Chapter 6:
Weeks passed, but still sanyuktha was angry at randhir. These days were like hell To both of them. First thing was because of their damn exams and upon that they both fought. Today was the last day for examinations. Both sanyuktha and randhir struggled hard... Doing night outs, attending special study hours n stuff... Randhir didn't find much difficulty as he was the topper and learned his lessons keenly. Whereas sanyuktha face difficulty right from the beginning as she was much interested in sports. The campus was crowded with students everywhere enjoying happily.
Randhir stood at the lockers waiting for Jacob. He walked to and fro n was eagerly waiting for his enemy to arrive. He had to do all this just for sanyuktha... He himself donno why he is doing all this for her. After a few minutes which seemed like an eternity for Randhir Singh Shekhawat Jacob showed up.Randhir smiled at Jacob to which Jacob gave a confused look.He went to his locker which is exactly beside Randhir and silently opened his locker wondering why all of a sudden Randhir came to meet him.Randhir raised his eyebrows as Jacob didn't really respond to his smile.Jacob noticed it and turned to look at Randhir.
"What shoud i do now?" he asked.
"How do you know it", Randhir said clearly surprised.
"Because you have got that,'I need your help' look", Jacob said pointing to Randhir's face.
"okay,I quit.I really need your help this time.This is concerned with Sanyukta", Randhir said with a worried expression on his face.
"yeah,I wanted to talk to you about her.Did something happen between you two?" Jacob frowned.
"Uhuh,Kind of", Randhir said not wanting to reveal that they fought over him.
"Forget it... I need you to hand these over to her", Randhir diverted the topic by taking out the gift from his bag along with a card.
Jacob's eyes lit with excitement
" Is this for her?" he asked while randhir nodded.
" Please give this card and box to her", he said and gave them to him.
"Yeah sure,unless that box has something which is my favorite in it", Jacob said turning the box over and from side to side.
Randhir smiled and left thanking him.Jacob shook his head in disbelief not really able to understand what on earth made Randhir give a present to Sanyukta.
"sanny,I bet you are going to be out of the universe for the next few days", he started for the classroom.He and Sanyukta has the same class in the morning.But before he could rush into the class he bumped into someone.
"whoa!" he exclaimed but calmed down as nothing has happened to the box and the card.
"Jacob!!!" a voice said interrupting his inspection of the gift.He looked up and found Rochelle infront of him dressed in brown formal shirt and a jeans.She seemed surprised.
"what are those", she asked pointing to the card and the box.
"Not for you honey.They are for someone special", he winked.
Rochelle's mouth opened into a perfect 'O'.She shot daggers at Jacob while stepped back.
"Hey!don't go back to your angry young 'girl' avatar.They are for Sanyukta", he said.
She raised an eyebrow.
"And why is she recieving the gifts when you are the one injured?" rochelle said to which
Jacob laughed.
"They are from your bestie to my bestie", he said exaggerating every word earning a gasp from her.
"Yeah,my expression was the same when he gave me these to hand it over to her", he explained.She giggled and moved out of his path letting him go.
" hey sanny!!!" Jacob greeted hugging her sideways.
" Heya!!!" she said sounding low, Jacob noticed her changed behaviour and caught hold of her hands gently.
" what's wrong??? Why are you like this buddy??"
"oh nothing!! I'm just tired jake.. I missed my bus today and had to walk all along..!!! Coz I would be late to class if I wait for the next bus"
" what bus!!! You came by bus??? You should have told me I would pick you up!! He said and faked a angry look.
" actually I didn't want to bother you.. Moreover you just recovered and I didn't want to trouble you dear..!!"
" hmm okay!! But from tomorrow I'll pick up and drop u off to ur house daily.. Oops your prince charming's sweet home" he said laughing out loud to which sanyu glared at him and gave a 'I don't care about him any more 'look.
" anyways, sanny I have something for you, Infact it's a gift for you sent from a someone special.." Jacob said leaving the gift box and a card on the table.
