it is sad. and we humans have a tendency to look into our faults in times like this. it was nobody's fault but an act of fate but somehow khushi will end up paying the price

I have been thinking same till yesterday..I always thought its Payal and mother might be Garima.I felt it is Garima bcos now she is very strict with Kushi..may b she feels Kushi should not do the same mistake as her..
But after reading couple of comments, I reread the prologue and worried it might b Kushi..as she didnt take the pill too.. but prologue is very confusing..the lady there isn't a strong one and here Kushi is really strong..

Somehow. Sandhya, though I knew with certainty no reader should actually feel, that someone would be hurt for Arnav to be that furious, I NEVER, even once, considered it would be Anjali. That was how unexpected it was to read that it was her who is now lying on that hospital bed, fighting for her life.

Life is like this. It doesn't care that you have seen more loss in your few years than most people have in a lifetime, it doesnt care that you are the mother to a younger sister, the last thread of sanity for a younger brother, a newly wed wife, a most precious grand-daughter - Nothing. It Just allows the storms it is holding for you, take over till there is nothing left behind except prayer, hope and tears.

My heart is beating so loudly in my chest. I don't want her to die. Yes that is what I don't want. I don't want her to live a half life. Some people deserve to be happy, complete. Anjali, this family, is one of those.

Writing grief that evokes such reactions from your readers is an art. But what is even more commendable is the ability to write grief from an outsider's perspective and yet maintain the depth of the emotion while conveying desperation and dying hope that only an outsider can feel in such situations - without taking away from the sensitivity of the moment.

yes, I don't think anyone is going to be able to forget this day, after all.

It's a delight to not only read your stories but also your critiques. Your insights sometimes makes me understand the story more like in Heartbeat Radio. Love your takes on that story.

What a twist sandhya! It really twisted my heart!
I only know how i managed to read the entire chapter! Fervently hoping that anjali survives! That there is no death scene! So firstly thanks for not killing anjali! I would have been too distraught to type a comment if you had killed anjali! I cant take death scenes!

Secondly i know khushi will have to face Arnav's ire now n bear the brunt of his anger! He will hold her responsible for him not being there for his sisters wen they needed him the most!
He will resent his own happiness!
You beautifully summed everything in the last paragraph! Obviously arnav couldnt have done anything had he been there with them but then he wouldnt juat accept that!
I just hope khushi dsnt have to pay a big price for loving him! Given how irrationally he has started thinking with his flawed logic!
N if she does n arnav repeats what he had done last time then sandhya get khushi married to khandelwal! She would be better off with him!
Waiting for the next part!!!

Oh my God,their happy time was so short. And she forgot the pill. I guess this will keep a connection between them which will be forever. He is going to let her go I am sure. How can he be happy when his Di isn't well . What a twist this was. Completely unexpected. A good job. and thanks for the PM. Love. Ak

i was thinking the same too...whn i read payal's story, how she ended up in orphanage, i thought its Payal's mother in the prologue...may b Garima but after this update, there is a chance it might n Khushi!...also the woman's eye color in prologue is brown...i guess(have to read the prolog again!)...her eye color caught my notice.

but right now i feel like praying for Anjali:((
