Kushi giggled as she blew air into Arnav's ear lightly. She giggled more as she saw his face crunch up trying to shoo away the disturbance. But Kushi being herself was enjoying his irritation.

Ahh... Arnav grumbled as he turned around and pulled the spread over his head as he settled into sleep again.

Now Kushi pouted. Today was Tuesday. She wanted to go to the temple. Even when she was in the hospital she used to visit the temple that was there in the premises. Now that she is out of that place she wanted to go and meet her Devi Maiyya and thank her for giving her a Prince. She smiled when she remembered how her jeeji would tell her that she would get one.

She shook her head to come out of her thoughts. She needed to wake him up. Thinking so she gently got out of the bed and held one end of the spread. She made sure to have a good hold on it. Counting to three she pulled the spread thinking it would come off. But little did she know that Arnav had a strong hold on it and instead of it coming off, Kushi fell on top of him.

Ahh... Arnav yelled as he felt a weight fall on him. He opened his eyes to see beautiful hazel eyes looking at him with concern and .. and.. was it fear? He thought

Arnav ji... her voice called him a bit hesitant as she looked into his confused eyes.

Kushi?? Kya bath hai? He asked as he brushed her hair from her face.

Kuch nahi.. She whispered as she looked at him. She couldn't understand the feeling in her stomach. It was like something was flying inside her tickling her in a pleasurable way.

Kushi?? Teek ho? Arnav asked as he gently moved her from his top and settled her next to him.

Hmmm.. She hummed as she got up. She rubbed her tummy not know what it was...

Pet me dard hai kya? (Is your stomach aching?)

Na. Laga jese kuch under ud raha hai. Kushi said innocently as she rubbed her tummy again. (No. felt as though something was flying inside it)

Kya?? Arnav asked getting confused more.

Ab teek hai.. She smiled at him. (Now it is alright)

Ok.. Saying Arnav got up and walked to the wash room still confused about what happened just now.

Arnav ji.. Kushi called in after few minutes.

Kya hai Kushi. He grumbled as he was still feeling sleepy. (What is it Kushi)

Hume mandir jana hai.. She said. (I want to go to the temple)

Kyu??? (Why?)

Kyu mathlab? Admi mandir kyu jata hai? (Why means what? What does a human go to the temple?)

Kushi.. I .. Ok kab jana hai..? He asked giving up. (Kushi..I..ok when do you want to go?)

Aaj... aur wo bhi abhi. She said stubbornly. (Today and that too now)

Arnav came out of the wash room, freshly bathed and with a towel around his waist. Again Kushi felt that feeling in her stomach. She rubbed her tummy not knowing what was going on.

Ok.. Ready ho jao. We will go to the temple saying Arnav got ready and Kushi left the room wondering what was happening with her.

Arnav and Kushi stared and were nearing the temple. Just then his phone rang.

Di?? He spoke into it after attending the call.

Arnav, come to the Mata ji temple near XYZ road. I'm there with Akash. Anjali\Geet said in a hard voice

DI? Sab teek hai na? He asked worried. His sister has never spoken like this to him. (All is fine no?)

Yes tum bas jaldi a jao. Saying she cut the call. (Yes you just come fast)

Arnav was confused. Just then his phone rang. It was his Jeeja ji...

Tell me Jeeja ji?? Arnav asked still thinking about the way his sister spoke to him.

Arnav where are you?

I'm going to the temple the one in XYZ road. He told him absent mindedly.

Ok will see you there. Saying Shyam cut the call.

Arnav drove to the temple in silence. He was so worried about his sister that he had completely forgotten abt Kushi who was busy looking worriedly at him.

He stopped the car and got out of it. Kushi came out and before she could call him, Arnav quickly walked towards the steps and started running to meet his sister.

Kushi stood confused. She didn't understand what happened to him. Thinking of asking him she was about to follow him when she felt someone hold her wrist and pulled her forcible. She was dragged into an empty shop and before she could yell, a hand covered her face and she lifted her fear filled eyes to look at up only to see her worst nightmare.

Her eyes widened looking at his smug face. His creepy smile grew on his face when he looked at her pale one.

Kushi.. He whispered. He was so close to her that she could feel his breath on her cheek.

She struggled to get away from him. She cried out to Arnav, calling him to save her.

Tume yadh hai me kon hu?? He asked her in a mocking tone. (You know who I am?)

Kushi nodded her head not knowing why he asking such stupid questions.

Good... he whispered but he was slowly getting angry when he saw her eyes looking towards the door searching for someone.

Arnav ko doond rahi ho?? He asked her as his grip on her face over her mouth tightened. (Are you searching for Arnav?)

Kushi's eyes widened again in shock. How did he know her Arnav ji?

Wo nahi ayega.. He said in a confident tone. (He won't come)

Koi nahi ayega tume bachane ke liye Kushi... tum meri ho. He smirked as he read the fear growing in her eyes. (No one will come to save you Kushi. You are mine)

Tume uski jaan pyari hai na? Tho chup raho.. He said as he removed his hand from her mouth. (You want him alive no? then keep silent)

Kushi stood frozen after hearing this. How did he find her? How did he know Arnav ji? Tears slowly started forming in her eyes.

