Awesome updates. Though I miss having ur PMs but I understand. I have one more chap to read. But so far I really enjoyed khushi's spirit and Arnav's support. Hope devayani will not create problems for them as it looks like she doesn't like them to be together. Will we can only hope. I wish though Khushi could reveal all to Arnav . But hope soon.

In this FF Arnav has suffered and has rebounced from the dark to go on to create the success story AR... but in his personal life even today he unknowingly seems to be walking down a path where so many people from behind the curtains and unknown factors are drawing and pulling strings in his life...he is rather being led than leading or taking the reins of his life in his hands and decide for himself and he is unaware of such a situation...its a pity 😭

thanx for the update...pls continue soon 😃

Part- 35

Khushi was waiting in a corner for her brother when she felt somebody picking her up wounding an arm around her waist. She was about to yelp but sensing who it was she could only smile and the person spun her around and she laughed against all her pain, she really laughed feeling light and secure in her brother's arm for the first time. She heard him say in sing a song way, "Pariii DIii, You are here..." the disbelief apt in his voice.
Khushi screamed, "Get me down Abhi. My head is spinning. Please"
The person kept her down soon and came before her grinning ear to ear.

Introducing Abhi aka Abhilash (the name means Desire couldn't help ):
Vivian Dsena

Khushi couldn't help but smile fondly at her small brother, well not so small.
He was about 5 ft 9-10 inch tall almost 5-6 inch more than her. He had a well toned body thanks to his new found gym interest and boy! He looked good rather say hot. He was the most handsome person after her father and before Arnav in her life. Abhilash her brother.
He was about 22 years old. Just a year before, he had graduated from his BE school with very good marks and had bagged a job in a renowned MNC even before he had left the college. In just six months he had got the opportunity to come abroad.

He had been in Atlanta initially before moving to Johannesburg, SA with a promotion and a hike in his salary, last month.

What more Khushi could have asked for her brother? He had a good life and he was happy for him.

