Yes. The first sequence in that book which made me cry was little Mariyam waiting outside her father's mansion. Damn! T_T

I mean I am one of those people that hardly ever cries in movies and books, but his writing just opens though voltage gated channels! Lol! That aside!

Khaled Hosseini is a brilliant story teller. I'm reading Mountains Echoed currently. But A Thousand Splendid Suns shall remain my favourite for a long long time now. :)

The way you started of Vardhaan and Niharika, was just fabulous! Those unspoken feelings and emotions were so aptly portrayed! I love how your foreshadowed Parth-Vardhaan-Niharika with Aarav-Randhir-Sanyukta!

That chapter was soo traumatic yet touching at the same time! Traumatic and touching since this happens in real life as well! Hats off for penning maturely penning down such a sensitive issue!
