Part 7

Khushi happily rang the temple bell walking inside with an irritated Arnav Singh Raizada beside her .The family was happy she could convince Arnav to come here.

Anjali: Waah Khushi. Only you could get him here. No one else can dare to call Chotte in the temple.

Khushi faked a blush as if she was happy with the praises. Arnav frowned at her and then asked his family to hurry up with this Marriage date issue.

Anjali: Haan Chotte. Let the Priest come. He is at the backside of the temple talking to someone.

Arnav thought something and excused from them making an excuse of some call. Khushi wanted to follow him but she couldnt as Nani and Anjali kept her busy with talks. After sometime Arnav came back with a smile on his face which Khushi saw and realised he had done something against her plans which made him flaunt that winning smirk. Soon the Priests came too and the family surrounded them

Priests checked the Kundali (Horoscope ) of Arnav and Khushi and then looked at the family.

Priest: They both make a lovely pair . Just like Lord Shiv and Parvati.

Arnav: WHAT?

He instantly screamed looking angrily at the Priest but then realised the family was watching him.

Arnav: Uhh. I mean I dont believe in all this Panditji. Just tell us when we can marry. thats all.

The Priests looked back in the Kundali and he waited for them to speak what he had asked them to a while ago. He had bribed the priest stating he would give a heavy donation to this Temple if they can fix a date a year later or so.. He will get enough time to make excuse and stop the wedding. But seemed like destiny didnt support him today.

Priest: The best Mahurat for the wedding is in 20 days.

Everyone were delighted and agreed for the date but Arnav was angrily staring at the Priest for not taking his words and money seriously. Someone patted at his back. She was Khushi who was grinning seeing his face.

Khushi: What happened? Not happy with the date ?Should we ask them to PRE PONE?

She gigled and he walked aside not wishing to waste his time here sharing her happiness.She followed him and blocked his way.

Khushi; What did you think? You can bribe the Priest and ask them to decline this marriage or schedule a mahurat very far?

Arnav didnt reply. He kept on watching her thinking how did she know all this?

Khushi : Mr Arnav SIngh Raizada. I may not have spent much time with you but I know everything about you from past many years . I already had thought you would try doing something like this. So I had warned the Priests about you bribing them even before you could think about it.

He fisted his fingers in frustration

Khushi: You gave them money to post pone the date and I reminded them their real duty , to say the truth and decide the marriage date based on the Kundali's . And dont worry about the money you gave them as bribe. I have asked them to use it as the fund for the Temple development .

She really knew him well and she didnt mind using her brain at the right time in right situations. He saw her laughing on his face for winning over him.

Arnav: I swear Khushi. You will repent badly on this move of yours. Keep counting. The next 20 days wont be easy for you.

Khushi smiled

Khushi: Oops. I am scared.

Arnav: You will be Scared for real Khushi. And that day is not far.

He walked off from there in anger not even thinking what his family would feel if they dont find him here.

2 Days later

Simmy: Have you lost your mind ?Marrying Arnav only because you wish to teach him a lesson?

Khushi was checking out the engagement ring for her in the Store with Simmy.

Khushi: There is much more to this Simmy.

Simmy: What more Khushi? I know how close you are to the values of your family. That night Jas spiked the drink and used me as a Pawn to pass you that glass. I cannot forget its somewhere because of me that you are taking this decision. I asked Arnav the next day of the party and he confirmed he did nothing with you of that level. Then why are you marrying him?

Khushi:Simmy stop cursing yourself for all this. I know you are not at fault. And dont worry about me. I know Arnav is not going to get married. He will stop this marriage because he can never be a marriage material. And most important he knows me. He knows I will dominate him if I become his wife .So there is no chance. I will be saved from him and this marriage just on the right time. And along with it I will also be able to let his family know his real face. So just chill and enjoy my wedding celeberations.

Simmy : I hope Khushi. I just hope what you saying will be true because its Arnav Singh Raizada opposite to you. And its hard to believe anyone can win over him. All the best.

Arnav Slid the ring in Khushi's finger and she did exactly the same in a while . Everyone cheered them up, greeting them, wishing them a wonderful life ahead. They were officially engaged. What surprised Khushi was the fact that Arnav Singh Raizada was looking very happy with all this. Shouldnt he be frustrated .Marriage was not in his list then why was he smiling and behaving as if he wanted this?

The Engagement party was On and Arnav and Khushi were standing together. Suddenly Khushi smiled happily seeing the door. Arnav saw in that direction and was stratled seeing his old College friends, the same girls whom he used to spend time around those days, entering the Party with bouquets in their hands.

Arnav: What The hell are they doing here?

Khushi: Ohh come on Arnav. Dont you remember our old friends?

Arnav : Shut up Khushi. They were never your friends. Infact you didnt like them too. Then what are they doing here now?

Khushi: I changed my likes. If I can be ready to marry you, cant I be friends with them again?