**
Abhi had sensed a gloom in his normal not so cheery but warm Pari Di since she had called him with a request that now she wanted to live with them and finish her study here. So if he could arrange her admission in some business school in Johannesburg.
He couldn't have been happier.
Since he had started working all he wanted to take care of the two most important people in his life, Ma and Paridi. Especially Paridi.
He knew that she had always been sacrificing whenever given a choice between his wish and hers. He knew that she was always protective of him. She was always there for him whenever he needed her. She was almost a second mother to him and now too.
Yes he had felt guilty for ignoring her amidst of his studies and friends but he wanted to make up for that. If only she gave a chance.
By the time he had started trying to bridge the distance; she had seemed far away to reach and had very politely denied all his effort to support her emotionally and financially.
But she had never ever accused him for being ignoring, rather she had been very understanding and pillar of support for him. Very gratefully she had always accepted whatever gift he had got for her with a content smile, but that's it. She didn't let him do anything more than that in this one year he had been working.
Now he had a chance to make up for all of the ignorance form his end to his Di and finally be the protective brother of his Di.
But why he felt that she was hurt, wounded deeply. What was it he could see in her eyes but she was hiding behind her smile. He wanted to know but let it be for the time being, and he was also not sure if she would tell him. Hence he chose to engage her in light talk about his work and workplace, mostly funny incidents to make her smile.
**
Before Abhi could press the doorbell it opened and there stood the lady Khushi was so yearning to see for so long and she didn't wait a single second before wrapping her arms around her.
Suhashi too took her daughter in her embrace longingly, but she frowned as her mother instinct told her something was wrong with daughter.
Well if she had her doubts before now it was clear.
She exchanged a look with Abhai and found her son had sensed it too so she nodded before parting form Khushi and beaming at her warmly.
Khushi finally felt she could relax. Her pain would not leave her but she could found some solace in her mother's lap and her brother protection. She could leave them to worry for her sometime. So she walked in with her mother followed by her brother.
**
Arnav stormed inside RM and went straight in his room and closed the door finally shutting himself from the world, wounded and defeated.
Akash and Anjali only stared after him not daring to approach him now.
**
He sat on the floor leaning against the bed. Knees dragged close to the chest and arms resting on them. Head on the surface of the bed, face turned upwards and eyes closed.
His face dry but not for long. It was just a matter of few moments before a memory of her would flash behind the close eyelids and the stream of tears would follow shortly.
He was sitting like this since he had come three hours back.
If you wonder that Arnav Singh Raizada had accepted defeat in love and gave up on Khushi so easily then you are wrong.
As soon he had come out form the primary blow after seeing the empty cupboard, the note and the bracelet, he had sent his men to search for her everywhere.
In last twenty four hours they had searched every place where she could go with Arnav barking and ready to bite their tail in every now and then. They had looked after every possibility and then finally the men who had been checking the Domestic and International flight passengers list from the help of commissioner had informed him that a girl named Khushi Gupta had traveled in one of the fight to Johannesburg but that's it.
What confused him was that she always had told him that Abhi had been working in US, then why did she go to Johannesburg in South Africa. Did she lie to him? But why? And if not, then what she was doing alone in that big city.
His people had told him that it was easy to find out where she had gone because in India they had sources. But in that city to find out sources and then to find out a girl in such a huge city and population would take a long time and in between if she decided to move in some other part of the world then it would be next to impossible to find out a person with a clean background.
Hence Arnav Singh Raizada finally broke and succumbed to tears and only questions whirled in his mind was ...
Why?
How could she?
Did he fail to make her believe on his love?
And was it so easy to go away?'
He knew that she would be as miserable as him then why did she choose to make both of them suffer like this?
Finally his worst fear came true once again.
And third time in his life Arnav Singh Raizada sobbed, whimpered, bawled and screamed in the confine of his room breaking and smashing every object he could find in his reach.
**
Mamaji , Mami and Devyani, who had just entered RM heard the pain filled scream with already present Anjali and Akash in there and could only shut their eyes tight feeling the agony in his voice.
Anjali and Akash instantly rushed towards his room followed by Mamiji. Devyani too hurried after them but found a body blocking her way and as she looked up shocked, she found Mamaji standing on her way.
She tried to glower him away but he didn't budge and shocking her more, out of her wits, he said in a steely cold voice, "Ab bas Amma, aur nehi." he shook his head despising her and jogged up the stairs towards Arnav's room.
Unable to believe Deavyani stared after his son who just distanced her from her only hope, her elder grandson, would be emperor of Raizada Empire.
She slowly descended the few steps she had climb and walked away to her room thinking, this was just momentary lapse, and her grandson would come around. She couldn't and she wouldn't let that girl win the challenge, she had so blatantly thrown on her face.
**
Khushi sat looking out of the window. Suddenly a sob wrecked her whole body. She felt like a knife twisting in her heart and she found herself asking to herself, "What if he didn't come?"
Her mind drifted back to the last night of Sheesh Mahal...
"Aap?" She was surprised seeing the person before her and as she noticed the grim on his face she at once got alarmed knowing this isn't a fleeting visit.
He asked, "May I come in?"
Khushi nodded and he walked in closing the door behind.
"Yes Mamaji how can I help you?" Khushi was the first person to break the creepy silence in the room.
Mamaji turned to look at the girl whom he knew when she was just eight years old, a shy, submissive, cute kid. Now looking at her he suddenly felt proud, how bold and strong she had become, but the cuteness normally missing, rather it was the hard exterior of her seemed almost impenetrable, exception his nephew, and all thanks to his mother and the slimeball brother in law of his.
Scoundrel. Repenting my foot.
He forwarded the file in his hand to her.
Khushi looked at it questioningly but took it anyway, and started turning the pages reading the important pats on them, as he instructed through his eyes.
Khushi went through the pages carefully. Her eyes grew wider with the severity of the fact but she didn't lose her calm as she looked straight into the eyes of the man, who looked torn between the right and the wrong and also in his between the conflict of his mind and heart.
"I already know about this", Khushi tried to sound confident though she felt anything but, after reading the reports.
"I assumed that." said Mamaji. He needed to probe. He needed to know the extent of her love for Arnav, "though I am sure you didn't quite understand the severity of the issue."
"I won't say I did completely but I didn't take it lightly too." She said the truth.
"Do you really think Arnav would be able to handle if you said him everything?" Mamaji asked seriously.
Khushi smiled as she said, "I do hope so and don't forget he will have my support; I won't let him drown to the darkness again."
He visibly relaxed. It was not her words but her confidence in herself and her love reflecting from her whole aura made him feel light. He just needed to know a little more.
"But Khushi I still didn't understand why did you help Avinash Malik, when given a chance I would have killed him myself for making my sister's life hell and also for his uncountable sins, then why did you? Just because he was dying you felt pity?" Disbelief quite evident in her voice.
Khushi laughed humorlessly before she said in a voice that had a dark amused tone "I would have to be a saint for helping a person like Avinash Malik in spite of all his deeds, just because he was dying and repenting. Don't you think so?"
"No repent of his could bring back my father, my lost childhood or reduced the pain of my mother of living a life without the person she loved the most and live life without the life partner so long.
My small brother who had craved for his father's love, for his buddy to play, to answer all his boyish questions but never he had been able to get all these, and no one I mean no one could fulfill the void even his Pari Di. Because of that one bloody scumbag fraudster Avinash Malik " Khsuhi was breathing fire by now, her voice was low but her words were mincing.
Mamji didn't flinch or react. In her place he would have used more vocabulary for that rascal.
"As I was saying Mamaji I am not saint not even near, so I took my sweet revenge alright", she sneered.
His eyes looked at hers puzzled.
She continued, "What a person wants most in his later life, to die peacefully right? Mamaji nodded, and looking confused, But I didn't let him." She didn't played with the words. She was direct.
His eyes grew wide as she said, "When he had come to my PG in Mumbai for the first time he had felt familiar but I couldn't really recognize him. His eyes were much known yet I was confused."
Khushi walked towards the table to drink some water and continued conversationally, "But as soon as he told his name my confusion was clear and you know what I just wished that if I could have kill him with my bare hand. She sighed but that wasn't possible at that moment instead I heard him carefully."
"I was ecstatic knowing that I have the card to play him in my hand and I was planning to do just that when those stupid shoot him when he left my PG."
She concentrated on the glass on her hand, "I wanted to leave him there to die like a dog as he killed my father but I couldn't. I was shocked, frightened, panicked to see him in the pool of his own blood and I had realized there and then that I am not Avinash Malik to let a person die like that and also I wanted him to know that who I am."
"Hence I had called the ambulance and police to help him. But soon I knew that he wouldn't survive and then He had asked me to take the responsibility to passing those papers to its rightful owner, so he could die in peace." She chuckled darkly and Mamaji could only wonder what was coming and she didn't make him wait.
She looked at him her eyes cold and steely as she said, "And I didn't let him"... she recalled the exact conversation she had with Avinash Malik that day,
As she entered the ICU he saw him almost dead, gulping for air though he had the oxygen mask on his face. It felt like he was fighting death for few more minutes to finish his last business.

