Part 19

She was searching for her night suit to change. The Farewell party had tired her and all she needed was a peaceful sleep. After sorting her issues with Arnav, she was finally feeling on top of the world. In her thoughts she didnt even realise when Arnav was inside her room. The gentle and soft kiss he placed on her neck made her come out of her reverie. He wrapped his arms around her waist from behind and kept kissing her neck and ear. She gasped holding his hands and trying to unwind it.

Khushi: Arnav I have to change to my night suit. Let me find it please.

Arnav: Sleep in this Saree tonight.

Khushi: No. It would be uncomfortable.

Arnav kissed her cheeks replying back in his husky voice.

Arnav: As if I will let you wear it the whole night. It will be off your body soon. I swear on God.

She had no intentions of showing him how much she wanted him to do that because they were not alone in Raizada Mansion. His Sister and her brother stayed in just the next room and they hardly had a knowledge of what was cooking between them.

Khushi managed to get off his hold and turned back

Khushi: I am sleeping alone Arnav and no arguments in that. What if someone sees us like this?

Arnav: I know how to shut their mouths so stop thinking about them and pay some attention to your boy friend who had to face sleepless nights from past few weeks without you beside him.

He picked her in his arms , shutting the Closet door from his legs and walked towards her bed.

Her saree was no more on her body within an hour. She was in the InnerSkirt and his Shirt to cover her upper body from his eyes. His hands fiddled with the shirt buttons to open but she had a control on his actions tonight. It felt blissful to sleep next to him just like old times, to kiss him in between their short naps with his toe fingers caressing her soft milky legs. Her fingers were making soothing circles at his back, and she was busy kissing his chest, neck, arms and had no intentions to stop tonight. Arnav suddenly remembered something important and made her stop. Pulling her towards his face, he kissed her forhead and looked in her eyes.

Arnav: I am SORRY Khushi. For all those words I told you in my rage about we sharing the bed like this. I really didnt mean to make you repent for sleeping with me. I ..

She placed a finger on his lips shutting his mouth.

Khushi: Let the past be past Arnav. Dont I know you? I had seen how hurt you felt telling me all that even in the Bachelor's party of Sanjay. The only difference in Arnav then and now was , that Arnav didnt wish to show he is hurt because he wished to show me how wrong I did to him.

Arnav held her wrist and kissed her knuckles lovingly.

Arnav: Promise me Khushi, you will never leave me again. Even if one of us go wrong , the other will point that out, sort it out but always staying together. You have no idea how I lived in this house without you. Felt like my whole world was collapsing.

Khushi: You think I was enjoying? Every moment I saw you acting normal without me in your life, I felt dejected. And then when Lavanya returned back , I cursed myself for helping a friend like her who just used me for her purpose.

Arnav sat on the bed with his back leaned on the headboard behind and embraced Khushi in his arms again.

Arnav: But your plans had many loop holes Khushi. You never thought you will fall for a man like me?

Khushi: Never. I hate people who dont respect this relationship Arnav. You have no idea what my mumma gone through.

Her eyes were moist and Arnav immediately pulled her chin up looking in them.

Arnav: I know everything Khushi. Di told me about her. That incident which you lived years ago changed my thoughts too. A man like me who never believed in relationships started worshipping them.

Khushi chuckled and pinched his nose.

Khushi: Credit goes to me Raizada.

Arnav kissed her forehead agreeing to what she said.

Arnav: Yes Guest Gupta. All the credit for my change goes only to you.

He comforted her in his arms and after some more little talks they finally drifted to sleep.

Her phone rang early morning but she was still in a very deep sleep which was not allowing her to pick the call. Arnav answered it gently caressing Khushi's hair and drawing her close to him again.

Arnav: Hi Sheetal.

Sheetal on the other end was confused with the fact that Arnav Singh Raizada was answering Khushi's call early morning? She tried to guess the situation from his sleepy voice and was hoping that they had patched up.

Sheetal: Hi ASR. Good Morning. So you both are finally together again?

Arnav : Hmm. Just waiting to make it official.

Sheetal: Aww. How sweet is that. What is my friend doing? Is she awake? Or sleeping?

Arnav opened his eyes and saw Khushi cuddling him feeling cold.

Arnav: She is sleeping Sheetal. I will ask her to call you back. By the way hows your honeymoon going?

Sheetal: Fantastic. We are returning tomorrow. Its been a week here and still wish to stay here for some more time. Tell Khushi I have bought something for her. Something which you will definately love to see her in.

