Chapter 1
"And then he threw me out of the class", said NK after a brief pause and Akash and Shaan burst out laughing.
NK, 5'9, fair and slim, dressed in blue tshirt and black jeans, was joking about his programming teacher. He had a great sense of humor.
Akash, in his favourite white tshirt and blue jeans, on the other hand was a little taller than NK and a little introvert but his reputation as a computer genius preceded him.
Although they were all 18yrs old but Shaan, wearing maroon tshirt and blue jeans, had more distinct qualities from both of them. Largely because he was very mature for his age and at 5'8, he was quite handsome. He was known as The Cool Dude' among his classmates due to the fact that he had a very positive attitude and a very friendly nature. The list of his crushes' was longer than his height but still, it never bothered him.
"Hey, you remember one time when Shaan overtook director's car on the teacher's day back in 12th grade? said NK.
"Yeah, how can we forget that. We had to stand for three hours outside her office to get our id cards back." Said Akash.
Shaan was still laughing when he saw Payal entering the canteen. At 5'6, Payal was a beautiful girl. She was dressed in purple sweatshirt and black jeans and her curly black hairs were gliding on her shoulders. She was slim and was sometimes very health-conscious. She was Shaan's best friend since middle school.
As she entered the canteen, she looked around and after locating Shaan sitting at the corner table, walked straight towards him. She was followed by a girl older than her who was looking very disturb and whom Shaan had never seen before. As Payal reached their table NK was about to say something but after spotting her, stopped short. He always felt a little uncomfortable around Payal, mainly because Shaan was very protective towards her and that in turn made NK unable to crack jokes on her. Payal knew this and enjoyed this immunity from NK's jokes.
"I need to talk to you guys" said Payal as soon as she reached the table. The other girl stayed behind her, looking curiously at Shaan.
"Yeah sure, what's it about?" said Shaan after giving a quick look at the other girl.
"Not here, let's go somewhere else. It is kind of important." replied Payal looking a little nervous.
"Al'rite. Let's go guys" said Shaan getting up and they all followed him outside. Shaan took them to the college lawn that was deserted at that time and after they were all settled, he said, "So, what is it?" After giving a quick nod to the other girl who nodded back, she said,"This is Khushi, my second cousin and SHE IS BEING HAUNTED BY A GHOST!!!"
