Kriya's world shattered in mere seconds and she wasn't able to understand what was happening. Yesterday she had a beautiful day with Rey and today she was hearing her parents planning off her marriage with someone else and that too Aliyan.

Aliyan was the son of her father's best friend. Kriya grew up playing with him. If somebody ever asked her in her childhood that if after Jai, her own brother she admires a guy then who it is? She would always answer 'Aliyan'. Her admiration for Rey always remained hidden from everyone as she never let out a word about him. It was the level of respect for him in her heart that she avoided bringing him in conversations because she never wanted anyone to every say anything against about him. So apparently Aliyan was the one she had for her answer. It was not a straight lie because Aliyan was a good guy and she liked him but never in a way that she would marry him. She didn't even think about any guy for an intense, loving, lifelong relationship other then Reyaansh and right now she was stuck in a big trouble. There had to be some way out of it.

Rey got out of his house grabbing his bike keys. It was raining heavily outside and he had a plan of biking with his friends. He looked at the pouring sky and a smile unknowingly crept on his face remembering something.

"Oh my, it's raining after so long"

-Her chirpings whenever it rains

"Everyone just look out here, the sky looks divine"

-Her glistening eyes conveying her contentment

"I just love rains"

-Her cute actions when she roams around in the rain freely

"Bheega Bheega saa ye december hai"

-And her perfectly carved lips moving in a sync when she sings slowly and calmly but still passionately

His mobile beeped, making him jump at his place. That's when he realised that he was lost in a trance, her trance! He shook his thoughts away and looked at the mobile. It was signalling a message from Kriya. He ruffled through his hair involuntarily and smiled, opening up the message.

"Hey Alisha, how are you? How's it all going"

He wondered reading the message. What was that? Then after a few seconds his mobile again signalled a message by Kriya.

"Oh I'm so sorry, that message was meant to be for my friend, ghalti se aapko aagaya."

He typed up a reply and sent.

"Chalo ghalti se hee sahi per aaya sahi jagah hai"

He grinned after sending that message and got on his bike, started and zoomed off.

Kriya read the message twice as she couldn't acknowledge if he meant something in that message or he was just being his normal flirty self. Well, by this little conversation Kriya's mood lit up as she was depressed by the whole Aliyan drama. This guy surely had the guts to lighten up her world like nobody else.

"Kriya dii, didii"

Misha called out for kriya, almost yelling on the top of her voice.

Kriya: Misha, dheere nahi bol sakti, I'm studying.

Misha: Arey didu, chodo ye study,baat hee aaisi hai k main chillati kese naa

Kriya: Kyun kya hua, badi khush lag rahi ho

Misha: Yaar we are going to Raipur, for Mahesh bhai's wedding

Kriya: Oh wow, that's great

Misha: Dii, kya sirf that's great. Arey socho shaadi Rey bhaiyya k ghar per hai as Mahesh bhai k parents tou out of country hain and he's staying at Rey Bhai's place so you're gonna spend time with him. Woww Just Imagine..

Kriya: Oh haan I didn't realise that before.

Misha: Dii, look at me!

Kriya: Kya hua?

Misha: Itna cold reponse!! Something is wrong with you.

Kriya: Mish..haan yaar but right now I'm not in a state to tell, you understand naa. I'll tell you whenever it's suitable.

Misha: Okay no worries, take your time yaar but just share whenever you feel like it.

Kriya gave her a weak smile and a nod in agreement. Misha left the room, giving Kriya her own mental space which she needed at the time.

Kriya's phone rang and she picked it up finding it a call from Swayam.

Kri: Hey Swayum, called after so long...

Swa: So sorry Kiru, tujhe batana tha k me and Rey are coming to your house because we have to pick up the decoration stuff, which Rajesh Uncle ordered for Mahesh Bhai's wedding.

Kri: What, I mean why ordered from here? It can be bought from Raipur.

Swayum: No your dad, I mean Rajesh Uncle insisted that he wants to take up the expenditures of catering and decoration as a gift so that's why..

Kri: Oh okay, cool then come. Fir teri class loongi.

Swayum: Haha sure sissy..Cya..

Kri: Cya, bye..

