Part (5) -> ARSHI BREAKS ENGAGEMENT

"Bhai should not get even a single hint that di is pregnant..."

This line made Arnav Singh Raizada furious beyond limit.
"What the! Di is pregnant before marriage!
And Akash knows it!
He's telling this to KHUSHI!
And warning her I, Anjali Raizada's brother should not even get a hint!
What the!"
And he roared,
"AKASH!"

Subhadra was talking on mobile,
"What? Are you sure!"

"Yes madam! 100 %"

And Subhadra angrily cut the call..
"So, Arnav is at Temple ALONE with Khushi!
Have to do something..
Khushi is very rebellious & intelligent..
She'll NEVER let this WILL be mine!"
She remarked mentaly.

Just then, someone knocked the door, bringing her out of her thoughts.
"Come in.." She ordered strictly.

"Tensed?" Asked Lavanya entering the room.

Khushi & Akash were shocked hearing Arnav's roar..
Akash was shaking in fear..
He didn't knew whether his bhai heard anything or not .
He turned to DeviMaiya & prayed that his bhai should not have heard anything..

Arnav started moving towards Akash with pure rage in his eyes..
Looking this, Khushi was anticipating the worst.
One look at Arnav's face & she knew he at least heard last line..
She was worried for Akash as she knew his anger..

She was lost in past when they were engaged.

Flashback

Arshi were coming back to Hotel from the Party of AR success.

Arnav was driving the car in full speed. Pure rage can be seen in his eyes. His pulse vein was throbbing while his jaw clenched tightly..

For the first time, Khushi was scared of Arnav.
Though they were in contract engagement, they behaved as friends..
And Arnav never refused Khushi anything & also beared all her tantrums just like real Fiance..
But after what she said in the Party,
She knew Arnav will be angry; but never imagined him to be this much angry.

Still, she tried to strike a conversation,
"Are you angry as Lavanya proposed you in front of everyone in the Party? Speak something Arnav."

Arnav's fingers tightened around stearing.
He spoke through gritted teeth,
"What you expect me to do?
She bloody proposed an Engaged Man in front of HIS Fiance!"

"But WE ARE NOT ENGAGED FOR REAL!!"
Shouted Khushi in frustation, the same words La told her before the proposal.

Arnav became furious.
He opened the door & came to Khushi.
Pulling her out from the car, he dig his nails in her forearms,
"But in others eyes, we ARE!
Understood?
Who the
are you to accept her proposal on my behalf.?"

"YOUR FIANCE!"
Khushi shouted too.

Arnav pulled off the brakes with force. Khushi's head was almost saved from hitting to dashboard.
But Arnav didn't care this time.
He moved out & slid open the career door.
Then, he pulled her out roughly & his bloodshot eyes bore through hers.
She was afraid of him. She never saw him this angry.
"FAKE Fiance! Understood?"

Khushi was not one to back out,
"See Arnav, she loves you. And this could be your chance to life!
And moreover, I can't stand there, like a dumb, with my Fiance's secretary proposing him in front of media!"

"And what about the things we did last night in the hotel!?
We crossed every limit!"

"It is purely based on LUST,
that's what YOU told me just before..."
Khushi deliberately let the sentence incomplete.

"We didn't use protection! What if you get pregnant?"

"After effects of the act is NOT your responsibility as we just had s*x, knowing very well. Stop behaving concerned!"
Khushi replied..

Arnav pinned her to wall & started kissing her brutally, while his one hand started moving down, when Khushi stopped him.
"What happened? This is nothing new to us!"
Arnav questioned her, still trying to arouse her.

"I'm having periods, dammit!
Now ypu know fully well I'm not pregnant, right?
And from this moment,
I don't even want to see your face again!"

Arnav too, shouted back,
"Nor do I,
Miss Khushi Kumari Gupta!
Neither will we talk to each other, nor any of our family members!"

And both walked away..
This was the last time, she met him as Arnav!
Then their meets were strictly restricted to proffessional..

Khushi came out of here flashback hearing Akash's yelping in pain.
Arnav asked Akash umpteenth time to spit out the truth, hit him on his jaw, as he didn't responded..

Khushi was really worried.
"You planning to KILL him?"

But Arnav was in rage.
He asked her angrily.
"This is related to MY DI!
Who are you to interfere? I'll make sure my di aborts the child!"

This was heights for Khushi.
"Stop this behaviour of yours. You have no rights to impose your decisions on her!"

ARNAV-> She is Anjali Singh Raizada.. I've full authority on her..

Akash was scared. Not because what will happen to him. But, because he knew what disaster will happen if both of these Continued this conversation. His bhai didn't knew ANYTHING...
And he was sure Khushi Would blurt out EVERYTHING!
He knew what she is going to say & he closed his ears; not wanting to listen it!

