Chapter 13His lips lingered for a long time near her lips when suddenly he jerked out and took his hand away,striaghtening up.He felt a sudden pang of guilt run through him.He couldnt lose her trust.He covered her properly again and walked out of the room.The long night was now disturbing him.

Sameer walked outside ashamed and angry at himself. He knew he was crossing his limits and it wasnt right.The changes that had happened into him in a couple of days were suddenly frustrating him.
A few silly words about love and relationship from others and a few close encounters with her and a few days of stay with her couldnt have changed him so much.He had always believed in loyalty,whether it was with his words or his relations.
Aisha was drunk and what he was doing with her was completely taking an advantage of her drowsy state.Aisha had trusted him beyond anything else and had stayed with him in the same room even when there wasnt any such situation which morphied her to stay with him.
But last night he had crushed hard her trust underneath his petty physical desires.He was feeling guilty for the fault which he couldnt quite forgive himself.He ran a hand in his hairs while the filter filled the glass with water.
He drank the water and walked out to the couch in the living room.He lied down trying to calm his throbbing heart and the disgusted feel of his hands.
His sleep broke with the sound of utensils coliding and a strong aroma of boiling tea which filled the whole room.He streached his neck towards the kitchen door and found a glimpse of her blue track suit,walking around the kitchen.
A pang of guilt engulfed him again and he sat up on the couch.The half filled glass was still kept on the table in front and he picked it up to his lips.His throat was dry and no water on this earth could quench his thirst.
He sat there silently when aisha brought in a cup of strong tea for him.He looked at the cup and then to her face but before he could speak a word aisha smiled and greeted him a 'good morning.'
It could have been the best morning in his life,if the remorse from the earlier night events had not clouded his mind.It was unfortuately the worst feel for him after what he had done last night.He took the tea cup silently and sipped in a little and kept it back on the table.
Aisha had woke up early today.The headache,the messy room and finding herself alone on the bed brought a fearful expression on her face.She remembered some events from the earlier night though
not all,specially the time after the dance was over.
But the fact that no harm was done to her even in her unconcious state, contended her that sameer didnt break her trust on him.She walked down to the living room and found him sleeping there on the couch,hanging his legs from the long back.The scene itself made her heart satisfied a hundred folds.
She quickly freshened and walked to the kitchen to make herself a cup of tea.Thats the only thing that worked well with her headaches.She looked out and found sameer moving on the couch,raising his arms on his head to support them from falling down.She smiled and added another cup of water to boil.
She was arranging for breakfast when she saw him sit up and brought in the tea for him.She had expected an angry face or a sarcastic one atleast but his face was blank and his eyes were confused.She greeted him but didnt get the proper response.
Sameer kept the team cup on the table and stood up,yawning from the lack of sleep.He turned and stepped towards his room but aisha called him back and he stopped in his tracks.
'Thanks sameer,'she spoke up,
Sameer stood facing his back to her but tilted his head to see her through the corner of his eyes,silently.
'kal maine bohot enjoy kiya,aur sab tumhare liye,thanks aur tum kitna acha dance karte ho,pehele kyu nehi bataya?'she asked him excited,
'mein tumhe sab kuch batao ye zaroori to nehi hai aisha?'sameer replied back calmly and stepped towards the door again but aisha's voice again stopped him,
'nehi zaroori nehi hai,per ye conpliment tha,kam se kam ek thanks to banta hai na boss,'
Sameer kept silent.Aisha walked close to him.
'acha rehene do,waise tumhara mood itna off kiyu hai?'
'tumhe kya fark parta hai aisha?mujhe office jana hai,late ho raha hai,'sameer replied with a flat tone,
'sameer tum..kya hua?'aisha asked holding his wrist,sensing something was terribly wrong,
Sameer jerked her hand away and turned to face her.He held her by her shoulders and started speaking a bit loudly this time,
'tum samajhti kya ho aisha?kal jo hua,usse tum enjoyment keheti ho?nashe ke halat mein khud ko samhal nehi sakti ho,chalna to dur sidhe khari bhi nehi ho sakti aur tum..aisha mujhe thanks kehene se better hai tum reality ko samjho,tum aise drink karogi to undercover pe kya karogi?kitna khatra hai soch sakti ho?'
