PART 18

Kripa had a turtle neck shirt on which was quite helpful in avoiding awkward questions that the people might have asked; she did not want anyone to ever know. It was humiliating enough without everyone knowing about it and then pitting her, she was sitting next to angad all through out the trip but she had not said a word to him after last night.

Scratches and bruises on her face were still visible, and her effort to cover them up with access of foundation has been in vain. She hated looking even in the mirror it just reminded her of the horrible night. She did not even like being kripa anymore, because her body felt contaminated.

She wished angad hadn't saved her that day from the lake, it would have been much easier, to have died then face all the new emotions and worries. Prithvi was in the back with his friends laughing and enjoying himself as though nothing had ever happened, how could she have made such a big mistake.

How could she have made such a big mistake in love? She asked herself the question for the millionth time now. It hurt her every time she saw him, half of her wanted to stab him with a knife and the other half was scarred and wanted to run away, and keep running forever. Her eyes watered with tears once more, no she wasn't going to cry, she wouldn't let herself!

"What happened kripa?" Ria said seeing her eyes watering.

"Oh nothing I think I got something in my eyes." She said forcing a smile. She hugged her bag more tightly and closed her eyes, falling asleep.

Angad was busy talking with Casey, when he looked back he found kripa sleeping peacefully cuddled into a ball

"Wake up sleeping beauty." Kripa opened up her eyes it was angad, she backed away from him realizing how close he was, she did not like anyone this close to her, anymore. But she wasn't where she was expecting to be. It was a very luxurious bedroom, and angad had nothing but his vest on this made her feel very uncomfortable almost scared.

"What am I doing here?" she said looking around

"You kind of fell asleep on the bus."

"so I should be on the bus what am I doing here." She said suspiciously, pulling up the bed sheet up to her neck

"Well it was late at night and the bus driver wanted to leave asap, and u were asleep and we did not want to disturb u so, I just thought that it would be best if u spent the night at my house… I mean especially after what happened last night, I didn't think..."

"…You though that I am too week an incapable of handling myself. All this is none of ur business angad please stay out of it." She got up to leave, "I don't need u to be there for me I can take care of myself." She picked up her bag.

Angad got up and faced her, his face had more anger then kripa had ever seen, he held her arm, to prevent her from going anywhere, "U do need me!! U have always needed me. I wasn't with u for one day and look what happened!"

She ignored him. She swung her bag over her shoulder and was about to turn the door knob to go outside, but before she could open it, she felt angad's hand on top of hers, he flattened her against the door, she could feel his breath, on her face, when he spoke his voice was soft, "Kripa, ur going to stay here tonight, I will take u to school in the morning, I have already called ur parents to let them know."

"U can't make me."

Angad raised his eyebrow, "why don't u try me then."

He left the door ajar; kripa was in no mood to argue, or attempt anything she simply sat down at the bed, with the last though in her mind wondering whose house this was…so luxurious, so beautiful.

Kripa woke up in the morning with the sun shinning through the window. She yawned. Kripa turned her head facing the other side, of the bed, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" she screamed. There was some one sleeping next to her!! 😆😆