" from someone special???" she said, extending her hand towards the object which was wrapped in a gift cover and a lovely card along with a yellow rose. She gently unpacked it and was surprised to find a cute little teddy bear holding its ears looking adorable and carrying a message on its belly. " I'M SORRY "
She immediately understood who that "special person" was!!! RANDHIR!!! Then she opened the card and read the content in it.
" sanyuktha,
I know you are really angry at me. But I'm really sorry from the my bottom of my heart, I didn't want to hurt you. Its just that i cant hear a word against my friends and this time sean was at fault which i gloosed over and shouted at you.. So once again im really sorry sorry!!!! Will not repeat this again. Please forgive me , accept my gift and come to library... I'm waiting for you!!! "
Randhir.
She just closed the letter and smiled to her herself and stuffed the gift n the card in her bag. While Jacob just looked at her confusingly, he exactly didn't know what was going on between these two. For now he just kept quiet not spoiling his cheetah's mood.
In another 15 minutes sanyuktha reached the library and found randhir sitting on the corner side row looking impatient waiting for someone. At first sanyuktha felt butterflies in her stomach as she enjoyed randhir fall back of her and behave this way with her. She felt this feeling wonderful but unwillingly she tried to compose herself back to normal mode.
" hmm!!! Why did you call me here..??" she asked looking straight into eyes.
" sanyuktha!!! Hey!! " he greeted to which she faked a smile.
" Come here with me..!!" he said and caught hold of her hand and pulled her to one corner of library.
" what are you..." she was about to shout when he placed a finger on her lips which sent shivers down her spine. They stared at each others eyes deeply. Sanyuktha was the first to come out of the long eye lock while randhir stood still staring at her but this time her lips.
" hmmm!!!!" sanyuktha made a sound seeming a big uncomfortable and randhir bringing out of his thoughts.
" so, do you accept my apology..???" he said.
" hmm!!!"
" look sanyuktha I don't want any fights between us... That's why I thought to sought it off... And i called you here..." he said but she didn't reply still.
" okay I know how to melt your anger..!!!"
He said with a smirk on his face.
" really???"
" hmm Yaa!!! I'm randhir Singh shekawath rank no. 1!! " he said pulling out a envelope from his pocket. And sanyuktha noticed it and remained confused. He slowly places the envelope in her hands and asked her to open.
She opened it..!!!!!

" wow!!! Football match parcels!!!!! " she exclaimed and jumped into his arms and hugged him tight. At first randhir was stunned naz stood still but later gave to the hug and slightly held her.
"omg!!!! Thank you so much randhir..!!! Now your apology is accepted!!!" she said winking to which he mummered "crazy girl"
" we are leaving to Dallas tonight..!!! So
Pack your stuff!!! " he said and left.
Sanyuktha just gleamed with joy..!!! She always loved watching football matches live. It's her favourite sport though!!!

Cafeteria was filled with cheers and laughs. As their university's exams ended. The Sizzlers sat at one end of the cafeteria.
"Sean,what are we going to do this year?" Rochelle asked excited like a kid while Randhir rolled his eyes.
" I just thought..!!! What if we perform a complete new dance form!!! What do you think..???" sean asked.
" hmm..!! Sounds interesting!!! "
"Oops,someone's getting bored of such topics", Emily pointed out Randhir and giggled.
"Looks like that to me too.Maybe a talk about athletics and athletes might cheer him up", Rochelle said emphasizing on the word athlete much to Randhir's annoyance.He chose not to tell them about their day out. Sean clearly confused looked from Rochelle to randhir.
While The Crazy Four sat at the other end joking about something.Sanyukta was telling them about her plans to enroll her name in cross country running.After some time she left to grab something to eat while Jacob was busy with his phone.Ken whispered something to Kaustuki and left too.After he left Kaustuki's face turned pink.Jacob looked up from his phone to Kaustuki.
"When did you apply blush to your cheeks", he asked with a puzzled expression on his face.
"shut up! Ken invited me over for a coffee", she said embarassed.
Jacob's jaw fell open and his head hit the table while he murmered,"not again".
