@Pritam
It may not be a huge deal when we read, but the reason why Ginny wants to change her subject is wrong. Her passion is Fashion Technology(which I probably will mention later) but she wants to change that just because she wants to be with her friends and is scared of making new friends is not right.

She may be scared because she knows her parents might deny it. Changing course is not easy. Its a huge procedure again. Ginny needs to convince her parents well if she wants to change the course. Does she have a valid reason?

Speeding. Yes. Its wrong especially after getting a warning. I still am thinking if I should stretch this part, or end it quickly with a talk.

Sweety always did over react for everything. Whenever I write her, I wonder if someone like Sweety actually will exist.😆

Another issue..is restrictions. What's the level that should be imposed for a boy of Rocky's age.

oh then i did not get the ginny's topic at all. LOL.
I thought its not a big deal to change subjects because she wants to reconsider, it happens with many. No?
But she likes fashion technology but taking english due to peer pressure, i did not realise it as it was not clear when i read. Haha. Btw its a great topic, bring the peer pressure angle, i think you will. LOL.

Rocky.. Yes! He is doing wrong, but over-restriction does make a young boy or girl stubborn.. If sweety would have understood calmly then most probably rocky would have acted different. You need both your hands for a clap. Maybe restriction is very much needed but still, a college guy and a school guy should not be restricted in a same way. And giving freedom is also as equally important as putting up restriction. Too much of restriction will explode it.

I will get it clear in the next part. I am as confused as Ginny...😆
Changing subjects to reconsider career is different. But changing subjects so that you will become comfortable is not right. Same thing happened with Rocky(little different though) when he wanted to take arts because it was easy.

Rocky. When it comes to speeding he is wrong. At the same time, do you feel boys of his age with understand quickly or instantly when parents put some sense? Won't they be tempted to do it again?

That's where Sweety needs to control herself. I think I need to focus of parent's dilemma along with kids and also show some growth in her character which never happened in the show

not comfortable because she wont have her regular friend around in her preferred course? Yeah. Thats not right. She shouldn't back out from her favorite course only because her friends' aren't doing it along with her. But again its her choice, nobody is forcing her to reconsider. She herself wants to do so.

Rocky. Yeah. Speeding thing is bad. But communication can definitely make rocky realise especially when some sensible person like lucky ji will sit down with him and conversate. If not that, i guess reality check important for young minds. He knows its dangerous but still thinks he can control. But at emergency times, controlling yourself also fails. I think rocky needs to be shown some cases of accidents where speeding was the reason. Reality check works best.

What I am going for is, how Ginny feels awkward in her new class even though she has taken her favorite course. There is no guarantee that she will like Eng Literature. This decision of hers is very impulsive. Again, a good talk will help.
Do you think it will look good for the story if Lucky handles Ginny's case and Sweety handles Rocky's? Is that possible? Honestly, I feel monotonous writing Lucky handling situations all the time 😆 which is true...😆 But...is the other way around possible?

Speeding. Rocky definitely understands the risks but his confident or over confident that he is careful. He needs to understand that him being careful alone is not enough as there are others who drive rashly too. Reality check will be the solution I feel.

@AB Its not for the mazaa 😆 But will Sweety be able to handle Rocky or I should put it other way around, will Rocky be able to handle Sweety? Why will he? If she interferes so much.

I mean to say, let the situation go around it. First, Sweety handling hard way, then Lucky's calm way. 😆
Maze ka maza, lesson ka lesson. 😎

Part 3

Scene 6

Rocky enters the house and finds his family waiting for him. Sweety gets up angrily. Lucky signals her to keep calm. Rocky looks at them waiting for some strong reactions. Lucky goes up to him.

Lucky: Had dinner?

Rocky shakes his head no. Lucky gestures him to go to the dining. Sweety joins the father and son at the table asking Ginny to serve them. Rocky is not scared or nervous as he used to be before. He is eager to know what his parents have to tell him. He is waiting to talk to them as well. The three at the table start eating.

Lucky: Rocky! I am sure you know what the matter is?

Rocky: Yes Dad! I am sorry that I was speeding. But I was careful. There were not many people or vehicles on the road. So there was nothing to worry about.

Lucky: (casual) I understand. But isn't it wrong to speed?

Rocky: (thinks, conversational) Yes. But it is not harmful.

Lucky: Why not? You boys weren't even wearing helmets. It could be fatal if something...

Rocky: (getting impatient) Dad, Nothing happened right? Nothing will happen also. I have a license. I know to drive a bike well. I haven't caused any accidents. Have I?

Lucky: (calmly) It's not about causing accidents Rocky. It's about being careful. I don't want my son to do something against the rules. I don't want my son to be in any trouble.

Rocky: (cool and calm) Dad! Don't worry. I can take care of myself. I will not get into any trouble. I will wear helmets from now on. Fine? (smiles)

Rocky realises his father is right about wearing helmets.

Lucky: (smiles) Good to know. So you will not speed from now on? What about the promise you made that you won't drive above 50kms?

Rocky is silent. He cannot make another false promise. He cannot stay away from speeding. He loves the excitement. It's more of a challenge for him. He decides to tell openly that he cannot be without speeding but will be extra careful and will not speed on public roads. He will join a racing academy and ride there. Sweety had been controlling hard not to interrupt the conversation, but not anymore.

Sweety: Why are you asking him Luckyji? (pauses) Rocky! This is your last warning. You will not speed anymore. That's final. And you will ride only your bike. Who gave you permission to lend your bike to others?

Lucky: (shocked at the sudden interruption) Sweetyji! You please remain silent. I am speaking with him right? Yes...Rocky!

