neck for support. Her eyes still fired questions at him which though he never heard, tried clearing them off.

Khushi: Arnav ?? Kya kar rahe hai aap? (Arnav?? What you doing?)

Arnav: The newly married Bahu of this house is supposed to be carried in her husband's arms first time she steps in their room. Bus. Wohi kar raha hoon. (Just doing the same)

He started taking her to their bedroom and she didnt know why ? Was something awaiting there too? She was just admiring his face while he carried her. He had a satisfaction written all over his face.

Arnav: Waise ek baat kahu? (Should I tell something?)

Khushi: Hmm.

Arnav: You have put on some weight than before. Is it from Aarav's birth?

Khushi: I am glad you noticed this difference.

Arnav stopped at the door but didnt place her down yet . He just stared at her face.

Arnav: There are hell many things I have noticed this time in you Khushi.. Only if I can detail each one of them before you someday.

Was he scaring her by his over cheesy and romantic talks? She was controlling hard not to blush but seemed impossible because her husband was no longer the same like before. She will have to go through a tough time if he keeps this changed attitude forever henceforth.
