Awww love the fact Akash was feeling guilty and he even apologised to khushi which was so sweet,

Arnav and his jealousy and possessiveness is always a treat to read, love the way he barged into the cabin and shouted at veer.

I'm glad Khushi did not forgive or talk to Anjali and Mami straight away, they deserved the silent treatment from her.

Loved the beautiful and sweet moment between Arnav and Khushi at the end in the garden, it was acceptance and acknowledgment of hopefully starting a new journey again.

Loved the two shot, both parts have been a wonderful read.

I can never stop myself from putting in a jealous Arnav, you know? And I am glad you liked reading that part!!

Anjali and mami were probably let off easy, but what can I say? Khushi is a good person and tries to forgive everyone 😉

And about Akash- all I can tell you is that he is the older brother I would like to have! 😃

Time, distance, new experiences and more importantly good people around oneself- all of these are imperative to heal oneself. Arnav (and Khushi's vanishing act) provided her with with three out of four. 😃

Yep, I left it at that point to signify that they had both come a long way in becoming better individuals. Khushi had become stronger, Arnav had become mellower. That was necessary, right?

Again, you are right- its the small gestures that matter in reality. Grand gesturs can be made by any fool with the right resources, but its the small things that steal one's heart!

I will definitely try and write separate one shots, but I can't promise anything as of now 😃

Yep. Arnav redeemed himself in her eyes enough so that he could at least be near her, if not with her! She needed to know that he was there for her, which he made sure she understood 😊

Spot on with this fact- that it had to be love and not attraction that brought them close this time. They both needed to become more mature and I guess time and distance helped them!

About them getting THAT elusive Diwali kiss- I was planning to write it in part 2, but I felt it would be too soon to incorporate that in this story. Sorry to leave you hanging! 😛 😆

This is a storming story! I loved that Khushi took herself away and that her own family protected her in the end...as they should have done from the start! A stronger, more independent and a little selfish for her own sake, is what I would have wanted the show to develop Khushi into. Not the martyr that she became ... Because in reality, a person is and should be deeply affected by the experience she went through and in reality it would strip her of the rosy tinted view of people. So well done for portraying this so beautifully. Loved it and especially loved the unending ending!! Redemption is what Arnav should have sought and Khushi should have taken her sweet time in giving!!

The end was ambiguous on purpose- I didn't want to end things on a bad note, but neither did I want to hasten the story just for the sake of a happy ending. I wish I could make you understand why, but its alright!

"The Unending ending" is apt for the story. 😃

Yes, Khushi's family should have helped her a lot more than what they had showed on the show, but I can always do that with Fics, ya know? 😆

You are right- reality is often harsher than fantasy. And it makes us grow up faster than we want to. Sometimes it breaks us, sometimes it makes us better than before. But it is important to grow.. Khushi started out so beautifully, and ended up being no more than an arm candy of sorts to Arnav, on the show, that it had me shaking my head in sorrow.
