Chapter-4

It was 3:00 at night.Sanyukta was sitting there still not able to register that just a few hours ago she was being attempted to r**e...!!!!

She and her thoughts were disturbed my knock on her door.Fear submerged her completely draining the mere stamina that was left...!!!!
"He is back...What now? Shall I call police...Yes..But he broke my phone...!!! What now..He will kill me..!!!"Tears jumped from the cliff...!!!

"Sanyukta...Open the door...!!!"Her mom's faint voice came from outside.She signed a releif.
She quickly got up,straightened her frame and opened the door with a fake smile.
"Hello mom...!!!!"Sanyukta said scratching her nape when she hissed in pain due to gifts of randhir...!!!
She quickly covered her mouth with her palm so that its not audible to her mother...!!!!

"Sanyukta...What is this? U broke your phone...!!!!"Her mother said stepping in her bedroom...!!!!
She gulped and looked down...!!!
"Mom..Actaually...!!!"Befire she could frame an excuse her mother started.
"What ...IPhone 5...U just broke it...!!!! And telling me lame excuses... When I come back home I need peace...!!! But your father and you just can't stop troubling me...!!!!!"Her mom dashed inside her room.

She picked up the "So precious" pieces of her phone and walked lifelessly to room...!!!!!
"Mom,U were never there so that I can trouble you...!!!!!"

"Mom...!!! I secured first rank see...!!!!"A 9-years old sanyukta said hugging her mom.
"Very good...Now lemme work plz...See ur mom is busy.. I will see it afterwards...!!!!"Her mom smiled,gluing her eyes on her laptop...!!!!

"Ur afterwards hadn't cane yet mom...!!!!"Sanyukta said wiping her losing the same 3-grade report card.
She smiled sadly and went to sleep because she knew that shedding tears will just disturb her mom's sleep...!!!

She got up with a heavy head...!!!

Her white pillow was painted with a mordern art by saline tears with the help of her eyeconic kohl...!!!!
"Today a new one..Not bad...!!!"She laughed and freashened up.

"Sanyukta,come downstairs right now...!!!"Her mom yelled from downstairs.
She sighed and closed her eyes.

"What it is mom...!!!!"She said carefully walked down the stairs.
"Your dad is coming home...U need to help me make breakfast...!!!!"Her mom said harshly.
"Great a family dinner...!!!! This was just required."She groaned.
Dinner with three of them usually resulted in her mom and dad fighting and sanyukta in middle of it.Though she didn't miss her dad much because if she had to witness their tete-e-tete...!!!!
Every time you put them together either of them starts arguing over nothing...!!!!
She sighed and continued setting the plates on the table...!!!

"Hye sanyukta...!!!"Her dad's voice ecoed.
she faked a smile...!!!
"Hi dad...!!!!"She said hugging him slightly.

"Rice...!!!!"Sanyukta's mom said spooning some in her dad's plate.

"Thanks so how id everything...!!! Ur college...!!!"His dad asked breaking the ice.
"Everything is being fine...!!!!"Sanyukta's mom replied him. bitterly.Sanyukta sighed.She know that today her mom was in mood and she very well knew how this will ending...!!!

"And with you sanyukta...!!!!"His dad spoke sternly.
"Am fine...!!!!"Sanyukta spoke timidly.Sanyukta decided to keep it to herself as she got F in her last assignment in college and there was this unknown man harassing her.

"As if you care...!!!!"Sanyukta's mom mumbled under her breath.
Sanyukta kept her fork down kept her hands on her head.

"What do you mean...!!!!"His dad said keeping the spoo on plate with a thud.

"This means u were never there for us...Me and my daughter survived alone in this world...!!!!"Her mom's voice buzzed in the room.
"Really...!!! See whose saying this..!!!"Her dad matched the pitch with her mom.

"Mom n dad..Can we just eat...!!!"Sanyukta spoke coldly.
They gave dirty looks to each other and nodded.

"I need to ask you both something...!!!"Sanyukta said grabbing the attention.
"Yes...!!!"Her mom spoke softly.
"Whose randhir...!!!"She eyed her dad.
Her dad just shrugged his shoulders but her mom's face turned pale.
"Mom do U know...!!!"Sanyukta questioned or enquired.
"No I don't...!!! But are you asking this.. !!!"She said concentrating on food.
Before should answer her dad interrupted her.
"Now my child can't even ask questions...!!!!"He spoke bitterly.

And again they were back to square one.Eating and fighting...!!!!

"Sanyukta just finish yiur food and go upstairs in your room now..!!"Her mom ordered.Typical behaviour of her mom.Since she can't control her dad,she tries to control the situation by controlling her.

"No dats ok...!!!! M not hungry anymore...!!!"Sanyukta said blankly and with out a word dashed upstairs.
She buried her facr in her hands,getting sick of everything that was happening to her...!!!!

She never talk about to anyone so things get bottled up inside her.Kaustuki and parth doesn't know about it.For world they were a picture of perfect family,neither of them have an idea that it was rotten and it had been rotten for quite a while now...!!!

A/N:- M sorry for updating late..!! But some of you asked to give an idea of sanyukta and her parents releationship.I hope I have conveyed it properly.If not sorry my writing sucks..!!!!