Rocky: (irritated with his mother) Dad! Why are you asking me? Ask Ma. She is making all my decisions. I have no freedom in this house.

Ginny looks at her father to control the situation. Lucky realises things are going out of hands.

Sweety: I am your mother and I have all the right to make decisions for you.

Rocky: What?!!! This is unbelievable. I am 21 and capable of leading my own life.

Sweety: Let me see how you do that?

Lucky: Sweetyji! Calm down. Rocky! Go to your room. Ginny! Take your brother inside.

Rocky: (surprised) Wait Dad! Ma..Why did you ask me to come home immediately? For this? Can't this wait? I told you I and my friends are doing a group project...

Sweety: Group project?! Really? Where did this project suddenly come from?

Rocky: (controlling his anger) Dad! I have an important project presentation and demo tomorrow for which I and my friends were working at Ashwin's house. If we are successful, we would be able to implement the project in their company and they will pay us for that. It will be a starting point for our career. But Ma..

Sweety: Why couldn't you do that work in the time you bunked college and was enjoying outside?

Rocky: (angry) Ma!!! I wasn't enjoying outside. I and my friends were going for a meeting with the manager of the corporate who is in charge of this project. (frustrated) Do you even know what I am doing?

Sweety: (bluntly) No!

Rocky: (unbelievingly) Then why do you interfere? Why do you question on something about which you don't know?

Lucky: (angry) Enough!!! Rocky! Go to your room.

Rocky: But Dad!

Lucky: (loud) Rocky!

Rocky gets up frustrated and leaves the table, moving towards his room.

Rocky: (murmurs at his mother) Just few more months and then I will be INDEPENDENT. You will interfere only when I am here right. I will never live here. (closes the door)

Lucky: (calm) Ginny! Go to your room.

Ginny leaves. Lucky looks angrily at Sweety. Sweety goes to her room in an angry hush.

Ginny is in her room, sitting on the bed. She still hasn't discussed with her parents regarding her course change. She gets a call from Payal.

Ginny: Yeah Payal! No yar..I haven't spoken with my parents. There had been other problems at home. (listens) What?! By tomorrow? Who told? (waits) Oh! So the professor is your mother's friend and she said? But yar...How will I convince by tomorrow? (listens) That's true. Their mood can't get worse. Ok! I will speak with them now. Just pray everything should go on well. (listens) Thank you..Ok Bye!

Scene 7

Sweety is pacing in her room. She is furious with her son. Her son has not been listening to her for some time now and has started back answering her. She is unable to control him. She wants to protect him all his life. She doesn't want anything bad happening to him. Lucky enters the room, looks at his wife once and sits on the bed silently. He has never been able to make his wife understand. Sweety sits on the sofa opposite him.

Sweety: Luckyji!

Lucky: Sweetyji! I don't want to discuss about anything.

Sweety: But Luckyji! What mistake did I do? I just tried to make Rocky understand that there are rules and restrictions in our house which he needs to follow. But..

Lucky: Sweetyji! How old is Rocky?

Sweety: 21.

Lucky: (controlled anger) He is an adult, who can take care of himself and make his own decisions. Allow him to explain his stand before jumping on him.

Sweety: (irritated) Yes! I am the culprit. It's always me who is wrong. You are right. Your children are right.

Lucky leaves the room angrily. His wife always reaches this end when she is unable to argue anymore.

Rocky is working on his laptop. He is unable to focus. He feels choked in the house. He is not allowed to do things on his own or take his decisions. He is praying his project gets passed. The company he is doing the project for is also coming for recruitment drive in his college. He will have high chances of getting employed in the company if his project gets selected. More than getting the job, he wants to lead his own life. There is a knock on the door. Rocky opens the door, looks at the person and stands near the door blocking the way.

Rocky: Now, what do you want? You also have something to say?

Ginny pushes her brother and goes inside and sits on a chair. Rocky closes the door and gets back to his work.

Ginny: Bhaiya!

Rocky: (angry) What?

Ginny: Seems like even you are not in a good mood.

Rocky: (irritated) You cannot see that? What do you want Ginny?

Ginny: First you tell me. How do you feel? (smiles)

Rocky looks angrily at Ginny. He then realises, it will be better for him to talk about the issue.

Rocky: Yar Ginny! I am fed up. How many times this have happened? Every time Ma takes my decision.

Ginny: It's nothing new.

Rocky: (thinks) I know what Dad was telling was right. But I was being careful. I was trying to explain that there was nothing to worry about. I can take care...but Ma?

Ginny: Why don't you speak with Ma and tell her openly that you don't want her to interfere?

Rocky: And listen to high level drama with rona dhona dialogues? No way!

Ginny: So?

Rocky: I am planning something. But now is not the right time. (pauses) Now you tell, why did you come here? What do you want?

Ginny smiles. Her brother always understands her. Ginny tells her brother about her problem. She tells him about how she wants to change her course. Rocky listens to her.

Ginny: Now you tell me. How shall I convince for my choice?

Rocky: (thinking) Do you think your choice is right? Is it correct to change course just because your friends are not there?

Ginny: But Bhaiya? I want to be with my friends. It will be fun. Help me please?

Rocky: Look Ginny. There is only way. You have to inform Dad and Ma. You have to get their assent definitely. But since you don't have time, speak with Dad first. He might understand you and make Ma understand.

Ginny: But he is not in a good mood too.

Rocky: Ginny! Seriously I think you need to reconsider your decision.

Ginny: Bhaiya! I am sure. Just help me speak with Dad.

Rocky sits thinking. He understands his sister is making an impulsive decision. But he is sure his parents will make her understand.

Rocky: Ok! I'll help. I will bring Dad to a good mood. But after that you need to speak. I cannot do the speaking.
