Arnav: What? I asked someone to follow you? Why Would I Khushi? Are you out of your mind ?

Khushi: First even I didnt believe but later when I heard one of them speaking over the phone to you. I heard him telling you I have just left from teh Hotel meeting Paapa.

Arnav was double shocked. First shock was because he really didnt ask anyone to follow Khushi and spy on her so why would someone fake talking on the call to him? And second shock was because she had been to see her father. His anger was raised as he started asking her.

Arnav: Without even letting me know you went to see him?

Khushi: If I would have told you, would you allow me to do it Arnav?

Arnav sighed as he never expected Khushi to do something like this.

Arnav: You let my trust down Khushi. You know how much I love you and even then you couldnt trust me on this matter. I was going to see him today and talk to him, if you would have told me you are so desperate to see your real dad, I would have taken you with me

His anger was reflected in his tone.

Khushi: Trust ? You talking about Trust to me Arnav? What did you do? You knew I will wish to see my father once and hence you already assigned some men to follow me?

Arnav: I never did that Khushi. You are mistaken. I am not that kind of a husband who distrusts his wife. I know you, I know what you going through within because of all this. I thought you will ask me once atleast before you wish to go and see him. But looks like I trusted you for wrong. You cheated me.

Khsuhi: I am not cheating you Arnav. I had been there not to share my love for my father. I had been there to find what the truth is. I wanted to know, the Sin that you all are blaming him for , has he even done it or not

She had started crying already and he could see that.

Arnav: You think he will easily tell the truth to you? Why wil he confess to you Khushi? Only because you are his daughter? He can do anything to make himself good before your eyes.

Khushi: Yes he can. But he can never take a false promise of his Daughter keeping his hand on her head. Paapa didnt do anything wrong Arnav. He was plotted for this.

SHe cried on his chest wrapping her arms around him while he stood still not hugging her back.

Khushi: Paapa is innocent Arnav. He didnt do anything. He is purposely been dragged into all this. For once you have to talk to him, listen what he has to say. He is not the real culprit Arnav. Please. Please believe me.

He pulled her from their hug in anger and stared in her eyes.

Arnav: Its easy for a daughter to believe her father Khushi. You are blind in judging him. Shashi Gupta is the real culprit and I am not going to step back in my revenge at any step. Not even for you.

It was the first time that Arnav was choosing his revenge over his wife. She rooted at the spot unable to believe he actually said this.

He left towards the Door but heard her from behind.

Khushi: Mrs Astha Raizada is not your mother Arnav!! She is not your real mother.

Her voice was clear and firm. That one sentence stopped him . He angrily turned back to her. His eyes reflected the pain he had in them. But he didnt look shocked. He was not even surprised to know this and this shook her for sure.

Khushi: You knew this?

She came forward and looked in his moist eyes.

Arnav: Haan. I know this. Di knows this. Nani knows this. Everyone knows here that Mrs Astha Raizada is not my real mother. So? That doesnt change anything Khushi. The fact remains the same. And who told you this? Your father?

His anger was rising again.

Khushi: Yes . paapa told me everything Arnav. He told me what had happened years back in and out. Want to hear it? Are you even prepared to hear the most worse truth of your life?

Arnav was numb. But he still tried to show he was unaffected by this and wanted to hear what Shashi Gupta had told his daughter about.

Khushi: Your real mother Aarti passed away at a very young age. You were just 4 then when she took her last breathe.

Arnav fisted his fingers in anger because she was telling him something he already knew and didnt wish to remember anytime.

Khushi: And then your father married your Maasi Astha so that she can nurture you and Di as her own kids. But he took a wrong decision Arnav, because Mrs Astha Raizada was only interested in your father's money and never in you both. Your Nani was well aware of this and she always tried to give the portion of love to you and Di which Astha Raizada couldnt. She always had an eye on the property Arnav, which belonged to you and Di. She knew she can never claim this property to herself, because in between she had a husband who was very strict in his principles. Your father always kept a watch on his second' wife's deeds . Nothing was hidden from him and hence he made a will.. Before his best friend Shashi Gupta, my father.

Arnav's eyebrow cocked hearing this. WILL? What WILL?

