this is mostly a filler esp the 2nd half- but its dedicated to all the loyal taani non fans- i couldnt help it- ignore it completely 😊
part 24 Standing down, he waved to her, blew her a kiss- standing at the window dreamily and made to walk to the gate when...Swayam!
Swayam was standing near the entrance watching him say bye to taani, parking his cycle. rey looked up to see if taani was still there but she had thankfully moved inside she wouldn't have seen swayam - thank god warna wo pareshaan ho jaathi.
"hi!" rey said trying to be casual and while his face showed his embarrassment at being caught yet again. So much for his confidence in front of her! all the nasha of his kiss had vanished in an instant!! He moved to satnd in front of swayam, the cycle between them.
Swayam looked at him with a serious expression though not so much angry , his arms crossed across his chest and said, "tumse kisine kahaan hain ki tum darwaze se nahin aasakthe? " rey shook his head stupidly. Swayam waited.
"i thought ki tum Sharon se milne gaye the?" rey tried acting normal
"so? "Swayam raised his eyebrows. Rey realised how he sounded
"mera wo matlab nahin hain...i mean All OK? ..." and stopped
"tum topic change karne ki koshish karrahe ho? mere saath?" stressing on mere
"no...sorry yaar..sach mein poch rahaan tha"
"main Sharon se milne nahin gaya tha, bas aise hi ...baahar gaya tha to clear my mind "
Rey s face with guilt," swayam im sorry ki bcoz of me..."
"dekh rey, jab dil se sorry nahin ho, tho mat bolo" swayam cut him short
Rey s face still guilty ," sorry..." closed his eyes," matlab..main ..." his hands went out," look, swayam ...u r right, tum teek keh rahe ho, main dil se sorry nahin hoon"he said awkwardly, swayam listened , frowning," main sorry nahin hoon ki main taani se milne gaya, usse dekhne gaya ...bcoz ...i was really missing her aur..." he swallowed," especially jab tum log shaadi se waapas aake uski baare mein bol rahe the...aashi, tum aur Sharon bhi..i wanted to make sure she s all right bas. Mujhe itni guilty feeling horahin thi ki meri wajah se taani s not fine...tho main sorry nahin hoon uskeliye. But i didnt tell you and .."
"exactly rey, jo tune kisiko bataye bina taani se milne gaya , usse mujhe problem definitely hain...tune mujhe nahin bataya? aur nahin Sharon ko. honestly rey, this time ek bhai se zyaada, i am more upset as a friend and why? Agar tum sure the kit um correct ho, tho chupaane ki kya zaroorat thi? "
Rey smiled slightly"kabhi kabhi life mein theres one time jab hume khudh sab kuch akele karna padtha hain...yeh meri galthi thi and so.." swayam stared at him surprised at how serious he sounded ...rey continued ," i wasn't hiding anything , mujhe kisiki yaad nahin aayi bas. Aur jab tumhaari yaad aayi, tab i was already there..and jab taani ko dekha tab i realised ki i wanted to be back with her and..." he went flashback mode remembering the past three days and shook himself..swayam noted the changing expressions from gloomy to unhappy to cheerful," ... but im sorry ki mere action se tumhe gussa aaya . mera intentions ..."
"naaraz tha..abh bhi comfortable nahin hoon but taani ko dekh kar...im happy ki wo khush hain , i mean i was angry jab mujhe realise hua ki tum taani ke ghar mein the..especially jo bhi tum dono ke beech hua uske baad.." swayam stopped, his hands showing a Q mark? rey bent his head for a second and looked up again,"i didnt expect that..i just didnt..."
"i didnt even realise swayam ki ..."
Swayam stopped him with a hand," please..i don't want to know anything. As of now, im happy ki well, tum dono saath ho..and im happy for you ...i really am..its just that ..." swayam struggled to express his confusing loyalties of a best friend and a brother
"i know.." rey intervened,"all said and done taani tumhaari behen hain and tum usse apni responsibility maanthe ho" swayams look showed he agreed," and its natural ki tum uskeliye zyaada worried honge especially jo maine kiya last time uske baad" rey smiled grimly and swayam smiled back in agrrement again," just trust me swayam, ab main aisa kuch bhi nahin karnewaala hoon jisse taani ko takleef ho, in any damn way" his tone held so much force and conviction that swayams unease reduced
" i trust you rey and im as worried about you jitna mujhe taani ki chinta hain, you know that. " rey nodded, moved to swayams side and gave him a hug saying ," thanks"both feeling better again.