She sat beside him, her eyes had no pity for the man before her but only loathing.
Sensing her presence he started talking in a frail voice, huffing and pausing to draw breathe in between, "Beta I thought I had time... I... thought... I will be able to fool them... I... thought... I will be able to finish my last job... so I can sleep in peace... but I couldn't... tears escaped from the corner of his eyes but she did nothing to wipe them, Beta... I have already burdened you... with the responsibility to keep the file safe... please do me a last favor... she looked at him alarmed now what he will ask her to do, please... think it of a dying man's... last wish... who has no one in this world just you... a known stranger to help him... he stopped as speaking became the toughest job as his lung failed draw much needed air and he said his last wish in a chocked voice, please... pass... that file... to its... rightful... owner... for me."

She opened her mouth to say something but he continued, scared that he won't be able to speak anymore if he stopped, "...you... have... to... do... this... please" He begged in whisper.

"But how can I..." Khushi tried to protest but he said again, "Please... beta... I have... no one to ask... Please." He choked on the last word; the beeping machine connected to him indicated that his heart was failing him. She jumped to call the doctor but he stopped him holding her hand lightly with little strength he had left and mouthed without sound, "Please, last wish."

Khsuhi couldn't deny anymore. She remembered once his father said Be the better person and let go. Let your heart decide the right and the wrong, cause brain sometime fails you but heart doesn't' so the decision was made,

OK I WILL...

