I walked into the class room with Kaustuki while Arpita went to the boys dorm to "check upon" Karan!Classroom...good to see one when filled with people you know."Randhir...", a voice called out.I turned in the direction of the voice.A girl with shoulder length jet black hair and pale skin,like that of dead people stood there looking dreamily at Randhir.

He hid himself behind a book which he lifted upto his face."Oh baby,here you are!Why didn't you answer my calls last night?" she said leaning over him pushing his book down from his face.I could see a dead expression crossing his face.I laughed at once which drew his attention.He narrowed his eyes at me and I turned away only to find Arpita and Karan walking in.Karan slid into the very little space between me and Kaustuki and started his "job".Arpita turned to Randhir and chuckled.

"When did she come?" she turned to me.I shrugged and asked her about the girl."Ritu,Randhir's die hard fan!She follows him around like a pug.I can't believe she has come this far for him",she widened her eyes."Why?" I asked."She doesn't even belong here.She is from Germany.Actually she has come to India with her family for some business purposes.She completed her high school with us.I thought she would go back,yet here she is sticking herself to Randhir", she shook her head in disbelief."So you guys know each other from high school?" I asked."Yeah.Randhir's my cousin,a distant one though.Karan and Parth are my chidhood buddies too", she said.

"Parth", I frowned."Parth,my boyfriend.He will be here tomorrow", she said cheerfully.Just then a person in his mid forties came in with a big goofy smile plastered on his face."Hello students.I am Suraj Bhatia,your dean." He started talking about FITE and its achievements,rules,exams,marking strategy.After an hour,the class ended and every one made their way out while Kaustuki asked me to join her to the main office building.She wanted to join in the photography club of the college.Funny,an engineering college like FITE has such type of clubs too!Kaustuki went inside a room while I waited outside.I went to the notice board nearby and saw the list of the clubs.Whoa,they have one for music too.I saw a familiar person coming out of the office and turned to get a clear view.It was Karthik.He looked grim and stared at the floor while walking.I got this weird feeling of punching him in the nose and then laugh at him.He suddenly looked up as if he heard it.He gave a confused and terrified look.I stared at him as if threatening him.He looked down and walked away hurriedly.What was that?I didn't even touch him.Well some one else did.Realization dawned me.Randhir.

"Hey lets go", Kaustuki called out to me.We didn't have many classes today.However we should go to lab after lunch.Its 12:30. Already."Sanyu,You never showed me your dress for freshers party," Kaustuki asked me making a baby face.I smiled at her,"I don't really have one,but I do have some blue dresses.So I will put some thing on that day."

"You bought a platinum chain right?" she asked confused."Oh that.I walked into the store and the sales woman was pestering me so I asked her to show me some chains and she did.I couldn't really walk out just like that after all she searched for 20 minutes and brought two chains which would suit me.So I bought it." I took my wallet."Lets go and have lunch," I said.Maybe what he did was not that bad.I mean that's what I wanted,those jerks to stay away from me and that's what is happening now.I think I should thank him for that.We entered the cafeteria and found Randhir sitting at a table.Kaustuki texted Arpita to come too as we didn't know about her schedule.I made my way towards him while Kaustuki was talking to her mother on the phone.He waved at me.I smiled and sat opposite to him."So how was the class today", he asked."Nothing interesting.Boring", I turned away."Where are you from?" he frowned."Canada" I replied."Half Indian - ".I cut him off,"Nope.We settled there".He nodded,"Why are you always sad?"Why do even care."None of your business",I replied flatly still not looking at him."Which means you are sad", he smiled."Can you please just shut up", I scowled at him."Okay,I am just trying to know about you", he said."You don't have to", I sounded rude I guess,he looked down not speaking anything else."Thank you for the other day,but please stay away from me.I don't need your sympathy," I stood up to leave when Arpita came to the table,"Hey,where are you going.Sit down". She forced me to sit.My fault to come here."Okay guys what do want?" Arpita asked us.Every one gave their order while Kaustuki ordered for me too.After a while Randhir brought the food and placed it on the table.We started eating,Arpita was talking about her professor,her class.She has two classes after lunch.Then the topic changed to movies,then desserts."Sanyukta, do you eat rasgulla?" Arpita asked me,her eyes lit up with that word rasgulla."Yeah,with paneer",I said."What?You do that?ew Alisha does that too", she scowled and gasped all of a sudden.She immediately turned to Randhir slightly holding her ear while Randhir gave a sad smile.She stood up saying that she should get an ice cream.Randhir's phone buzzed and he walked away to answer the call.What is happening?Who is Alisha?Am I the only one who noticed it?I turned to Karan and Kaustuki.The former was busy flirting while the latter was blushing hard.I shook my head and got up to leave while Arpita said she too need to come.We walked through the corridors with Arpita was blabbering about the ice cream.She is really too good at that!We reached our room.I unlocked it and Arpita went in while I stood out as something caught my attention.There was a box with a ribbon and a post-it."To Sanyukta" it said.I opened it and found a blue dress inside.Its him again.I couldn't control my anger now.I pulled out my phone and called him."What do you even think of yourself.I told you to leave me alone.I don't wanna receive any such things again.I don't need your help." I shouted at him and cut the call.
