CHAPTER#25

The semi final was tomorrow and they were really tired and exhausted with the continuous practice they dint get proper time even to have food in the past three days. . after wrapping up the final rehearsal they went to the food court to stuff them with some energy. .
they all sat in the round table relishing their food "where is Swayam?" nil asked "he had some important call to attend, he will join us later" taani answered. Sharon was desperately waiting for Swayam she wanted to wait until he come but she couldn't give any excuse for not having food to her friends. Discussion about the semi finals was going on all were wishing that they could make it to the finals. . sharon was lost in her thoughts wondering where Swayam is. .
"hey, guys iam sorry. . I was a little worked up" Swayam said it a friendly tone. . all called him to join them. . the sight of Swayam filled sharon with a unknown happiness. . he came and directly sat in the empty seat beside sharon. "hey. ." he said winking at her. . she was taken aback by surprise she looked around to see if any one saw him doing that but all were busy chattering "no one saw. . so chill" Swayam said and gave a smirk sharon smiled at him being embraced.

After the dinner all moved back to the room as decided they all went to bed as they all needed proper sleep before a tiring and most important day. . sharon and Swayam were walking in the longue "what happened?" sharon asked. . "nothing... nothing.." Swayam mumbled " Swayam you cant lie to me. . you were trying really hard to be normal while having dinner but iam not them who cant catch your lie so cut this and say me what happened. ." sharon said with a authoritative tone. Swayam was happy to know that sharon could understand him this well in this short span "wow. . I am impressed. . you are really reading me. ."Swayam said still not read to spit it out. Sharon just glared at him. "ok. . as iam in brazil my clients here in brazil want to meet me and discuss some issue too. ." Swayam said "so whats the problem with it?" sharon asked. "sharon they want the meeting to be held tomorrow. . and I cant say no to them they are really important to the company" Swayam said with a low tone he knew sharon wanted him to be with her tomorrow even though she dint say it. . it was a big day in her life and he too wanted to be there to cheer her up and see her succeed.
Sharons face fell listening to it. . she wanted him to be with her but she also knew that how his business was important for him controlling her urge to ask him not to go "Swayam, work comes first so you must go. . and moreover semis are in the evening and I hope you can make it here by then." Sharon said reassuring him. "no sharon I cant return before night my clients office is in the other end it would take 4 hours journey by road. . and iam afraid I will miss the semis" Swayam said being all low. Sharons face fell further how badly she wanted him to stay with her. . just he being around her gave her peace and strength. "its ok. . Swayam work is work. . try coming as early as possible. . now its late we should sleep" she said wearing a best smile possible even though she was upset with the news. Swayam knew she dint feel good but he dint had any option he just smiled in return sharon turned to leave "sharon. ." Swayam called. . "what?"sharon asked turning back "I love you" he said his eyes depicting how much he loved her and sharon could see it she just smiled fondly and walked back to the room.
The next day started it was important day for their life which could decide the future it was the day of their semis out of 12 best teams only 4 teams would be selected to the finals it was do or die situation for all of them. All the contestants were in the back stage being positive that they would give their best.
Swayam had still not arrived sharon was hoping that he would come she knew that it would not be possible but still there was hope she re read the message again which was sent by him "sharon, I have left from here I dono if I could reach there on time. . "hope i will" just trust yourself I know you will give a awesome performance. . love you. . yours Swayam" she smiled fondly even his simple message would fill her with confidence. But she missed him being by her side. . she missed those eyes where she could see only her. . she missed that smile which gives her confidence all in all she missed all of him.
"hey sharon what are you doing here our performance is in a while" amal said bringing her back to reality. And she just moved back to the gang.
Their names were announced they were standing on the stage sharon just closed her eyes and visualized swayams face the soft tunes played and sharon taking the lead started with flawless contemporary moves showing the pain of losing a loved one. The team accompanied her their each move cried in the memory, the anguish and longing there was flames of pain on the stage it was as if the collaboration of fire of dance with the rain of emotions audience had tears in their eyes there wasn't a roar in the crowd but there was calmness as the song ended all there were tears in their eyes the crowd applauded them. .
There was one person who was applauding out loud he had tears in his eyes as if he felt the real pain yes it was Swayam sharons eyes spotted his and they had a eye lock that small eye lock spoke louder than the mega speakers in the stage they all exited from the stage with a bow.
Swayam very well knew how difficult it would be for sharon to depict such a act when she have soo much of pain in her heart and being a introvert person portraying her emotion in such a way was unimaginable. He saw tears in her eyes he wanted to hold her in his arms and say he is and always will be there with her.
Now it was a time to decide by the judges what would be their challenge. . judges preferred a trio with hip hop. . they had 5 minutes to set it up amal,rinni and Vicky were chosen as they were very good in hiphop and choreography was set by nil as he was quick. . the trio were on the stage lights went dim and the only spot light fell on rinni she started with a bang which was followed by vicky and amal the energy was beyond comparision the audience which was calm in a while before now cheered their each step was crisp and bang on it was as if they practiced it for the umpteenth time the dance was ended with a trio pose the roar reached a different level by then.

Swayam was waiting for them in the back stage when sharon saw him she felt like running to his arms and burying her there. . he just smiled at her " wow, guys what a performance you literally killed it. ." Swayam said with enthusiasm to cheer them up and bring them out of tension. . "I hope we could make it. . I don't want to go back reaching soo near to the finale" simmi said. " you people will" Swayam assured them looking at sharon as she knew it was she who was more tensed than all of them. .
