Taani s room- late in the night
Taani in her usual dress , sitting on her bed , leaning on the pillow with another in her arms - smile on her face clearly in some other world.
Loud noise- taani looked at the window- rey climbed in, her smile disappeared - hey krishnaji!. She jumped up on the bed and screamed - REY! Aap yahaan ! is waqt?! and jumping down from the bed ran to the door and stood on her toes to lock it, reys fingers reached there first and he latched the door, placing his fingers on hers. She pulled them down and turned to face him, her back to the door, rey standing close in front of her , her face all anxious," rey, paagal ho kya? " her voice loud.
He placed one hand on her mouth , holding her shoulder with the other and grinned .she realised she was sandwiched between the door and rey- she struggled to move,saw his grin fade to be replaced by a stare with an unusually serious expression- she was much too close for him to resist. she raised her eyebrows questioningly and he removed his hand from her mouth. Before she could take a breath, he kissed her full on the lips forcefully taking her by surprise. It took her a second to understand what was happening and then she lost her sense of what was happening. Her arms went limp by her side , she heard her heartbeats loud and could count them if she had had the sense left to do, she felt one of his hands hold the back of her neck pulling her closer and another go down her arm to hold her fingers in a fist, her eyes closed , she felt him pressing closer, felt a strange sensation at the pit of her stomach and pressed herself back to the door . just as she lifted her free hand and placed it on his chest sensing his beats as fast as hers, he stopped suddenly and pulled himself back taking in her closed eyes , her deep breathing, her half parted soft lips , the vein on her neck pulsing .he had wanted to do this for so long, She opened her eyes and found him staring at her with a yearning that she hadn't expected- she felt the blush on her face spread to her neck and bent her head down to avoid meeting his eyes. Rey moved his hand up to her chin, lifted it up forcing her to maintain eyecontact , glad to see the effect he had on her. her hand on his chest moved up to touch his cheek, he smiled and pulling her face closer kissed her again, now more slowly giving her chance to respond. Her hands went around his neck as she kissed him back and his went around her waist. She held him tighter as his hand went stroking her back , sending warmth through her dress.
He pulled back to take a deep breath, willing his heart to stop beating so fast. Taani , with eyes closed , bent her head and placed it on his chest listening again to his heart- her hands still around his neck.
"taani" he whispered sending shivers down her spine, " r u okay?"
She smiled , head still on his chest ," aap?"
He smiled , he was definitely not fine. she looked up to catch his smile and laughed. He joined her in laughing-they held hands, both their laugh mingling with each others and waited till the amusement passed. And then gazed at each other , now slightly standing apart.
"i guess i should leave" rey smiled pushing her hair behind her ear
Taani s smile vanishd," kyun? "
"what kyun? me staying here now is definitely risky" he replied still smiling," listen" and placed her hands on his chest. She blushed but held his hands tighter and said," waise aap is waqt yahaan aaye wahin risky hain. bhai.." and turned , pushin him farther suddenly worried and checked if the door was latched.
"swayam ghar pe nahin hain. wo ...baahar gaya hain."
"is waqt? Kahaan?" knowing fully well that swayam would have gone to meet Sharon, rey didnt reply but shrugged,"he ll be back"
" but rey aap kyun aaye abhi?"
" tumhe miss karrahaan tha" he pulled her closer and held both her hands in his at his chest level
"abhi abhi tho mile na"
"ya...par...sab the, saara gang" she looked surprised, " do din se akele tumhaare saath time spend karne ki aadat hogayi thi" she smiled
"gang tho hamesha se the rey"
He looked at her , not knowing how to tell her what he felt. He had suddenly felt separated from her with the gang around- and he didnt like it, he suspected she always felt like that ,"and i wanted to say thanks"
"ab yeh kisliye?"
" for coming here taani" he put a strand of hair behind her ear looking at her in affection ," i know kit um sirf mereliye yahaan.."
She placed a finger on his lips," sirf aap keliye nahin, mereliye bhi. Hamare liye. " He pressed her finger to his lips and kissed it, " taani, agar tum waapas apne college jaana chahthi ho, tho i think you should go. I mean i realise ki tumhaara life set hain wahaan, tumhaari padhai, college,project aur friends...sab kuch change karna..." he fumbled
she cupped his face," its okay, mere liye sab kuch yahin hain. aur waise bhi yeh kuch months ke liye hain aur wo bhi agar mera project yahaan start hua tho..." he looked unconvinced," kya hua? Aap mujhe bhagaa rahe ho kya?" she joked making him smile," this time main jaane waali nahin hoon" she stood on her toes and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. Rey felt his guilt reduce with her assurance and hugged her.
she gently broke out of his hug and said softly," aapko jaana chahiye."
'ab bhagaa kaun rahaan hain?"
" itna drive kiya tho tired honge"
"tired tha, ab nahin hoon. tumhaare kiss ne saare tiredness door kardiya" he grinned while she blushed again looking little shy.
"whatever aap jao" she pushed him towards the window. He pulled her back into his arms and said, " on one condition. Kiss me back" she blushed and didnt reply ," tho main nahin jaaoonga"
"rey!" he pulled her closer, she resisted but when he didnt let her go, she smirked," okay, yahi raho. Jab bhai aayenge tab unse hi baat karlena "
He grinned more," that wont work darling . problem tho usse hogi, mujhe nahin"
"rey please jao..." she made her cute face and he sighed - nodded, kissed her on lips quickly again and before the blush on her face could settle , left her, went to the window and jumped out.
Standing down, he waved to her, blew her a kiss- standing at the window dreamily and made to walk to the gate when...Swayam!