Aisha was completely puzzled at his sudden outburst.His hold on her shoulders were hurting her but she kept calm and voiced out.
'sameer kya kehe rahe ho?kya hua batao na?meine kal kuch kaha kya?ya kuch kiya?mujhe yaad nehi,tum...' aisha now felt something was really serious and asked him scared,
'exactly aisha.tumhe kuch yaad nehi.tumhe yaad nehi,pub se nakalne ke baad tum kaha thi?yaha is ghar mein kaise ayi,uss room mein kaise gayi,agar tumhare sath koi kuch karta bhi to tumhe yaad nehi reheta,aur tum isse enjoyment keheti ho?'sameer bursted on her,
Now it was getting unbearable for aisha.All his words were indicating to something she had releaved her mind of.She had trusted sameer and knew well he could not have used her unconcious state to his advantage.But his words,his indications were hurting her more than she could take.She jerked his hands of her shoulder angrily and stepped back.
'sameer...what the hell are you speaking?yes i dont remember what i did last night but then i was with you sameer and i trust you enough to lose myself in front of you.Tumse mujhe khatra kaha hai? or am i too wrong to keep my trust in you?'
Sameer had not expected and wanted this outpour.After his loss of control last night he had finally decided to keep aisha at a distance from him.But he was ashamed to accept his deed and blasted o her.He kept his silence,her words didnt hurt him until she spoke the last bit of their conversation.
Aisha moved another few steps back.Her eyes were burning and she could notice the view of sameer in front was getting blury.She had a sore lump in her throat and fisted her palms to control herself.She blinked her eyes to look at his face clearly but everytime it turned blurry.Finally after a long pause she spoke up,
'I am sorry that i trusted you Sameer.I thought you would be able to keep the friendship we had promised each other,but..'she wiped the tear which rolled out from her eyelid.
Sameer stepped foward looking at her painful face but stopped at his track.It took him every ounce of his patience to control his hands to reach out to her.He couldnt bear the hatred her eyes kept conveying.He turned his back to go inside but aisha stopped him again.
'hume ab ek saat nehi rehena chahiye.waise bhi divorce to karna hi hai,tum arrangements karke rakh do,mein mission se wapas ake sign kar dungi.Aur agar nehi ayi to tum waise bhi free ho jaoge,'she told him with a stern face and walked inside.
His heart had stopped beating.Yes he wanted to keep her away but not lose her forever.The remorse and guilty feel inside him had made him speak to her but he had not expected her to break all ties with him.He wanted their friendship to develop and it was but he unknowlingly destroyed everything.
He walked to their room and stood outside the door.Aisha was packing her stuff.She felt his presence and stopped at her work.He walked in but didnt know what to tell her or how to convince her.He took his clothes and walked to the washroom.Aisha heard the washroom door close and signed.
She was feeling heart broken.She was shattered.She looked herself into the mirror carefully but couldnt find any traces of intimacy from last night.It confused her more now what actually sameer was talking about.Had he lost his control with her or did she provoke him?or did something really hapepned between them last night,which she couldnt remember?she was confused but her anger couldnt voice them out.
She packed her bags and left the room to the guest room.Sameer too left for the office without meeting her.He couldnt face her anymore.

It was late evening and still none of them had even spoken to each other.Both of them needed space and time alone to clarify their inner turmoils.Both had decided on their own to give the other person that space and freedom to decide their course of life.
Aisha left for pune by the evening flight and sameer spent the whole night in his office working on some random files.Both had covered their hearts in a thick wall of pretence but unknown to them their hearts did convey their words in their own way.
