Chapter 8.

Taani was in a good mood today, she happily walks in the corridor, people knew her now. Everyone was smiling and impressed by her as she was the one earned the most in yesterdays Fund Raiser fair, followed by Reyansh and then Swayam.

She notices Rey near his locker and walks to him.

"Hiee, Good morning"

Rey raises his eyebrows and smiles back.

Taani puts strands of her hair behind her ear and smiles at him again. He closes his locker and starts walking. Taani runs and starts walking with him.

"Wo actually maine socha, jo tumne kaha, dreams k baarein mein, main kya karna chahti hu and all"

Rey nods his head, "Yeah aur tumne kaha ki you want to travel"

Tani smiled, happy that he still remembers, "Exactly!! toh maine socha ki, agar traveling karna hai toh, sabse important toh driving hain na? agar muje driving hi nahi aati ho toh main kaise travel karungi?? Hain na??" she raised her eyebrows out of nervousness.

Rey who had no idea where Taani was heading to, smiled, "ofcourse! I think iss generation mein its really important. You never know kab tumhe uski zaroorat pade"

Taani starts rubbing her palms out of excitement, "So done!!"

Rey stops walking, "Kya done?"

Taani was staring at him, all excited, "Travelling k liye driving janna bohot zaroori hai, aur muje driving bilkul nahi aati. Toh tum muje driving sikhaoge right?? Tumne hi toh kaha tha ki where there is a will there is way, aur agar main chahoon toh main kuch bhi kar sakti hoon. Hain na?"

Rey just kept staring at her, all nervous, He gulped as he thought of women and driving. But he was trapped now. If he tells her that she can't do that, again she will enter the zone where she'll think she doesn't fit in here. Rey nodes his head slowly.

Taani was happy now, "toh chalo, tum tumhari car ki chabbi lo, lets go, mere bodyguards abhi gaadi ki servicing k liye gaye, 30 mins toh lagega unhe wapus ane mein, tab tak hum wapus aa jayenge"

Rey looked around now, how was he suppose to tell her that he doesn't have a car, and if he does tell her, then she will drop the plan of learning. Rey didn't want that at any cost. Suddenly an idea struck his mind.

"Taani tum yahi rukho, main boys locker room mein jaake aya" He rushed in, and comes out in 10 mins with car keys in his hand, They quickly rush outside the college.

Sharon was in her house, she kept staring at the picture of her and Swayam that she stuck on her picture board. She smiled as she looked at swayam!! How was he so Charming, She kept her hand on her chin. "You know what Swayam, jitna socha tha, utne irritating and despo tum ho nai"

She was distracted by the noise of her door crack open, it was her step mom who just walked in. Sharon quickly stood up.

"Sharon sweetheart, tumhe college k liye der nahi ho rahi hai beta?"

Sharon smiled back, "Bass nikal hi rahi hu" she grabs her bag and walks out her room.

Mrs.Raiprakash's expression changed as she watch Sharon walk away, she looked at her with utter jealousy, Sharon had the looks of her birth mother, and being the step mother of Sharon she always envied how pretty Sharon was. And to add to the pain, her husband had transferred all his property and business to Sharon's name.

The whole point of marrying Mr.Raiprakash was so that she can live a luxurius life, and not so that she has to be under Sharon's favour her entire lifetime. She takes a deep breath and turns to leave Sharon's room but just as she was about to close the door, she stopped. Slowly she leaned to have a look at her pictures board. She walked towards it scanning each picture. There she had pictures of Sharon and her father, It wasn't that Avantika Raiprakash was seeing it for the first time, but as always she smirked as she saw it, she moved to the next bunch of photographs, there was Sharon and her housemaid, Sharon and the gardener, Sharon and the gardeners kid. Avantika stared at it , just wondering why does everyone love her so much. She hated the fact that Sharon was the favorite of every single soul in their house.

