Shantivan

She entered with her family inside for this Puja which was kept in Shantivan . All this she didnt bother much because she was not that religious but she got a chance to be with Arnav the whole day today even if it was a weekend and she was happy with that. Arnav and Anjali welcomed them inside. Anjali concentrated more on Shashi and Garima while Arnav was there to make Khushi comfortable.

Khushi: Did you see?

Arnav: What ?

Khushi: Your sister didnt even say a Hi to me. She doesnt like me at all.

Arnav: No Khushi. She was busy with your mum and dad. Its okay. And what if she didnt say Hi? I will do it on her behalf. Hi Khushi .

She chuckled seeing his sense of humour and then dragged him inside holding his hand.

Anjali saw Khushi was all alone standing and waiting for Arnav to finish his call. She came to her.

Anjali: Uhh. I have some work for you.

Khushi: Work ? You will make the Guest work?

Anjali: Guest ? You are not a Guest Khushi. I thought you wish to be a Bahu of this house. And a Bahu needs to do all this. Dont you consider this house to be yours?

Khushi : Are you fooling me with words Anjali? I know you dont like me much then why all this?

Anjali : Me liking you or not doesnt make a difference here , Chotte likes you, he loves you and whatever I am doing here is always for his benefit.

Khushi had no idea why she poked so much nose between her and Arnav.

Anjali: I need you to make the garlands for the puja. Let me show you where the flowers are. Come.

Khushi: Garlands? I dont know how to make them

Anjali: Then learn Khushi

Khushi: Dont talk to me in that demanding tone. I dont have problem learning, infact I am doing all that which Arnav likes from past few days. Anjali: THis is good that you learning, so I wont be able to struggle much here. Come.

She was purposely trying to instigate Khushi but Khushi remained silent after this. She walked with Anjali, learnt how to make the garlands and then continued doing that work. Arnav did come to help her in between but she didnt allow him to do that.

Arnav: Its okay Khushi leave all this, I will tell Di.

Khushi: No Arnav. I am happy doing it.

Arnav: Sure? I mean Khushi Gupta weaving Garlands for Puja? SOunds funny

He gigled and she pinched his thigh to which he groaned.

Khushi: Its nothing funny in it. Where is she ? I will inform her its done.

Arnav; She is with the Priest who just came in. Might be in the Living room. Go and tell her, I am with your Dad till then.

Khushi left towards Living room and was shocked to hear Anjali's request to the Priest.

Anjali: Haan Panditji, I want you to read Khushi's face and palm and confirm if she is the right choice for Chotte or not. I really feel something wrong in their relationship. It could be my over concern for Chotte but please, if you can do this, I will be really thankful.

The Priest agreed and now Khushi realised why she was been called for this Puja. So this Anjali wanted her to be verified by their Priest ?What if the Priest tells them something odd about her? Will they all believe? She was worried now.She didnt go before the Priest and walked back in.

Since the time she had heard this truth, she was ignoring ANjali and the priest for sure. She sticked to her mother and was trying her best to look normal but she wasnt able to . Arnav had noticed some changes in her mood and he came to check if she was fine. She was going somewhere when he blocked her way.

Arnav: I am watching you from long, kuch khoyi khoyi si lag rahi ho. Kuch hua hai kya? ( I am watching you from long, you seem to be lost in some thoughts. Anything happened?)

Khushi looked down unable to meet his eyes as she didnt wanted him to see the fear in them. The fear of getting caught. He cupped her cheeks and made her look at him.

Arnav: Khushi kya hua? You can tell me, main hoon tumhaare saath. (Khushi what happened? You can tell me, I am with you.)

She knew he was there for her but she cannot tell him what was running in her mind. She had heard his sister speaking to the Priest today in the Living room asking him to study Khushi's face and hand and tell if she is the right choice for Arnav or not. What if the Priest tells this family about the Love Spell she casted on Arnav? Whatever happened she can never change but after getting Arnav in her life, she didnt wish to lose him again. What she did before in her childishness was today giving her sour fruits which she wasnt ready to taste and was thinking somehow to avoid the Priest.

Arnav kissed her forehead and she closed her eyes feeling better

Arnav: Its okay if you dont wish to tell me. Lets get inside, the Puja will start in some minutes. Come.

She was happy to see so much of understanding in Arnav for her. She held his hand and finally decided to face the Priest no matter what. They came there where the Puja was starting. The priest saw her but he didnt give much reactions as Nani asked Khushi to cover her head with the Dupatta which gave her a chance to hide her face from that Priest. Even if not fully, she was happy that atleast he wont be able to read it much.

