I am actually very sad that it had to end this way for them. But one thing I love was how you portrayed the harsh realities of life so well

I know my own real life khushi who fell in love with her very own Arnav. He walked out of her life with no messages no signs no nothing. He just upped and left one day. Its been about five years and she still lives in his memories believing he will come back one day.

And I see her do it everyday. Thats why your story is so special. Thats why I am so fond of it. It goes to show that lifes not always a fairy tale

Wow.. Wat an end to a book.. Lovely written n the pace of the book was also fabulous.. Will be waitin for ur link for the book 2..

Can't believe this is end of book one this story was such wonderful a journey few of the incidents reminds me of my personal experiences in my (married) life and you have bring out emotions very well I felt and do feel it sometimes about past exactly how you have written in the story .These characters were so real their flaws their strengths I am not only talking about the leads I am talking about every character in the story even NK 's mother.

NB such a realistic end... In our part of the world no matter whose fault it is but the woman has to always pay the price, a man can take a break from his surrounding like Arnav and when he comes back nobody even remembers his past but if a woman makes a mistake like Khushi then the society and even her own family treats her like an outlaw and punishes her for the rest of her life... I am looking forward to the second book but I am dreading it as well as I feel that it won't have a happy Khushi in it while it will be buisness as usual for a certain Mr Raizada.

It ended on such a sad note!!

I really hope that Khushi can only go up in life as she has hit the rock bottom. (I thought the same in chap 42 but you brought in Avinash's fiasco as well!)

But hopefully post-Avinash, Khushi's parents stop forcing her for marriage. I really hope Khushi's life takes a positive turn.
Am impatient to read part 2 but a bit anxious as it starts after 9 years!! so Arnav will be 44 and Khushi 35ish??

Been reading the updates. Well-described.

Wow I wasn't expecting that ending but I guess somethings are just never meant to work. Book one was amazing and I'm very much looking forward to reading book 2.

Who loved more? Or who loved Less is a personal prerogative. For me. I think Arnav did right. I've mentioned it in previous comment also. He saved Himself and Khushi from bigger pains that could have followed.

As for Khushi, being an adult, being independent doesn't counts for being mature and strong.
I'm not blaming her too. Love is over whelming, especially for a yound mind and a winged heart, its a high-flyer.

But i hope, in Book 2 she steers her life the way she wants, not for the world, because at the end, it spares none, not for her parents, at the end they want their child happy and certainly not for someone else..

Its actually funny, how even after centuries, we all still believe in Barter system - that we'll get something in return. Its Reality, that eventually hurts and its the hurt that paves way for happiness however small it may be. :)