"and please.. agale baar ,use the door" rey grinned and did one thumbs up, "Kisne mana kiya hain?"
"waise out of curiosity , jab tum Sharon ke ghar jaathe ho tho kahaan se jaathe ho?"
Swayam moved to the door ," window se" and walked inside leaving behind rey muttering - saala!

Some girls walked in- " hi taani!" taani smiled at them happily and replied hi back. the d3 girls came in just as one of the girls asked ," so taani? Back to st Louis?" taani laughed and shook her head ," nahin? Mujhe laga ki tumne waapas join kiya "
"no, mera kuch kaam tha, VP sir se milne aayi thi"
"okay! So..you and rey are also ... tum dono phir se saath ho?" taani blushed but didnt reply immediately,that girl looked at the other girl with her and continued," i told you! " taani smiled, while the d3 girls also smiled ," hum dono abhi abhi baat karrahe the tumhaare baare mein" the girls exchanged glances noting the gossipy tone of the girl, Sharon s irritated , taani s smile reduced- she asked," kya baat kar rahe the? "
"nothing much, just yeh ki rey aur tum kitne different ho and all you know and i don't know how you manage to..."Sharon s irritation turned to anger and she moved to the girl " listen.."but before she could say anything more
"i know" taani interrupted her,"nahin Sharon bh..sharon . wo sach hi tho keh rahin hain. " the d3 girls looked at each other," main aur rey different hi hain. rey tho smart hain ,helpful hain, itne acche dancer hain, intelligent hain , clever hain..etc., etc.," she looked at the girl and others," I know aur sabse zyaada kitne hot bhi hain.. aur main" she turned to the girl and said," aap ki hissaf se tho main... stupid hoon, dumb hoon,brainless hoon, dancer nahin hoon, Sharon jaise stylish nahin hoon haina? " she still had an amused smile on her face..
" i didnt mean it .." the girl began
"nahin let me tell you ,mera secret !" she dug inside her bag and as everyone looked surprised," here" she picked out a thread,the girl looked at her not understanding," samaj nahin aaya? Yeh babaji ka daaga hain! pooja sab karne ke baad ka. yeh aap jiske bhi gale mein daaloge na, wo aapke peeche peeche hi aayega" she said seriously ," aapne kabhi dekha nahin? Rey ke gale mein something like this?"
Loud laugh!! Aashi went into a spree of laughing and some others joined in. The girl who had taunted tried to turn away but taani held her arm and said
" you know what you should ask rey ki main unke saath kyun hoon!" and placing the daaga on her hand," you can keep this..par aap isi aur pe try karna, rey pe work nahin karega." the girl didnt take it but went away irritated and embarrassed with her friend
Aashi took off," kya baat hain! taani ab mujhe sab kuch samaj mein aarahaan hain! daaga?!" and started laughing again which the other girls including d3 joined in. Sharon gave her a hug saying, " good, you shouldn't take it lying down "
"aapse hi seekha hain Sharon bhabi" she whispered back
"waise taani, yeh sach mein kaam types kartha hain kya?" aashi picking the thread from taani s hand as rinni also looked curiosly
"what nonsense! Of course not" Sharon
"aapko tho kisi daage ki zaroorat nahin hain" aashi retorted back," hume poochne types tho do"
Sharon glared at aashi,"whatever" and walked out . simmi/rinni followed her laughing after giving taani a hug/ pat.
Aashi and taani looked at each other," tho yeh kaam types kartha hain?" aashi
"aashi ! seriously" and laughed," nahin. Sirf ek daaga kaam kartha hain- " aashi gave her a Q look," pyaar ka" she replied , blush on her cheeks returning
Aashi laughed," then tho mereliye koi chance types nahin hain! main yeh try karne waali hoon " and took the thread , making taani start laughing.

"hi " he stopped in front of them... they loked at the chain in his neck inoluntarily," did u guys see taani somewhere?" both shook their heads looking at his chain again. he looked at his chain ," what?"
laughing ...rinni/simmi/sharon..." sonali, tumhe rey se kuch poochna tha na? poocho..."simmi
"kya?" rey asked her.. without replying, she walked off leaving these girls laughing again," isse kya hua? and tum log has kyun rahe ho?" he didnt get any reply. sharon picked his chains pendant and looked at rinni/simmi ..both laughed again." what? ok chodo...taani kahaan hain?" they didnt answer but grinned...sharon," bewitched!"
rey got irritated...girls! muttered and walked back.