She tried to welcome the girls coming their way but Arnav pulled her back.

Arnav: You are crossing Limits Khushi Gupta.

Khushi: Just becoming like you .

She moved his hand aside and then hugged the gang of girls who came and greeted her one by one . Arnav was just watching all this in frustration.

Tina: Hi Arnav. Congratulations.

Arnav took the bouquet from her and placed it aside. Tina was the same girl whom Khushi had caught earlier with Arnav fingering her in the classroom.

Tina: I never thought you will get married and that too with Khushi.

Arnav; I am not married yet Tina. We are just engaged.

Khushi: Toh kya hua Arnav? In some days we will a happy married couple too. But how I feel bad for your future. You will not be able to enjoy your freedom anymore. Parties, girls, night outs.. uff. You will have to sacrifice everything baby.

Tina and the other girls gigled with Khushi whereas Arnav fumed in anger. So this Khushi Gupta managed to get all his ex girl friends to her side ? How dare she?

Khushi: Girls. I think you should meet his Sister Anjali. She will be happy to see you all.

Arnav: No way!

He stopped Khushi from taking these girls to his Di.

Arnav: Have you lost your mind?

Khushi: Not me Arnav. You will lose your mind when your family comes to know about your real face. So instead of me telling them all, why dont you do it? They will be less hurt .And yes. dont forget, you need to apoloizise to me too. Unless all this is done, I am not going to stop this marriage. You get it?

She patted his cheeks and took the girls to introduce them to his family. He clenched his jaw. This Khushi Gupta was hell bent to prove his true colours before everyone. He had to do something before it was too late.

Before Khushi could reach his family, the lights were dim and the DJ started playing the music. Someone held Khushi's hand from behind and the entire light focus shifted on them. She was twirled around and she landed in his arms with their faces quite close to each other.

Arnav whispered in her ears slowly.

Arnav:You cant play with fire Khushi. Its time to melt down.

He pulled her closer by putting an arm around her waist. She felt tickled. Her soft skin crushed to his manly chest. Her eyes glued to his and her hands by now moving to his shoulder for support. They danced in the flashlight that encircled them and everyone were praising this couple for being so sensual and romantic. His dance moves had really made her knees weak and so were her intentions. Tina and the other group of girls were shocked with the chemistry Arnav and Khushi shared. This was so out of the worl d for them.

Khushi : You are taking advantage of the situation Arnav. Dont think I will lose my motives by such unncessary dance.

She managed to be clear but he hardly cared. With his hands moving upwards on her back, he crushed her front again on him

Arnav: You are losing this battle Khushi. Agree to it.

Khushi: Never.

She changed their step making her body move away from him but he still caught her hand and one last time twirled her for some rounds and she crashed on his chest once again at the end of the music. Everyone clapped for them . They smiled as their families praised them for such a beautiful dance. She wanted some space from him to calm her anger and free her body from his touch. She excused and left upstairs on the pretext of freshing up.

She stood at his poolside for some minutes to ease away her thoughts. The way he touched her, just made her go weak. She was finally a girl who never had such relationships in life. He was the first man who actually had made her feel such tingling sensations in her body. His closeness, his whispers, she hated everything because he wasnt meant to be trusted. She knew his past, she knew his present and she was confident his future would be the same too.

She heard him clearing his throat behind her. She took a deep breathe to show him she was fine and turned around.

Arnav: Easing the bubbles baby?

Khushi: Shut up. I am not that weak to fall for you.

Arnav: I know that. Among all the girls I met, you are the only one to say that . But it hardly matters now, isnt it? We are getting married which means all this resolve of staying away from me will end soon. What do you think? I feel its time to start the action now. We are engaged. Hai naa.

Khushi kept moving back.

Khushi: I am not going to tolerate this Arnav, leave my way.

Arnav: Kyon ? Sagaai hui hai, ek kiss toh banti hai Khushi. If you do such silly acts now, what after marriage when I will have full rights on you?

Khushi: Rights my foot. I will kick you before you can even think of utilising them on me.

She hit to the wall behind and he got a perfect location to have his way with her.

Arnav: If you dont want all this to happen then you still have time. Stop this marriage and set me free. Thats all you have to do Khushi.

Her breathe hitched as he neared her but will she lose her battle so easily?

Khushi: Never. I will never set you free until you apolozise for all your misdeeds with me before our families.

Arnav : Aisa kabhi nahi hoga Miss Khushi Gupta. Not in this birth at least.

Khushi: Then even I wont stop this marriage from happening, even if it means risking my own life with a man like you.

Arnav: We will see how long you hold this resolve of yours.

He pressed his lips on her forehead, making her breathless. Both had too much of ego to shed it for their own benefit.

So the wedding date is set and Khushi knows Arnav too well for his own good.

But she too is affected by his touch and proximity.

Both set for their games and we for there moves which gonna bring them closer.