Tum use mere bare me kuch nahi kahogi. Aur tum mujhe kal fir se yaha milne aogi. Shyam said in a serious voice. (You won't tell him anything about me and you'll come here again tomorrow to meet me)

Yadi nahi ayi ya Arnav ko pata challa tho... tume apni Jeeji yadh hai na?? aur tumari Amma? Sab ko mar dunga.. He told her with a smirk. (If you don't come or if Arnav comes to know, you remember your sister? Your mother. I'll kill all of them) Kushi trembled seeing the monster in his eyes. Could he be telling the truth? She dint know. But what other options did she have? She had to keep quiet.

Ab challo.. Saying he pushed her out of the shop. Kushi stumbled as she walked like a dead person. She dint understand what just happened. Just today morning she was happy. Now all was gone. The monster has caught the heroine. She thought how will her Prince save her??

Kushi! She heard someone call but she dint concentrate. She was lost in her misery. Tears refused to stop as they flowed from her eyes...

Kushi... came the voice closer as she felt someone shake her. The cloud from her vision cleared as she looked up to see Arnav...

Arnav ji.. She whispered. A cry of pain left her mouth. It was not physical but it was emotional. The thought of losing him the thought of getting her mother and sister killed was enough to break the innocent heart of Kushi. Usually she never understood the world around her. It was her sister who pampered and guarded her but now without her Jeeji, she felt powerless, alone and suddenly very empty.

Arnav felt guilty. How irresponsible of him? He, in his worry of his sister had abandoned the girl in the streets. Ho God... he moaned as he hugged the crying Kushi to him. The minute he saw Kushi crying and walking lost on the road something painful stung his heart. Guilt and something so very protective wound around his heart that it ached to have her in his arms safe.

Shh.. Kushi.. He whispered...

Arnav?? Yeh kon hai? Asked the familiar voice of his sister.

Taking a deep breath, Arnav let go of Kushi and turned her around to introduce her to his sister and brother.

Di.. yeh Kushi hai aur Kushi, yeh meri Di Anjali/Geet aur mera bhai Akash hai.

Wiping her tears from her face, Kushi looked at both of them shyly. Her still tear stained eyes lit with a smile, but fear was still hidden below.

Namaste... she spoke shyly

Namaste Geet/Anjali said trying to smile. But she couldn't. How do you smile at the woman who had married your husband and is hugging your brother in the middle of the road? She dint know.

Aap... Akash spoke out but she held Akash's hand before he said anything. She dint want to tell Arnav anything as of now. She has never seen her brother display emotions freely like this before. She would wait a little bit more to understand this girl's game. Was she innocent as she looks? Was she playing both her husband and her brother or was she a victim? She wondered as she looked upon the girl who held all her brother's attention.

Akash stood silently as he saw the girl who was Payal ji's sister. He dint know what to make out of all this. His first priority was his sister then only others but his heart, what could he do about that stupid organ which wanted to only support Payal? He was so confused about this. Was Payal included in this game? Was she and this girl teamed up to destroy his sister's life? Or was it more than this. Was Payal's innocent, nature a ploy to trap him and his family or was it truth? He dint know. How he wished and prayed it was not so. But the other side was even worse. Shyam would become the traitor. That would shatter not only his sister but also their whole family. It had taken years after the incident for Geet/Anjali to live her life. To smile, but if this come true, all will be lost. He now did not know what to pray for. Seeing this girl, yes girl that was what she looked like. Innocent petite girl, with Arnav had confused him more. What relationship did she have with his brother? The more he thought the more confused he got.

Akash challe?? He heard his di call.

Han.. Office keliye na? He asked as he was hesitant to leave her alone after this revelation.

Yes. I have work Akash. Geet/Anjali smiled

Ok Di.. Saying they both drove to Kurrana constructions

Sir there is a man saying he wants to meet you. Adhi said as he entered into Maan's cabin.

Adhi you know I don't see anyone without an appointment.

Yes sir, but he is insisting. Says his name is Ayush.

Maan immediately got up. Send him in. and don't disturb me till I say so.

Adhi left the room surprised by this. His boss had never behaved like this before. Something was definitely up.

Good morning sir. Ayush said with a smile as he entered the room.

Good morning. Kya bath hai. You have come early in the morning?

You needed photos of Kushi no. So I thought I'd give them to you immediately. I received then yesterday only... saying he placed a cover on the table

Maan took out the pictures from the cover.

Yeh sab uski friend ki marriage me liya tha. This was the last time I saw her. Ayush said lost in his thoughts.

Maan silently went through the pictures. His sister was so beautiful so innocent. He prayed that he could get to her before anything bad happens.

Thank you Ayush. Maan said... his voice full of emotions.

Please sir... don't embarrass me. I am also worried about her. I am helping you cos I know you can reach areas that I cannot. Ayush said frankly.

Maan looked at the man with a new sense of respect.

I'll get in touch with you later saying Ayush left the room and Maan stood there with hope in his eyes. He had gotten one step forward.