Arnav remembered what she had promised Khushi in the airport while leaving to Maldives. A sexy Red Bikini. He admired Khushi's face again wishing to see her in that two piece right now but for all this he had to wait. He didnt wish to go against her beliefs of submitting herself completely to him not before marriage.

Sheetal: Okay you both enjoy . Will see you once we back. Bye.

Arnav: Bye . Take Care

He cut the call and checked the time on his watch. It was already half past 6 and he knew his Di wakes up by this time. If she doesnt find him in his room she will be suspicious. So moving Khushi on her side of the bed and pulling a Sheet on her he got up and walked back to his room not before pecking her lips once.

Khushi came down in an hour searching for Arnav who wasnt there in her room when she woke up , nor was he in his bedroom. Where could he go? She had taken her Shower and placed his shirt back in his room before anyone sees that White shirt with her. Lavanya came there finishing her morning Jog.

Lavanya: Hi Khushi. Good Morning. Done with the packing?

Khushi: Uhh . No. Did you see Arnav?

Lavanya: ASR? Why? He is going to drop you to the Airport ?

Khushi didnt wish to reply her anything and spoil her own mood. She could clearly see how much Lavanya was enjoying the fact that she was leaving back to Ireland today. She started walking ahead continuing her search but Lavanya poked her back.

Lavanya: By the way, when did you come back home last night? Didnt see you till the end of the party. You missed so much fun out there. Specially the little dance that me and ASR shared on the dance floor.

Khushi stopped. She knew Lavanya was lying. How can he dance with her when they both had left the party together to come back home?

Lavanya: Jealous ?

She chuckled but continued her lie

Lavanya: We even kissed. You know Khushi, now I think after you leave this place, it will be easier for me to get him back. He is changing for me. Didnt you see how much he ignores you all the time ?Even last night in the party, he complimented me but he didnt utter a single word to you. How bad. But let me praise you for that Saree you wore. You looked gorgeous too but not for Arnav I guess.

Khushi was very angry seeing the chain of lies that Lavanya was telling her and purposely trying to hurt her.

Khushi: Enough Lavanya. This is too much. You lie so much and I am sure all that you told me before in Ireland about how Arnav used you all the time and you never got his love back in return was always a lie . Its my foolishness that I believed you and came here all the way to revenge Arnav for you. I have got enough pain in the process but not anymore. What did you say just now? He danced with you , kissed you right? How can he do that La when he was with me all the time . Do you know why I came off from that party? Because Arnav and I finally confessed outside how much we love each other. We came back home leaving the farewell party because we wished to spend some time with each other. And I dont need to tell you what happened between me and him after that because you are not worth sharing such things. So please, just stop being a possessed for him now because what you did and what you doing, you never belong him. Everyone has a past Lavanya , so did you and Arnav. But after he broke up with you , he never returned back to you in all those months because he didnt wish to give you false hopes again of settling his life with you. You were demanding things from him which he never believed. You should have made him realise what the relationships meant to you and everything would have sorted out. But you fooled me to come here and revenge him for you. And after all that when I am out of the picture because I could ditch him and not my best friend, now you are coming back in the picture to win your share? This is so ridiculous! And its a Shame for me Lavanya that I ever considered you as my Best friend.

Lavanya was shocked with these words from her. She was still stuck to the sentence where Khushi told her she and Arnav confessed their love again for each other.

Lavanya: You and Arnav are together again? How could you Khushi?

Khushi: Because we love each other Lavanya. He never forced me to love him back neither did I force him to marry me. But still things changed. When you genuinely fall in love, things happen , you dont need to create them. Just like it happened with me and Arnav. I never thought I will fall for a man like him, But still I never repented making Love to him. He never thought he would believe in relationships but when he started loving me, all he dreamt was marrying me and keeping me with him for lifetime. Thats True Love. For God's sake realise your fault atleast now Lavanya. Try to understand that all this is over now. You played with his emotions using me as a Bait and in turn you lost him forever.

"No", Lavanya Screamed in anger seeing Khushi.

Lavanya: I cannot lose him Khushi. You will lose him. He is mine. Samjhi? He is just mine.

She ran away back towards her room shedding tears from her eyes which were seen by Khushi too. She felt bad seeing Lavanya in this condition but it was high time Lavanya understands what wrong she did and the best way to correct things now was to accept the reality. Someone placed a hand on Khushi's shoulder and she turned seeing Arnav there. He had heard all their conversation. He wiped the tears from Khushi's eyes too and then hugged her, not caring if anyone sees them like this.

Arnav: I should talk to Lavanya too Khushi. Whatever happened was my fault too. Just like we sorted things between us, I need to sort the mess she landed up because of me.

Khushi knew he was right. She was with him in this decision.