Khushi: A will which stated that if in future anything happens to him, the entire property of the Raizada's will be on his Son Arnav's name. And till he is 21, mrs Astha Raizada will be the Caretaker of it. Astha Raizada had no idea of this Will because it was always hidden from her. Only my father and your dad knew what it was and how to get into practice. Days passed and you turned 8. Astha was enjoying the benefits of becoming the Bahu of this house but she started miusing the money, power and everything else she can. She invested a huge amount in a company in Nainital on the influence of some of her friend. After some days she came to know that the company was fake and her freind trapped her for money. Her friend ran away but Astha Raizada had to face a lot of humiliation from your father for what she did. It was a Huge sum she had taken in the form of a loan with your father being the Guarantor. The loan amount was not so easily payable by your father and he was tensed. My father had taken me and my mother for a trip to some other country. So he had no idea on what had happened down here in India. Neither did your father inform him anything or take his help. And then one day My father got a call saying Arjun Raizada committed suicide.

Arnav was stunned. He didnt know if this was the truth but he didnt interrupt her at any moment and allowed her to speak.

Khushi: When paapa came back to India for completing the final rituals of your father's death, Astha Raizada had come to know about the will which was made and she tried to bribe my father for proving it a fake one as she couldnt do this alone. My father denied and inturn she played her cards on him and his reputation. She faked before the media that her husband comitted a Suicide because Shashi Gupta had an eye on their property which belonged to the Raizada's. She proved it falsely before everyone that the money which she had raised on the name of that new frawd company was on the influence of Shashi Gupta only who wanted to ruin the Raizada's and take the first position in Business market which till then was ruled always by the Raizada's . She tried all her level best to fake things as much as she can to put my Paapa behind the bars and it happened. He was been retained by the Police for some investigation.

She had so much to tell and she was still doing it but all she wanted now was Arnav to believe her words.

Khushi: When Paapa was behind the bars, Maa took me to the temple to pray for Dad and once again life turned against my family. My Own Step Uncle Mohan Gupta kidnapped me from that temple. And from there on, you know what happened with me. Maa's condition started getting worst, Paapa was released by the Police having no strong proofs against them and even after that when Paapa tried to find me everywhere, he could never reach me because Mohan Gupta had taken me to Mumbai. I was no longer in Delhi then. My Maa died feeling sick for missing me. Your Maa fed your ears all these years about my father but in true sense she is the one who played all the time with you , Di, Nani and my paapa too. She is the one you should be revenging Arnav. Not my Dad.

She had finished what she had to say. All this was told to her by her father today when she met him and now she waited for Arnav to show some reaction to this.

Arnav: Done with what he lied to you? Or is there still anything else you missed out?

Khushi: You still think all this is a lie?

Arnav: Yes it is Khushi.

He clutched her in his arms and started firing at her from his words.

Arnav: I know what Mrs Raizada is. I know she never gave me and Di time as she was much busy in her personal works which I dont care to know what they are. But she is fighting from past years to get the Will from your father which he snatched from my Dad and never returned it to anyone here because he never wished to see us happy. I am not praising her Khushi but I have seen her struggling for getting in touch with Shashi Gupta to fight against him but she was never successful. Your dad did tell you what happened when he came back for the last rituals of my father but he didnt tell you one thing probably which I heard from my own ears and saw from my own eyes. You know what he said to Maa that day? He said he will die, but he will never let the Will pass on to anyone here. Maa was pleading before him and begging him to give it not for her sake but me and Di but he didnt give a ear to it. I have seen it Khushi. Those tears of a mother which I saw in the age of 8 were not fake. You father was a selfish man and he always will be. Why in all these years he didnt come to me and sort this matter?

Khushi: He tried contacting you Arnav. But he could never reach you. Your mother and her self created situations always made him stay away but he never wanted your money. You wont believe me wont you? Then come here.

She took him inside at the Cupboard and opened it. She picked an envelope and some keys and then handed it to him.

Khushi: This is the Will and these are the Keys of the Safelockers where your father had saved money for you and Di seperately. Paapa has returned it back to me. He was going to do this when you meet him today evening but I forced him to give it to me because I knew you will not believe me unless you see all this.

Arnav checked the papers and it indeed were the same ones which she was talking about. THe will of his father.

Arnav: That doesnt prove his innocence still Khushi. He must have returned it knowing you are my wife. His daughter is my wife, so he will obviously want good for her. He is not doing for me, he is doing this for his own daughter.

Khushi: Arnav please think wisely. You have to consider all sides of the story. I know Mrs Raizada has raised you and Di from childhood no matter if she could pass on the same love of a mother to you both or not. But I will still tell you, dont trust her completely. Please.

Today Arnav Singh Raizada was in a very terrible situation. He didnt know whom to trust and whom to punish. His wife's tears and her belief on her father wanted him to take her side but the little if not much affection he still had got from his step mother and the scene of the past which he had witnessed from his own eyes where his Maa was pleading to Shashi Gupta, shadowed everything again.