Just then a guy, an American hot guy entered and scanned the cafeteria. It looked like he was finding somebody. But just then Sean saw him and rand towards him and welcomes him with a warm hug!!!
" drake!!!! My bro!!" Sean exclaimed.
" Sean!!!! How are you..??" drake said and they entered the along with him. Jacobstood their stunned. He didn't except him to show up after all that happend few years ago. He muttered " BLOODY bas***d" looking at drake and left the cafe feeling irritated and leaving a confused sanyuktha behind. Sanyuktha left strange and kept sipping her coffee thinking she would ask him later as to what's troubling him understanding that right now jacob needs some space.
Sean introduced drake to everyone in his group. Rochelle was impressed with his personality and his looks . He even seemed smart and intelligent. ' Drake, an american boy.. Smart intelligent. A biker, a athlete. A student of Frankfurt university. And Sean's cousin brother' randhir just formally shakes hands with him and left the place. He never moved up easily with new people around.

After a very tiresome yet the most unforgettable day of his life Randhir stood at the window thinking,no not thinking dreaming about Sanyukta.
"She is adorable", he thought as he reminiscized each and every word of hers, the way she hugged him and jumped like a kid.
He took the cushion which was placed on the sofa beside him and tugged it near his heart and closed his eyes. He didn't what was this new feeling arising in him. He couldn't just stop thinking about her all the time. Infact she just conquered his heart , mind , soul everything. It seemed like he is falling for her.
He came out of his only when he felt a tap on his shoulder.
" randhir!!! What are you doing here??? Aren't you asleep..??" randhir mom said taking her seat beside him.
" no mom..!!! I just felt like spending some time alone peacefully. It was really a tiring day..!!! " he said thinking how hard it was to convince sanyuktha bad ask an apology.
"ohkie!!! Take a lot of rest baby!! and don't strain yourself more... "
"hmm okay..!!! Mom Can we just I mean can I and sanyuktha go out to Dallas to watch a football match..??? " he asked not wanting to face the uncomfortness. He felt weird asking about himAnd sanyuktha.
" what u and sanyuktha??? Seriously..!!!! You both don't hate each other..???" his mom asked.
" hmm!! It's not like I hate her and also that I like her. It's just that we both had a bet and I loose and her demand was to take her to a football match!!! " he lied not knowing what to answer. If his mom would know that he and sanyuktha fought then she would ripp his head off for behaving like that with her.
" hmm okay..!!' go but be careful and return home safely!!! Bdw when are you both leaving..???"
" tonight!!!!" he said.
" ohkie..!!!! How are you'll going..?? I mean train or bus..??"
" mom I'll drive..!!!"
" what by car..??? Randhir are you serious..?? You want to drive all the way to Dallas..??"
" yes mom!!! Don't worry I'll manage..!! It's fun when I drive n go rather than travelling in bus or train which is boring..!!!"
" okay your wish baby!!! But be carefully kiddo, drive slow..!! And take care of sanyuktha too and stop fighting with her for silly matters... Hmm I'll go pack your dinner box..!!! " she said and left.
" okay mom!!!" he said and also left to Sanyuktha's room. He knocked the door and entered.
"oh randhir!!!! Hmm my packing is done I just have to freshen up and then we will leave" she said.
" hmmm!!" he said and started inching forward towards her to which sanyuktha stood still not moving a inch and breathed heavily. He slowly moved his hands close to her face and removed few flicks of hair and tugged them behind her ears. She stood surprised by his actions. He then came out of his dream word and turned to leave when he saw parth standing out in front of the gate watching Sanyuktha's bedroom.Randhir's face turned red as he made his way down and out of the mansion to Parth.He came out and found Parth aiming a paper ball at Sanyukta's window.
"This idiot definitely has to be taught a lesson", he thought to himself and strode towards Parth,grabbed his collar and pushed him hard.
" Don't you get it when I say 'stay away from her'.You have no idea what I am capable of.So better don't mess with me", he punches him in the face and walks away.
