"You love him" the words of Viren Jiju echoed in her mind. That was it; the 3 words which made her complicated life even more complicated. She sat up on the bed, wiping her sweat. It was 1:00 AM and the words still hadn't left her mind. It was a haunting thought, falling for her best friend. Her childhood friend. All this time, was there more to their friendship than they thought? The excitement she had in her for getting promoted looked no more to her. She remembered that when they were kids they used to trouble others and always stuck to each other through thick and thin. How could it be that she had fallen for him? The world was so cruel. When she realized the harsh truth, she could do nothing but cry. Of course, he was marrying Maya! When Maya entered their world, she changed everything. Virat and Maanvi were drifting apart and now she could almost sense it. She wanted to see Virat happy but by doing so, was she ruining her whole life? The depth of Jiju's words now seemed more clearer to her. It was not just 'you love him' but there was more to it than she thought. Was loving someone so hard? Was it necessary for every love story to be complicated? In her case, it wasn't even love story. It was just her who loved him and she wasn't even fully sure of it. How the night ended and the sun shone on her face so quickly, she didn't know but now she was sure about her feelings. Even in their friendship there was love, even in their fights but what seemed the worse to her was that even after realizing, the words didn't seem to come out. Now she truly understood that life wasn't as easy as it seemed.

You had moments of happiness but with that happiness comes great sadness too. Wherever success comes, there's failure too. And where there is love, there is sacrifice too.

"Sir, I have to attend a wedding right now. How exactly do you expect me to move so quickly?... What? As soon as the wedding ends? That is like impossible in such a short notice... er yeah I get it... alright."

Jeevika entered the room where Maanvi was busy packing her clothes while getting ready.

"Mannu... why are you packing your stuff?" She asked quite surprised by the scene in front of her. "I'm sorry Di. I've been posted to Boston and my boss says that I have to move as soon as the wedding ends. He has booked the flight tickets for me. I'm so sorry but you know how important it is, right?" Maanvi hugged her Di tightly and sobbed. She took out all her frustration from the past month in the form of tears. Virat wasn't even able to talk to Maanvi. Whenever they thought of going out together and have fun, he would change the plans and go out with Maya instead. Their friendship wasn't the same anymore and she would be going away, leaving everyone she loved to a place where she would be a complete stranger.

The wedding bells rang and the priest chanted the prayers. Her eyes turned watery as she saw Virat's smiling face but there was a lost look in his eyes. As if he wasn't sure about his feelings. In the past month, Maanvi thought Virat would be sure by now but looking at him, it certainly didn't look as if he was. How could she tell Virat that she was going away and leaving forever? Would it hurt him as much as it hurt her?

Dear Virat,

I guess you would be married till the time I reach Boston. Life isn't the same anymore, is it? I deeply regret that I couldn't spend as much time as I was supposed to. But you are my best-friend and forgetting you would be like a lifetime punishment for me. I'm sorry but leaving all of you isn't my decision, I've been posted there because of my work and it's too important. I didn't get a chance to hug you tightly and say a goodbye; I didn't want you to be unhappy on your wedding. When you miss me, don't worry, I will reply to all your emails and yeah just remember our childhood days. Don't forget that at one time we used to be the most annoying kids ever and now look at us. You are married and I'm doing the job I always wanted to.

Anyway, don't forget me! I'll always be there in your heart if not in front of you and promise me that you'll take care of Maya. Promise me that you'll never leave her and love her forever. Don't worry, everything will be alright. Your confusion won't be there anymore. Everything will be a clear picture.