She took the responsibility knowing that she wouldn't back out like always, but this man didn't have to know that. Why she would give him the chance to die in peace when he didn't let a single human being around him live peacefully and her father, he killed him just to save his filthy ass. Who knew that it was just his father and no one else?
NO she could not let him die so easily and the decision was taken, she called him and saw him opening his eyes with difficulty. The corner of her lips lifted as a show of smile.
She said conversationally, "Mr. Avinaash Malik don't you want to know whom you really trusted with responsibility of your last wish?"
He tried to smile and mouthed "I know, Khushi"
Khushi smiled too but her voice didn't have the smile but a chill when she said, "Well I fogoot to mention you my full name, its Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada, that's my full name and before you mistake my father's name is Khushal. Shekhar. Gupta. Singh. Raizada." She punctured every word for a better impact and it had the desired effect as she saw with satisfaction Avinash Malik's eyes grew wider as if they would come out from their socket and his heartbeat raced on the machine as he tried to speak something.
She said again her voice never been in so much control, "Yes Avinash Malik I am Khushal and Suhashi' Daughter Pari and you know I know everything, you know right?"
He was struggling hard to gulp some air to get some words out of his mouth but the shock had caused him a heart attack and he was beyond repair now.
Khushi continued "Who knows if I would be able to fulfill your last wish or not", her voice and demonure so calm that it felt the calm before the storm, "who knows what was my father's last wish? Who knows what he really wanted to see before he had closed his eyes forever, maybe he wanted to see his Pari. His buddy, his Suhashi, maybe he wanted to see all of us, his family but your men made sure he couldn't in your order."
" Who knows how helpless he would have felt when he knew that he wouldn't be able to go back to his family again, he wouldn't be able to laugh and pass time with them, how torn he would have felt that time when he knew that he couldn't fulfill his responsibilities ever again?" She had leaned on him by now looking straight in his eyes as she said with sadistic smile, "but maybe you will know now? Do you feel it Avinash Malik? Tell me how it feels to feel helpless? Do you feel the desperation? Do you feel the unfulfillment? Do you feel the hopelessness? The pain? "
He was writing thrashing by now on his bed but Khushi didn't try to call anyone she just watched but her eyes were crying. She was not cruel or sadistic but her hatred was stronger than her forgiving nature and she let hatred rule for this once as her father's torn body flashed before her eyes hence she stood there immobile.
He just managed to speak two words, Fo..Fo... For... give m...me.
"Never", came out instantly from her mouth and it felt he had been waiting for her to disagree as with her last word he closed his eyes slipping into oblivion forever with the illusion that his last wish would remain incomplete.
**
Shocked would be underestimate what Monohar felt right now. Eyes wide, slack jawed he stared at the girl before him.
Had he ever thought she could be so hard-hearted in any point of time, yet she didn't look pleased of proud with what she did with Avinash Malik but she wasn't regretting or repenting too. Because it was the right thing to do for her.
She couldn't and shouldn't forgive that man.
But she hadn't punished anybody wrongly and she had no wish to punish Arnav for his father's deeds.
Mamaji now smiled a smile of relief startling Khushi a little, She was strong enough to fight Devyani Singh Raizada. He knew for sure now.
**

SO Happy Friends. I managed to write this update before I leave. Hopefully you will get one or two updates while I am off to Calcutta my hometown, if I get the internet connection working there.

Well little about the update:
Guess you have got a little clue about what to expect, if not then wait for the next chapter...
But sure enough Khushi had her reasons to leave. Not fair for Arnav, I know but don't worry he won't suffer long, I love him too much to make him suffer that much

And, now you know Khushi has taken her revenge from Avinash Malik in her way, but carefully has hidden that part of the story from Arnav. The bold later part. Now the only person know after her is Mamaji. the conversation between the two will continue in next part... till then bye take care and bye.

That was absolutely a breath holding update.
Loved it and guess Khushi has her unique way to take revenge yet does not feel good about it!
Glad that Mamaji showed his displeasure and disgust to his mother and all worried about Arnav!
How will he react when he sees his Nani in her true colours???
Waiting for the next update.

Have a lovely trip dear.

I loved it.
So Mamaji had a chat with Khushi.
Mama is on Khushi's side.
I support Khushi in how she treated Arvind Mallik.
He deserved a lot worse than he got.
So Khushi is waiting for Arnav to find her.😕
