Yes they are allowed to go out like a normal couple as they are married. and it is islamically correct to consummate the marriage after the nikah. There is no need to wait for rukhsati 😊

Arnav woke up with a pleasant feeling. He felt like the luckiest man in the world. He had gotten his love, what else did he need? He looked on tenderly at Khushi whose head was in the crook of his neck and found her snuggling more into him. At that moment, he immediately wished to wake up to this view every morning. She was holding his shirt's lapels and had a cute pout on her face, which he so wanted to kiss but had to control his urges. He held her shoulders to gently pry her hands away so he could get up but that slightest movement woke her up. Seeing their position, her eyes widened and she shot up flushed and sat on the bed looking everywhere except him.
"Good morning." He said sitting up against the headrest of the bed and she replied with a timid "Morning" to which he laughed inwardly at the adorable picture she made. Sitting on the bed, fumbling with the hem of the kurta and trying to hide her shy smile.
"So slept well?" This question of Arnav in a teasing voice brought all the memories of last night and Khushi stilled for a moment and jumping out of the bed was about to run away when Arnav held her hand, forcing her to turn around. She pleaded him not to tease her more with her eyes and caressing her hand for a tiny second, he said: "Go" and she ran to the bathroom to escape his sweet torture while leaving him chuckling behind her.
Khushi was standing in the balcony adjacent to their room after praying Fajr enjoying the chill breeze touching her face making her loose hair fly with it. She inhaled the fragrance of soil mixed with the rainwater and saw the trees swinging with the wind, its green leaves covered in dew and the flowers basking in the glory of nature describing every inch of the word mesmerizing. She drifted to the past unknowingly and thought about how things had drastically changed from then. Being a girl, she was always supposed to behave properly, not to say a word more than necessary. She recalled her mother asking her to talk when asked to and never laugh openly because it wasn't how girls acted. They should be shy and should always keep their heads down in respect. It wouldn't be true if she said that she accepted all of it without a word, she had argued with her mother, asked her to at least give a reason for this discrimination except that ridiculous notion of you-are-a-girl but all she got in reply was disappointment. She didn't blame anyone in particular, her own parents were a victim of these silly ideas but she had craved for that one time when her father would pat her head, blessing her and to see that pride in her parent's eyes on having a daughter but soon she had realized that it was impossible and had succumbed to silence.
It was until Arnav came in her life. Not only he gave birth to different emotions like love, sense of belonging but also for the first time ever in her life, she felt like she was free. Free to voice her opinions, free to do whatever she wanted. Never been one on the receiving end, she had been so overwhelmed that she was sometimes rendered speechless at the love she saw in his eyes. She knew she had to forget all of her past and move on but something or the other pulled her back but last night, last night had been like magic, like a balm to sooth all that pain of her past. She had her own fears too when she had told him never to leave her but the pain which she was living in had dimmed to a level that it felt like it wasn't there at all. The moment his lips had touched hers, she had known that she could never ask for more. Arnav was the best husband she could get and he had proved that every way. She had cried not because she was thinking about something else, she was genuinely happy. It had been a closure to her past and she had locked it away in her heart never to open it again. Something had changed inside her and she didn't know what but she felt like she had broken all those barriers and had become an altogether different person who wanted to live and have every experience of life, including love which she had already fallen into.
She was lost in her own thoughts when two pair of hands sneaked around her waist and instantly she covered his hands with her and leaned against his chest which brought a strange sense of calm.
"Kya soch rahi ho?" he whispered in her ears inhaling the jasmine fragrance emanating from her hair.
"Kuch nahin. I like it here. It's so peaceful."
"Khushi?" He asked worried and confused as to what she was talking about. Khushi turned around to face him and looked into his eyes filled with concern for her. Controlling the urge to straighten those frown lines on his forehead, she shook her head at him and seeing him a little relaxed, she begun:
"I wanted to tell you something."
"What is it?" came his impatient question.
"I know I haven't told you anything about my past but I just wanted to say that I don't wish to discuss it further. Whatever it is, it's gone and that time will never come back. I want to live my present and plan about the future. I want to move on." And after a pause she added: "with you and I've already taken a start. I'm happy and I don't want any more baggage with me."
"If you're happy then so am I." He said and hugged her for reassurance. Truly, it didn't matter at all. He knew that Khushi was a strong girl and would somehow get over that phase of her life which gave her pain and today he was sure that she did. He could see that in her eyes. That pain had ebbed away and instead a new emotion had taken place. Emotion of love. And the fact that it was for him made him feel at the top of the world. He hugged her even tighter and heard her mumbling:
"Thank you Arnav." Surprised at hearing his own name from her mouth for the very first time, he pulled back to look into those smiling eyes and asked: "Did you just say my name?"
"I guess I did. Why?"
"You never do." She chuckled at the cute face he made while pinching the bridge of his nose.
Leaning towards his ear, she whispered: "I never do this too, ARNAV!" and with that she started tickling him mercilessly with their laughter ringing through the whole house.