KHUSHI-> Wrong Mr. Raizada! She WAS!
Now she Is
MRS. ANJALI VIVIAN GUPTA..
And hence, I've more rights on her.

Lavanya entered the room.
Subhadra looked at her questioningly.
Lavanya fiddled with her dupatta.

Flashback

Lavanya was sitting in her room admiring her & Arnav's photo.
"I'm all laughing & he could not even give a smile in the pic..
Still I LOVE you Arnav, the way you are.."

She recalled how she was working as Arnav's Secretary & dadi seen her admiring Arnav.

Arnav was engaged then to Khushi Kumari Gupta.

One day dadi called her at Juhu Park (Imaginery Name)

As she came there, she was little tensed..
And dadi's first question took her breath away..
"Do you love Arnav?"

Lavanya stammered, "No, why you'd ask that!"

Dadi sighed.
"See, none of them believes in love..
They both are together for their own personal benefit..
As Arnav's dadi, I want him to feel love..
Its a wonderful feeling.
But knowing both of them, they will never fall in love..
So, if you love him, then you can atleast put sincere efforts in relationship.
I know, may be, I'm sounding like a selfish woman, but I really love Arnav a lot & can't see his life getting spoiled."
Subhadra faked few tears.

Lavanya was in dilemma.
"But dadi, Khushi & Arnav, I mean. .."

Dadi made a sad face,
"Can a man & woman live together? They are just lusting, & I wanna feel them love. Will you help me, pls?"
Subhadra folded her hands..

Lavanya nodded,
"Don't enbaress me by doing this.
I'm not helping you since I, myself, love Arnav so much.
And I don't expect anything from him in return.
My love is enough for both of us.."

Subhadra, then told her about Arshi being in Bali & what to do so that Arnav gives her a chance...

As she remembered all the events sequentially, she realized she has not told Arnav till date that she met & converse with Khushi BEFORE PROPOSING HIM THAT DAY..

She now felt guilty & wanting to tell Arnav truth before they tie the knot..
But, before that she wanted to let dadi know.

Lavanya came out of her flashback hearing dadi's voice,
"You can tell me beta, what's troubling you!"

Arnav was stumped..
He stood there motionless processing her words.
He remembered the janmashtami day when Khushi showed him Vivian Gupta & his di together, with Vivian in driver's uniform.

Akash stepped in the conversation before Khushi revealed his secret as well..
"Bhai, I told her right now!"

Arnav turned to Akash.
So, he knew all along..
Before he could pounce on Akash,
out of nowhere, WATER WAS SPLASHED ON HIS FACE!

Arnav & Akash turned to see Khushi standing with tumbler in her hand..
Akash's mouth flew open..
Arnav looked at Khushi with dangerous glint in his eyes.
Khushi, who was herself angry, passed a sarcastic comment..
"TO SAVE THE OTHER PEOPLE FROM GETTING BURNED BY YOUR ANGER,
I DECIDED TO COOL YOUR HOT HEAD!"

Arnav strode towards her & before anyone can understand what's happening, he picked up the tub, kept for temple use, in which Khushi threw the tumbler, a moment ago,
& SPLASHED THE ENTIRE TUB ON KHUSHI!

Khushi was completely wet.
Her temper rose to a great extent.
Arnav smugly replied,
"My anger already cooled down with that much water..
Thank you for your help.
So, I thought returning your favour.
As your anger is much more 'Hot' than mine, I poured the entire tub!
And see, it worked! (Smiled making Khushi more angry)
Muje thanks nahi kahogi?"
He asked innocently.

Before Khushi could reply anything, Arnav strode away from there;
satisfied that he had upper hand on that Khushi.
And Khushi stood there fuming,
Not because of her siblings,
But Arnav Singh Raizada!

Akash was paralysed & Happy, yes happy.
As he felt it was perfect since they both cut each other's anger..

"Wo.. actually dadi, I came to..
I mean I want Arnav to.."

Subhadra sighed dramatically.
"I can understand you Lavanya beta..
But I've warned you before to not let that Khushi come near Arnav!
She won't let him get married to you!"

"But dadi, now we LOVE each other. And I trust him that he won't break my trust.."

"Phir wahi baat Lavanya.
Arnav doesn't even come to temple without us forcing him; & he has gone to temple with that Khushi!"

Lavanya supported Arnav,
"May be dadi they could have some work."
But she was getting little unsure as she remembered how in Conference room Khushi had barged in as if she owned the place & Arnav send her out..