Moving forward she saw Sharon and Nilesh. She sighed out of amusement. Nilesh can never be a threat to her plans ever. That's why she never opposed Sharon hanging out with him. Moving to her next picture, Avantika was stunned, "Who on earth is this new guy"

She never saw him before, neither had she heard about him and why was his picture in here??? After Nilesh, Avantika never let Sharon make new friends, she always would find out faults either in their family or studies or attitude and convience Sharon to stop mingling. She was furious now. How come no one informed her about this guy! She quickly takes out her phone,

"What the hell!!!,Tumhe maine jiss kaam pe lagaya hai, I guess tum bhul gaye ho. I need to remind you, Meet me at my office in 10 mins"

Without listening to anything from the other person she diconected the phone and walked out.

Reys heartbeat was at his highest as Taani already managed to break two signals, almost hit several bikes and chased away all the people walking on the street.

Her phone started ringing; she leaves the steering to take out her phone,

Rey panicked and holds the steering wheel as they entered the wrong lane and was about to hit a vehicle.

"Taani focus!!!! Driving ke waqt hum phone pe baat nahi kar sakte"

Taani nervously drops her phone on her lap and holds the steering. "I am so sorry, wo Sharon ka call tha, wo college pohoch gayi na toh muje dund rahi hogi. Aap tension mat lo, main iss gaadi ko kuch nahi hone dungi"

She keeps staring at the road as she spoke, "Waise muje nahi pata tha ki apke paas itna expensive car hai, Its really good.Apne toh kaha tha ki apke dad k paas fee's bharne ki bhi paise nai hote toh phir ye gaadi kaise??"

Rey was too busy focusing at the road and giving stink eye to the people who were honking and grumbling at Taani's bad driving. Rey speaks out, "filhal toh afford nahi kar sakte,par ek din zaroor karunga, isse bhi better gaadi hogi mere paas."

Taani was confused, "Afford nai kar sakte ka kya matlab? (she looked at him) Ye apki gaadi nahi hai?"

Rey who was still giving a stink eye to the taxi driver,smiled and faces taani "Nahi wo actually..(he stopped as he realized he wasn't suppose to tell her this)

Taani opened her mouth wide and immediately hits on the breaks. There was a huge noise of honking and bad words as she stopped right in the middle of the road.

She looked at him with a shocked expression, "Ye gaadi kiski hai??"

Swayam storms out of boys locker room panicking and worried, as he was walking he accidentally crashes into Sharon.

"Swayam, careful !!"

Swayam just sighed, "I'm sorry Sharon wo actually. Am in a hurry so" he started walking again.

Sharon just looked at him, she took quick steps and reached near him, "Kya hua? Tension me lag rahe ho"

He brushes his hair out of frustration, "Kuch dund raha hu"

Sharon cuts him, "Main bhi !! Main bhi Taani ko dund rahi hu, pata nai kaha hai. Subah se nahi diki. Tum kisse dundh rahe ho?"

He stops and looks at her, "Meri car keys missing hai"

He was about to continue when Charlie cuts in, "Hey Guys, Tumne Rey ko kahi dekha hai kya? , Wo students keh rahe hai ki he left with Taani in a brand new BMW F83" She giggled, "I thought wo gaadi Swayam ki hai, (she looks at him) Tumhare paas hai na?"

Stunned Swayam looked at Sharon and back to Charlie, "Rey meri gaadi leke chala gaya? How dare he? I mean limits Charlie!! Limits hoti hai"

Sharon cuts him, "Wait wait !! Reyansh Taani ko leke gaya?? Agar yeh baat uski bodyguards ko pata chala toh?? aur agar unhone uske ghar pe bataya toh?? toh..wo use college ane se mana kar denge"

Charlie just realized she screwed up. " Guys relax! Whats the big deal"

Swayam and Sharon stare at her. They both speak out together,

Swayam "Gaadi missing hai"

Sharon, "Taani missing hai"

Sharon was astonisnied as she heard Swayam, "Taani ki life ka sawal hai! and tume gaadi ki padi hai?"

Swayam who was already annoyed, "Sharon, Rey meri brand new gaadi leke gaya hai, my car!!!"

Sharon folds her hands and Swayam rubs his forehead out of frustration. Both were just waiting for Rey to walk in back. Charlie just swallowed her saliva wondering how to fix this.