She sat beside Arnav for the Puja and everyone else paid concentration to the Hyms that the Priest chanted. After almost an hour the Puja was over and now Anjali got a chance to confirm her issues. She introduced Khushi to the Priest and then asked him to check Arnav and Khushi's palm together.

Arnav and Khushi sat before him but Khushi was very unwilling to do this. But since everyone were sitting there she did not react much. She forwarded her palm along with Arnav's and everyone waited to know what the Priest had to say.

Priest studied their palms and disappointingly looked at Anjali.

Priest: Something doesnt match here. Looks like there is some problem in their love life.

Khushi was mad at his words. She immediately got up in anger.

Khushi: Ridiculous. I dont believe this.

Garima: Khsuhi stop. Dont speak like that.

Khushi: No Maa. I am not telling anything wrong. You know I never believed in palm reading, astrology and stuff. I am sorry everyone but this is not my cup of tea

She rushed upstairs towards Arnav's room and everyone looked at each other as she had insulted the Priest today.

Anjali: I cant believe Chotte. You sure your decision to marry her is right?

Arnav: Ofcourse Di. I love her. And she didnt say anything wrong. Even I dont believe in all this. So please, stop forcing us and especially her for doing things which is against her scope Di.

He commanded his Di and left behind Khushi to pacify her.

Arnav hugged her from behind kissing her shoulder once.

Arnav: Just brush off such thoughts Khushi. No one is forcing you to believe it. Look even I dont care what the priest just said. Its his assumption. Everything lies between us how we take this relationship ahead.

Khsuhi shoved his hands off her waist turning back.

Khushi: Why dont you make your Sister understand this? She is hell bent in proving I am not worthy for you.

Arnav sighed and took her in his arms again.

Arnav: Khushi no one but YOU are worthy for me. Thats the only truth I know and believe.

She was still not convinced and tried struggling to come off his grip.

Arnav: You want me to give a proof of my love for you ? Something which will always make you remember my words and my right on you ?

She had no idea what he meant and immediately nodded in agreement pouting at him. He smirked pinning her to the wall behind and closing the gap between them. She was expecting a kiss from him but he didnt claim her lips. His fingers gently untied the Dori of her dress and she awaited with heavy breathes to know what he intended to do with her.

Arnav: Thoda dard hoga (It will pain a bit)

He warned her and she was already losing the strength to behold his love. He softly moved the dress from her right side little lower, making her milky right shoulder visible to his hungry eyes. She was still not understanding how he would prove and what? He leaned towards that bare skin of hers and she breathed heavily shutting her eyes. His hot breathe fanned her skin for some seconds and then he bite her shoulder blade little roughly. She hissed in pain and finally came to know what he wanted to do. He had given her a hickey on her right shoulder marking his love for her. It was painful but his soft lick and then a gentle peck on it soothen everything.

Arnav: Ab theek hai? (Is it okay now? )

She didnt reply but her eyes did on her behalf. She brushed her fingers in his hair behind and pulled him for a smooch. He willingly kissed her allowing her to dominate this kiss which was her right. His hands touched her chest while kissing her madly . She willingly moved his hands on their right place allowing him to touch her everywhere the way he wished to. Without breaking the kiss he cupped her moulds and she hugged him feeling extremely shy with his actions. He knew she was bold in everything but such moments were new for both of them . He whispered in her ears.

Arnav: Toh Khushi Gupta ko sharmana bhi aata hai? (So Khushi Gupta even knows to blush ?)

She hugged him more tight not letting him see her face which was actually red blushing harder.

Arnav and Khushi both came down in few minutes . The Priest had left and the family were sitting with the Gupta's talking to them. Once again Anjali didnt look happy with what happened but she still pretended to be good with everyone here.

Arnav: Uhh.. Nani.. Di , me and Khsuhi have decided something.

Nani: WHat is it Chotte?

Arnav looked at Khushi once and then smiled at her.

Arnav: We want to tie ourselves in the knots of marriage. Very Soon.

The family was surprised but the Gupta's were happy.

Anjali: What ? But Chotte so quickly?

Arnav: Haan Di. Its time we decide to get the rituals done because we really wish to give this love a name. So lets start with the engagement. Okay?

Khushi was hugged by her mother and Nani also didnt wait to bless Arnav. They all wanted happiness in Arnav's life and if he was happy with Khushi then no one had an objection except Anjali who was still in a state of shock.