The rain didn't stop instead it was heavier than before. Kriya opened her balcony's window and stood by it, taking in the divine scenery in front of her which was created by the nature. She was so much into these things that sometimes people called her unrealsitic but in fact she was one of those realists who recognise the true reality, which is hidden in the nature.

In the meantime, she heard a knock on her room's door. She opened it and found Swayam there. She smiled widely on seeing him there and he greeted her with a brotherly side hug.

Kri: So, finally meri yaad aa hee gayi.

Swa: Arey yaar teri yaad tou har waqt aati hai, bus I was caught up in some college projects.

Kri: Oh college projects, like Sharon Singhania ko patana.

Swa: Oye aahista bol, Rey is around. Kaminey ne sunn liya tou fir question/answer session shuru ho jayega.

Kri: Ayye don't call him Kamina.

Kriya bit her tongue after saying that but she wasn't able to help it coming out of her mouth.

Swa: What???

"See someone is nicer than you Mr Swayam"

Rey entered the room, converting Swayam's attention towards him.

Swa: Mr I was just saying the right thing about you.

Rey: Acha, mujhse bada kamina tou tu hai

"Boys, ye arguments baad mei karna, aik minute idhar aao"

Jay entered the room.

Rey: Kya baat hai Jay?

Jay: Arey aao tou woh kuch saaman move karna hai garage mei hai

The three boys exited the room together.

They were busy while setting up some furniture into different rooms which was in the garage when Jay's phone rang. He came back to the garage after taking the call.

Rey: Kiska phone tha?

Jay: Aliyan kaa..

Rey: Oh acha, woh Raipur aaraha haina.

Jay: Haan woh abhi idhar bhi aaraha hai family k saath

Rey: Why, all of a sudden?

Jay: Nahi pehle se plan tha unn logon kaa abhi confirm kiya, woh actually kriya aur uske rishte ki baat chal rahi hai. Abhi family mei kisi aur ko mut bolna. Let's see what the elders decide.

Jay replied casually and got busy in the work but Rey got numb on his place. He couldn't digest Jay's words. 'Kriya aur Aliyan'!!!! He left the garage quickly and headed towards Kriya's room. He found her at the Balcony, busy setting up the plants there.

"Kriya" he almost whispered but it was audible for her. She looked at him and quickly dusted off her hands, looking at him if he had to say something.

"Jee" she looked at him with her innocent eyes and a confused expression. He just couldn't hold it anymore. He grabbed her by her waist, totally forgetting that they have never been this close before, he never did this type of thing before but little did both of them knew that there's a first time for everything.

Her hands automatically landed on his shoulders with the sudden grip. Their bodies collided with each other and their faces were inches apart.

Kriya's eyes went wide open on his unexpcted action. What was he trying to do? She stared at him without even blinking and tried to register the moment. He brought his hand forward and pinned her side hair behind her ear. A shiver ran down her spine on his touch. He didn't break the intense gaze fixed on her face. Both of them were unaware of their actions but at the time, may be they needed this proximity and intensity.

He tightened his grip on her waist, making her grip of hands on his shoulders more firm. He brought his face closer to her. Kriya suddenly felt their closeness and closed her eyes in a fear. He lifted her chin up in order to make her eyes open. She raised her eye-brows, may be to question him about what he wants.. He took in a deep breath and noded in negation. Meanwhile they both heard a knock on Kriya's door and they jerked apart on it. Kriya asked in a low voice "Who's there?"

"Umm sorry to disturb you Kriya, it's Aliyan here"

Kriya sighed in frustration and moved towards the door to open it. Rey closed his fists tight, not knowing about whatever was happening to him. Aliyan stepped in and got a bit surprised on seeing Rey there.

Kriya sensed his state of surprise and feared if he would think something wrong so she tried to clear the air. "Oh Thanks for the chair" She said to Rey in order to make Aliyan think that he came in to drop the chair in as he might know that the boys were moving the furniture.

Rey's eyes got widened in shock but soon anger took over it. Kriya lied just to make things clear for Aliyan. Just to make his path clear in her life. He tried to calm down himself gave a last look to Kriya, then Aliyan and left the room, shutting the door behind him with a bang.
