Chapter 8:

Next day, ETF Office-

Everybody is in conference room chatting. They are discussing about the new two officers who are going to join ETF today. But Aisha's mind isn't in the conversation. She is thinking about Sammer. Today when she entered in office she noticed that Sameer is looking quite tensed. Before she could ask he went straight to his cabin. Till then never once he came out from his cabin. She couldn't take the tension more. She got up from her chair.

Sakshi: Aare Aisha kaha jaa rahi hoon?

Aisha: Woh Rathod sir...

Liza: Ohho KOI aapne RATHOD SIR ke cabin me jaa rahe hai. Subah se dikhe nehi na? Aab bina UNHE dekhe KISIKI dinki shuruad hi nehi hoti.

Shree: Tumbhi na Liza!! Aab Aisha keya kare. Yeh dil hai hi itni badtamiz.

Saying that Shree winks at Aisha. All burst out laughing. Aisha just shakes her head.

Taking a cup of coffee Aisha nocks in Sameer's cabin's door but got no answer. After knocking several times she enter into the cabin. Sameer was sitting in his chair. An open file infront him. But he wasn't looking at the file. He was looking through the window. A distant look on his eyes.

Aisha: Sir?

Silence...

Aisha (again): Sir?

This time Sameer noticed her presence.

Sameer: Aisha! Tum kab ayi? Kuch kaam tha?

Aisha give him the coffe mug..

Sameer: Thank you. Tum khari kiyu ho? Baitho na?

Aisha sat on the chair opposite him and look intently at him. He had dark circles under his eyes as if he had passed a sleepless night.

Aisha: Sir aap rath bhaar soyi nehi? Subah se dekh rahi ho aap pareshaan lag rahe hai. Koi baath hai? Aap chahe toh mujhe baatha sakhte hai. I know mai aapni limits cross kar rahi hoon..

Sameer (snapping her short): Tum koi limits cross nehi kar rahi hoon. Mujhe accha laga yeh jaanke ki tum mere care karte hoon.

Aisha blushed at this. Indeed she care for him. Not just as a colleague or friend but something else. She doesn't know when it happen how it happen but she started falling for this person.

Aisha: Toh sir aab batha bhi dijiye ki keya baath hai jo aapko satha raha hai.

Sameer (taking deep breath): Tumlogo toh patha hi hai ki aaj do neye officer ETF join karne wale hai unmese ek Riya hai.

Aisha: Keya. But yeh saab achanak. Mera matlab hai ki itne saalo ke baad woh wapas ageyi!!

Sameer: Haan. Mujhe kal raat ko DIG sir ka call aya tha. Unhone mujhe bathaya. I was really shocked. Mujhe Sakshi ki bohot chinta ho rahi hai. Uparse Arjun bhi yaha nehi hai. Patha nehi woh iss bath ko kaise handle karegi.

Aisha: Aapne Arjun sir ko bathaya iss bare main?

Sameer: Nehi. Woh pehle se hi Sakshi ki safety ko lekar itna parshaan hai. Uparse yeh mission. Usse haar haal mein iss mission pe successful hona hai. Main usse aur pareshaani mein nehi daal na chahtha.

Aisha: I can understand sir. Aap fikar math kijiye. Sakshi is a brave girl and I am sure ki woh iss bath koh maturedly handle karegi.

Sameer: Are you sur Aisha? Aab Arjun yaha nehi hai toh Sakshi meri zimmedari hui. Meri choti behen jaisi hai woh.

Aisha: Sir aap mujhpe trust karte hai na?

Sameer: Haan.

Aisha: Toh issbar bhi trust kar lijiye. Aap yeh baath sabko batha dijiye. Isse saab prepared bhi honge aur situation ko handle karne mein aur bhi asani hogi.Sakshi ko kuch nehi hoga. Haam saab hai na usske sath?

Sameer: Thank you Aisha. Thank you.

Aisha: Sir aap mujhe khamokha hi thanks de rahe hai. Sakshi meri bhi dost hai.

Sameer smiled. He knew that she will take care of Sakshi. He feels relieved now.

Same time, Parking lot of ETF-

A boy is sitting in the driver seat. In the passenger seat sitting Riya.

Riya: Keya Jay!! Itna tension kiyu le rahe ho? Tum ETF join karne wale hoon.Tumhara sapna aj pura hone ja raha hai. Aab haam dono sath sath kaam karenge.

Jay: Yaar Riya ETF join karne ja raha hoon main ETF. Sab mujhe apnayenge na?

Riya: Ohho. Maine tumse pehle bhi kaha na woh log bohot acche hai.

Jay (snapping her short): Haan kaha tha. Par wohlog tumpe bohot gussa hai na. Aab main tumhari dost hoon toh mujhpe bhi gussa ho gaye toh??

Riya had to laugh at this. They are friends for 5 years. He is her best friend. He know everything.

Riya: Buddhu kahika. Aisa kuch nehi hoga. Aab chalo. Haam late ho rahe hai.

ETF conference room-

All are sitting and watching their Chief standing up from chair for 3^rd time. He had asked everyone to be present in conference room. He had something to tell. But he didn't said anything yet. All are waiting.

Sameer (taking deep breath): Guys tum logo ko toh patha hi hai ki aaj do neye officers ETF join karne wale hai. Woh dono kabhi bhi aate hi honge..

Suddenly a voice came from the door: A geye hai.

Jay is standing at the door. Beside her is Riya.

Sameer: Aao andar aao. Welcome to ETF. Guys yeh hai Jay Shergil and Riya Mukharjee. Hamaare neye officers. Jay, Riya yeh hai Shreekant sen urf Shree, Chandrakant patil urf Chotu, Aisha kapoor, Liza D'suza, Sakshi Ra..mera matlab Sakshi Anand. Tumhaare colleagues. Main Sameer Rathod Yaha ke chief. Hamare second in command Arjun Rawte iss waqt ek mission pe geya hai. Now the introducing part is over I hope your days in ETF goes well.

Saying this he went to his cabin. Leaving baffled team behind her.

All of them was really shocked except Aisha. Shree never in his dreams thought that Riya would join ETF after what he said to her. Sakshi just keep staring at Riya.