Arnav was exhausted as he returned back.
In the way, he met Anjali, who greeted him with a pleasant smile, but he was in no mood to entertain her. She married secretly! Damn. That too, Vivian Gupta!
Above all, she's Pregnant!
Freaking 2 months pregnant..
Oh. The reason she is weak & fainting, is NOT some anaemia as she informed!
He could not bear this & moved to his room slamming the door hard.

Lavanya saw this. He looked tired. She thought.
Taking his black coffee, she too moved to his room..

Payal saw her in the room, & locking the door, came inside to have a talk with her.
"Khushi, I know all this is abrupt for you, but please try to understand the gravity of the situation..
Stress is very harmful in such kind of situation.
& Vivian loves Anjali. However happened, she is our bhabhi.
And she's bearing Vivian's child, our neice.
She needs rest the most.
Am I right, Khushi?"

Khushi turned with a determined & steely gaze,
"No, you're not right."

Payal's eyes moistened.

Arnav hugged Lavanya,
"Arey, she dragged Akash from our office."

Lavanya was confused,
"Akash was with you?"

Arnav nodded.
"You know Lavanya, she was right. We both got love in our life; getting out from that namesake relationship. Thanx Lavanya for
PROPOSING ME IN THE PARTY AS I WAS NOT ABLE TO RIDICULE YOU..
THAT WAS A PERFECT PLAN.
AND HOW CAN I FORGET THAT LETTER?
I LOVE THE WRITER OF THAT LETTERS!"
Arnav smiled, recalling those memories..

Lavanya could not hide this.
She was feeling guilty hiding this from him!
She was breaking from inside, because everytime, she wanted to forget that phase, as guided by dadi,
She was reminded by Arnav himself!
It was Khushi's plan to propose him in the party. She was scared & even refused Initially, but Khushi convinced her.
SHE NEVER WROTE ANY LETTERS.
ALL THE LETTERS WERE SEND TO HIM BY KHUSHI!

This always made her feel like a traitor.
Sometimes she feels this love is not for her.
As Arnav didn't fell in love with her, but with those letters.
Initially, he was doubting,
but as one time she cried & got fever, he stopped questioning, since then.

Arnav saw her lost in thoughts.
"Damn. I should not remind her of letters.
She might have gone through so much. Those letters clearly described her pain..
And, I yet again, reminded her of that!"
He thought to himself.

To divert her attention, he cupped her face, & took her lips in a soothing kiss.

"No, you're NOT right."
Khushi said with a steely determined gaze.
While Payal's eyes moistened.

"Bhabhi" Khushi turned to face Payal, who was shocked hearing 'bhabhi' from here mouth.

Khushi smiled., "Yes. Bhabhi needs bhai the most.
And till when will she hide about her pregnancy? She's already 2 months pregnant.
Don't you think
VIVIAN GUPTA IS A COWARD who has left his pregnant wife all alone?
Why not marry her ritually & give her & his baby the name & respect??"
Khushi completed, eyeing at Vivian, who had just entered the room & was left sperchless.

Vivian hugged Khushi for understanding & promised,
"I'll reveal to world
Mrs. Vivian Gupta
after your & her brother's marriage!"
Payal too joined the "siblings hug".

They were happy..
Too much happy to be precise.

MEHENDI DAY

There was lot of hustle bustle in Gupta Mansion as well as Raizada Mansion.

And why not?
Today was Mehendi ceremony.
Khushi was very much excited.
As the girls started teasing her, on name of Shyam ji,
she blushed.
The mehendi girl already reacher her palm.
Before she could excravate the design,
she stopped her.
"This is my hand. And you won't write my name in it.
I want my name written in most artistic way."

The mehendi wali tried to explain her that the name can be written together, no need to write separately.."
But Khushi quietened her..
"I know what you want to say."

Akash cornered his Di.
Finally, he got a chance to ask his Di if she's alright.

"What happened to me?" Asked a confused Anjali..
Poor she! She didn't read Akash's message.

Akash then revealed her,
"I told Khushi the truth & bhai..."

But Anjali became deaf ear & didn't gave Akash a chance to complete his sentence..
She rushed to her room, followed by an impatient Akash, but Anjali didn't listened him..

As Anjali was going out, Akash questioned her,
"Where are you going Di?"

"To calm Khushi if she's angry & to be besides Vivian in his difficult time.."

"Di, are you crazy? You can't go there. Its Khushi's mehendi too.
And your presence is needed in YOUR CHOTE's mehendi!
And you can't leave it for someone.."
Shouted Akash, frustated.

Anjali was determined,
"He's My HUSBAND! Not someone..
And I can't leave him alone to take blame when even I am part of it.
And, Akash you WILL handle my absence here.."
