Arnav jogged down to Khushi's house.A man came staring at the door "Hi" said Arnav "Um,is Khushi here?"
The man widened his eyes "Khushi?Khushi Kumari Gupta?" Arnav nodded "Of course she lived here.Oh I mean lives here.In fact she haunts it"
"What?" Arnav said confused.
The man nodded "This property belonged to me.I gave it to her and her family for rent.They lived here for about 2 years but then suddenly went missing.I tried to sell it to other but they would not even last a full day here"
Arnav took in everything he said in his sharp mind "So she disappeared with her family 2 years ago?" The man nodded "Can I get some more detailed information about her?"
The man nodded again "Well..she was 21 years old when she moved in.She lived here with her sister,brother in law, and their new born daughter.Khushi was a doctor.To be precise,a surgeon.She was a nice and intelligent girl.Her sister and brother in law died in an accident about a year after they moved in leaving Khushi to become the guardian of their daughter.A year later,they both disappeared"
Arnav nodded and looked at the house "So are you selling this house?" The man nodded "Great,how much?"
The man stared at him "Wait..do you want to buy this house?"
Arnav looked at him "Well I wouldn't just randomly be asking the price"

At Night 8:00 PM
Anjali widened her eyes when she found Arnav packing his bags in his room "Chotte!What is this?"
"Sorry Di.I am just taking a small vacation from home" he answered.
"What?At least look at these girls" Anjali sais shoving a fresh new batch of pictures of girl in his face.Arnav rolled his eyes 'God knows where she gets all these pictures' he thought.
"Look Di,this is exactly wha-" he stopped when his eyes caught a familiar face.He took the pictures from Anjali and looked at the second one.It was her.Khushi.In a bright red sari smiling brightly.
Anjali followed his gaze and looked at the pictures.She widened her eyes "Oh I am sorry" she said taking the picture from his grasp "You can't marry her.I heard she just disappeared"
Arnav slowly nodded and grabbed his bags "I'll be leaving for a month"
"A month?Why?"
"To get a break from all this" he said pointing at the pictures "I already explained this to Nani and she has finally agreed.Bye Di"
Anjali pouted "But-"
"No Di" Arnav said firmly.
"Fine"

Arnav opened the door to the house which now belonged to him.He looked around.All the furniture was covered by dusty white cloth.There were some spider webs in the corners of the house but no spiders.Arnav turned on the light.He placed his bags next to the couch in the middle of the room.Suddenly the lights went out.Arnav looked around and was surprised "What the" he barely whispered.The window suddenly flew open bringing cold wind in.Arnav let out a sigh and closed the window.He turned around and gasped when he saw a shadow of a woman on the wall "Who's there" he said firmly.The shadow disappeared but then he heard a tinkling sound.Like Anklets.Arnav walked towards the sound with measured steps "Who's there?" he repeated but no answer.Arnav opened the door to another room.It looked like a bedroom.Arnav walked in carefully,a bit scared.He looked around and widened his eyes when he saw what was written on the wall.
GET OUT!!!
Arnav gulped and closed his eyes tightly "KHUSHI!" he yelled as loud as he could.
He heard a small gasp and turned around.It was Khushi.Her eyes were wide expressing surprise and shock "Arnav? What are you doing here?"
"What am I doing here?" he repeated "Why the hell are you trying to scare me out of here?"
"Because this is my house" she stated.
"Oh yeah.Then why did you just all of a sudden disappear?"
Khushi gulped and took a small step back "Um..."
A loud cry broke the tension of the room.Khushi turned around and ran out.Arnav clenched his jaw and raced after her.She didn't go too far.Just a room a couple steps away.Arnav opened the door to find Khushi tending to a young girl who looked like she was only 1.Khushi smiled as the little girl calmed down and fell back asleep.She sense another presence and turned around to see Arnav.Arnav stared at her "You have a lot of explaining to do"
