Chapter 7(A)-Heart-Broken
That night,at about 1.30am taani woke up from her deep slumber as the death of shivam right infront of her eyes replayed in her mind,she had been getting these flashes of his death since the day she saw him taking his last breath.She can never forget that scene,it is still fresh in her mind.Taani went to the washroom and splashed water on her face and wiped it off her face as her mind was still lingering over that scene.She came and sat on the bed and gulped down water from the bottle beside her to cool her mind.She sat their thinking about shivam.
Taani-This is all because of me,shivam died because of me.He was telling me this isnt right,but i never agreed with him.
If i hadnt come up with this plan of going away from him,atleast he would have been alive.He died because of me and im married happily and thinking of starting a new life.How selfish of me? How can i do? It hadnt been a week after that accident,im trying to work out this relation.I dont deserve all this happiness.But i cant allow rey also to suffer with me,he dint do anything.I should have said yes to marry rey at first,then this wouldnt have happened.But now i cant allow him to grow feelings for me.I just wanna go away from all this happiness.Yes this is right,before he become close to me again,i have to go far away from him.I dont deserve happiness,but i cant be selfish and spoil rey's life too.I dont deserve anything,she sat there thinking all night.
Little did she know rey had already developed feelings for her since he left mumbai,he missed her so much and had fallen for her.He is deeply in love with her.There rey was sleeping dreaming about his future with taani.He dint know what is gonna happen the next morning.
Rey woke up in the morning as the alarm started buzzing.He smiled as he got up and went to the washroom to get ready.From today he has to go to academy leaving his taani at home,which he dint wanna do,but he dont have option.There is lot of work in academy.He came out of his room all dressed up,he turned towards kitchen expecting her to be there.But it was empty,she was no where to be seen.He looked at her room,guessing that she is still asleep,he knocked her room's door.But he got silence in reply,thinking that she in
washroom,he knocked again.But he got the same reply,silence.He was worried,he cant even peep inside because it is locked from inside.He went into kitchen to make some breakfast for them.Though he was getting late,he prepared bread-omlette for her and again went to her room's door.Rey again knocked it but no reply,he was worried for her.
Rey-Taani!Taani!,he called out for her.
Wiping her tears and clutching the chain in her neck which shivam gave her,she was crying when she heard him outside.
Taani-Yeah rey!I was in washroom,she said from the other side without opening the door.
Rey-Taani!Are you okay?Come out and have breakfast,he said in relief as he heard her voice.
Taani-No! I mean rey my head is aching badly.I will have it later.
Rey-What?Is it paining taani?Let me call doctor, he said picking yp his phone.
Taani-No!No!Its okay if i sleep for sometime,it will go,she said.
She dint wanna open the door because seeing her red puffy eyes,he would know she cried all night.
Rey-Are you sure?Atleast have breakfast,he said with concern dripping voice.
Taani-I dont wanna eat now,i will eat later,dont worry rey im okay,she said controlling when she heard concerned voice.
Rey-Have your breakfast,im going to academy.I will come in the evening.Call me if you are not feeling well okay,he said
but he wasnt convinced with her.He was confused why she isnt opening the door.
Pushing all these thoughts and telling her to take medicine and all,he left.
Taani lying on the bed cried her heart out as he left,the way he cared for her,her heart broke with the thought
that she had to leave him soon.She sat there crying until sleep took over her.She woke up rubbing her eyes at 11.00am,she freshen up and came out.She sat silently eating the breakfast he prepared for her.She picked up the note she saw over there with a tablet sheet beside it.
Note-Taani,have your breakfast,im sorry i woke up late and dint know you arent well.I would have cooked some healthy breakfast for you if i wasnt running late for the academy.I wanted to stay at home today because you are sick,but because of wedding,there is lot of work and dance practice pending so i had to leave unwantedly.Sorry for that again and yeah please call me if you are not feeling good,dont hesitate okay?.Take this tablet and take rest.I will order something for you for lunch,i dont want you to take pain by cooking lunch now.I will try to come early in the evening.But please take care.Your Rey.
She sat there staring at that "your" before rey striked off,she said there crying silently.The tears dint stop flowing from her eyes,after seeing his care for her.
